This
is
where
my
family
always
choose
to
stay,
however
I
haven’t
been
back
since
2017.
All
I
can
say
is
that
I
was
disappointed
by
the
service
and
embarrassed
at
how
rundown
the
place
is.
Room
service
was
terrible.
My
room
wasn’t
serviced
until
after
2pm
each
day,
cups
were
wiped
out
with
who
knows
what
dirty
rag
and
still
had
marks
in
them.
Bathroom
basin
was
never
cleaned
the
whole
week
I
was
there,
nor
the
shower.
They
just
made
the
bed
and
lightly
swept
my
floor
(lightly
because
there
was
still
sand
and
hair
on
the
floor
in
places).
They
even
forgot
to
give
me
fresh
towels
on
one
occasion.
Tea
and
coffee
never
replenished,
only
water
was.
The
pool
was
filthy.
Hair
and
bugs
floating
on
the
surface,
the
paint
is
chipping
off
as
is
the
top
layer
of
the
pool
so
big
chunks
are
missing.
The
walls
of
the
pool
were
turning
green
and
everyone
was
complaining
that
the
water
was
like
a
hot
bath.
I
only
saw
it
get
cleaned
once
which
was
at
the
end
of
my
week
long
stay
and
I’m
not
sure
that
the
guy
even
knew
what
he
was
doing.
Seemed
like
a
lot
of
staff
was
rostered
on
every
day,
but
nobody
was
doing
any
actual
work.
Staff
just
meandered
around
the
motel
with
a
cloth
wiping
down
a
random
pole
or
a
mop
&
bucket
mopping
one
tile,
lots
roaming
around
on
their
phones
or
else
converging
together
behind
trees,
buildings,
doors
to
chit
chat.
They
didn’t
even
pretend
to
look
busy.
They
have
one
washing
machine
and
dryer
for
guests
to
use.
However,
be
warned
it’s
10
tala
a
token
to
use
the
machines
for
30mins
and
10
tala
for
a
standard
size
snaplock
bag
of
laundry
powder,
which
is
absolutely
ridiculous
because
I
had
enough
powder
for
two
weeks
of
washing,
but
I
only
needed
to
do
one
load.
What
they
should
do
is
offer
much
smaller
sized
bags
for
2
tala.
I’m
aware
of
how
much
financial
support
NZ
and
Australia
put
into
Samoa
to
support
the
growth
of
their
tourism
and
hospitality,
so
I
found
the
lack
of
work
ethic
and
hospitality
knowledge
of
staff
embarrassing.
Safe
to
say,
this
will
be
the
last
time
I
will
stay
here,
as
well
as
my
family
who
used
to
love
coming
to
this
place
for
years.
