The lobster Mac and cheese is exceptional I could eat it everyday for the rest of my life!!! I didn’t get photos but the appetizers We got were brussel sprouts and onion rings and they were SOOOO good! Everything here was great. I really enjoyed coming here and will be a repeat customer!!!

Great filling meal for a date night. Menu has enough variety and it’s all delicious. Leave room for dessert. I recommend the ribeye cowboy style with garlic mashed. Cheesecake for dessert. Their mixed drink was strong enough with a twist.

I made a reservation at this wonderful spot with exquisite food! The service was amazing too, the waiter checked on us several times and made me feel at home. I ordered the Jak's Cheeseburger and my husband got the Boneless Ribeye. We also got some Calamari Steak Crisps which are 100% my favorite thing now. They also gave us sourdough bread with butter and man that was super warm and fluffy. Will I come back, yes sir.

Came in for dessert and cocktails. Great bartender. Great cocktails. The peach cobbler could do with a little more flavor but it could be the whiskey messing with my pallet.

A little surprised at the reviews after dining here. It presents itself as a high-end steak restaurant, as the cheapest cut will set you back just over $40. The steak was ordered medium rare and it came very well done - it was tough and chewy. The wife ordered the fried chicken which was way overcooked and dry. The service was good and our waitress was great. The food would have been good as well if it was half the price - for the prices you're much better off going to John Howie.

The food was amazing, especially the dry-aged meat for 2 and the garlic mashed potatoes, the boneless ribeye was also great. Was not a huge fan of the Mac and cheese. Our server was nice and very welcoming. Calamari was good and game in a big portion

We came here for a late lunch after a hike in North Bend area. We loved the service. The staff was absolutely delightful. The appetizers we ordered were excellent in terms of taste, texture and presentation: Dungeness crab cakes ($28, 2 small cakes, quite expensive!!!), bacon wrapped scallops ($29, 3 pieces), jumbo prawns with ancho chili ($31, 6 prawns). We then ordered steaks, various types. At first half of the steaks came out well done while we ordered medium. The waiting staff was happy to take them back and they prepared for us new plates, including the side dishes. This second round was worth waiting for. The manager even took off the prawns from the check for the inconvenience. All in all, this restaurant is in the expensive side but it was worth it.

We have been wanting to try this place for quite some time and finally decided to give it a go for our wedding anniversary dinner. Made a reservation for a specific time and we’re seated promptly. We noticed it was quite cold in the building . I had ordered a filet mignon with mashed potatoes and I really wanted mushrooms , got brussel sprouts instead and they were out of mushrooms. The server mentioned that a lot of people liked the sprouts but I didn’t care for them so they went to my husband. The steak and potatoes were very good. Service was attentive.

We went for my husband's birthday we both got steak with their potato cakes, my husband got an old fashioned, I got a virgin strawberry mojito, we got my one year old chicken strips. Then we got a berry tart and their chocolate cake for dessert. The food was delicious, the drinks were delicious, and the staff was amazing. They were fawning over my son, and he had the best time, which also resulted in us having a great time. It is pricey, but the quality of the food alone makes it absolutely worth the price, and the staff makes it even better! We plan on making this our go to for special occasions.

Last night was my husband and my first time at Jak’s and it did not disappoint! Our server, Jeremy, was really helpful in his recommendations and everything we had that he suggested was amazing! I got the 8oz filet mignon. I like steak, but I LOVED this one. The flavors were amazing! We went for my husband’s birthday and we were stuffed by the end of our meal and Jeremy offered a complimentary dessert for the birthday, we said no because of how full we were, so he brought it out in a to go container! Everything we had (bone in rib-eye, filet mignon, calamari, drinks) was great and I would come back again. We had reservations on a Tuesday night at 8:30pm and got there early and it was packed. Definitely make reservations ahead of time!

A nice experience at a sort of out of the way steak house. Excellent specialty drinks. Their "Steak Sandwich" is just a steak on bread. And it's delicious. I didn't try any of their higher end steak options but I wish I had. I'm sure they're just as good.

If you are looking for a low-key, casual, (and don’t let the word “casual” get in the way of this restaurant being absolutely on par, with deliciousness!). You have found it. Situated at the end of downtown Issaquah, Jak’s is a neighborhood favorite. The portions are perfect, not too big, and certainly not dainty, the steaks will melt in you mouth, and the warm bread never gets old. The service “old school” fantastic, and without sounding cliche, I feel like family every time I come through the door. Jak’s nails it every time, and I promise you won’t be disappointed …. Just remember the “wait” is worth it, so grab a martini 🍸 enjoy the vibe and love who you are with.

Amazing food! Great environment and super nice staff. I can now understand why the prices are crazy. I had the crusted halibut and it was phenomenal!!

Delicious lunch. I had the prime rib dip. Sooo tender and tasty, I had the potato pancakes as my side... if you haven't had the chance - try them! They are crispy on the outside, so creamy-yummy on the inside and well seasoned! Myself and 3 friends had lunch and it was a special-to-us day... by all rights the staff should have kicked us out when the restaurant closed to prep for dinner - but they didn't. They let us continue to talk. A big thank-you to them for their understanding!

As far as steakhouses go, this place is pretty good. Not exceptional, but certainly worth checking out. Food was good, sizable portions, great wine selection, a little pricey, but what steakhouse isn't. I personally don't go out of my way to go here, but if I'm in the area it's certainly a place worth checking out. Point of note, on Mondays they do an amazing prime rib!. Also the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating.

Excellent all around! I had the wedge salad and tried some of the cesar. Both delicious, fresh and varied high quality ingredients. The bone in rib-eye was tender, flavorful and melted in the mouth. I have been to many steak houses and the meat was fantastic here. Top to bottom, I highly recommend Jak’s :-)

Great service and great food before heading to the Village Theatre. Started off with stone fruit and Baratta salad which is highly recommended. Chicken dinner was juicy and accompied by tasty risotto! Wedge salad was dressed perfectly and the filet cooked perfectly with baked potato with the works.

This is truly the best place for great service and great food. I think it's the best steak in Washington hands down. It's a fun environment, that also allows for a meeting setting. There is no way you go wrong here.
