It’s not technically a mousse. Most of the cake slice is sponge so it isn’t very rich and sweet. Green tea doesn’t taste like green tea and has red beans in them. Liked Black Forest better than the rest.

Really delicious cake! I didn't order it but I got to taste it. It was something like a mango moose and it wasn't just the typical American birthday cake we're all used to. The flavor and texture was balanced and not just straight sugar. I generally don't go back for seconds with normal cake because it's just too sweet and one dimensional but I was able to finish like half this cake... ooops.

June 2020 visit. Takeout cakes and bread only. *** Very wide selection of dessert and Asian style bread and cookies pastries. The birthday cakes choices are great and some nuts free options for shoppers with allergies. Cakes are not too sweet and very airy light. Hong Kong style Chinese food is delicious. Bubble tea and coffee are great! Would recommend. june 2019. Seems renovated and spacious. Delicious mango mousse cake. We tried the lunch special it's good for the price. Fish in s hot pot continues to be my favorite! Spicy salt fried chops were excellent.

If you an Indian and want to eat Indian flavoured cream taste cake you my friend are going to the right place!!🫠 The cakes here are really yummmy! Even the breads and cookies are really tasty 🤤 My personal favourite is fruit and napoleon cake/ pastries 🍰🥮 If you have ever had cream roll in India and you love it you must try napoleon pastry!

UPDATE September 2022 Still great bakery but thanks to Bidenflation prices have gone way up; current price of a small cake is more expen$ive than the price of a large cake back in 2020; no dine-in hot food service; same quality, service but expect to pay a lot more for the same cake; bubble/boba tea quality was never great and is still so-so; I'll keep coming for their individually wrapped pastries 😋 👍 Newly renovated interior and bigger café & restaurant area! Standard Chinese dishes are good and of course, excellent cakes, bubble teas and assorted Chinese pastries & breads. Reasonably priced and very busy during peak hours. The best and most famous Chinese bakery in Washington state 😁

Grew up coming here since the early 2000s. Really great baked goods, cakes and boba. Have never tried their hot meals but I’ve heard good things. People on here complain about raised prices- while I understand how frustrating it can be, the pandemic hurt many small businesses and recovery is a stressful and long process. I’m very glad they survived. Come here if you can afford the costs (which I don’t believe are too outrageous compared to bakeries in the city) but I don’t think they should be knocked too bad for it x

Good location, and absolutely amazing baked goods. Everything else on the menu is good, don't get me wrong, but the skill and care on display with the baked goods outshines just about anywhere else. Seriously, treat yourself if you get a chance - they're SO good.

The taro cake used to be my favorite. We got one for a birthday celebration and were really disappointed by the quality and taste. Unfortunately, they not only increased the cake price significantly but also reduced the ingredient cost by using similar outer layer whipped cream between the cake layers instread of fresh taro puree. The cake tasted so greasy and did not have the fresh taro flavor, and we couldn't finish it. Please change your website description "Vanilla sponge cake layered with fresh taro puree and covered with vanilla whipped cream." to match the cake you sell, or change back to your old recipe. We will have to look for fresh taro cakes elsewhere.

I bought the Japanese cheese cake from them. OMG, it’s nothing like the real Japanese cheese cake at all, in fact it even doesn’t taste a tiny bit of Japanese cheese cake. I suggest the baker to try what’s the real Japanese cheese cake is like. It’s terrible!

They make the best cakes and pastries. Its been a go to place for over a decade now. They ha e added so many cake varieties. The best is the cakes are available in many different sizes. It is slightly pricier but the food quality offsets it.

This is an Asian style bakery with a lot of choices. We always get our cakes from here because they are real cakes. The amount of sugar is tolerable, they use real fruits in fruit cake, there's no artificial flavoring or colors. I would definitely recommend this place.

I've been coming here for almost 2 decades. Pastries were consistently mediocre but the price point was good. That is definitely not the case these last few years. Just bought a vanilla roll today only to see the size of it shrink significantly. I wish I had a picture for comparison to show the portion difference. I understand inflation, but raising prices AND reducing portions is a bit too much. My last time visiting here. Glad they're not the only game in town.

Disappointed! Regent used to be the favorite bakery on the east side, and I have been going there for years. Sadly to see the quality of their products has been going downhill, and price keeps increasing. The cake roll is a lot smaller than what it used to be, and the price for the pork sung bund is $4 each now. They also charge tax on top of it because there is a “cafe”, which bakery items are tax free at most of other bakeries. I wouldn’t go back again.

Though it's not the best possible option, I keep coming back to this place. Their coffee is pretty good and the baked goods are fresh and not too sweet, for my taste buds. Today, I had a fresh lemon gree tea and a cream puff. The tea was great, the cream puff was good, but no way it was a custard cream, as I was told. It was probably a whipped cream with some boxed vanilla pudding. Still good. Take out only.

I want to start this off by saying that I’ve been and will continue being a loyal customer for years. I love regent bakery’s cakes because the frosting is perfect in sweetness and lightness making it actually desirable and delicious. One of my neighbors recommended regent bakery and cafe to me, i tried it, and never looked back. I highly recommend trying their cakes and buns (get the single slices if you are unsure of which size, they’re the perfect size for an indulgent snack). I know for sure that I’ll be back.

I came here to get a last minute birthday cake..And the place didn't disappoint. They have some really good cake and pastries options. I got a Tiramisu cake.

Solid. Picked up 30 buns ($3/bun) to travel back home. I didn’t eat all the buns but their Dan-tat (egg tart) is very good. 5 out of 5. At $2.25 versus Chinatown at ($1.35-$1.65), this place is better. For the size? It’s half the size and an extra 40%, I would choose Chinatown. Apparently no one here serves the flaky crust version but luckily, I like the short bread cookie version for my egg tart. The boba? Good. The coffee milk tea is okay, 3 star. I would recommend a different flavor although this is based on one experience. Overall, 4-star. Enjoy peeps.
