Samoa and Sinalei Reef Resort has just become my favourite place to stay for a Pacific Island holiday. The grounds and pool and beach were beautiful. Every meal I had was delicious. But it was the staff that was the icing on the cake. They were amazing. Tammy and Joe thanks for making us feel so welcome. Will definitely be back!!

Out of the 4 different accomodations we had on our trip, Sinalei was the best. We had a garden room (last room available) and it was beautiful. Stand-alone villas at a very reasonable price. They have gorgeous outdoor-like bathrooms. The staff were amazing. Miller and Tasi were amazing at their jobs - we loved to get to know Samoa through their stories. The pool was relaxing, quiet and tranquil. The view was spectacular all day and in the evenings. You can get massage in a Bungalow that looks over the water. The beaches were incredible and had a good vibe along the whole stretch of coastline. Finally, the gardens were my incredible. Walking throughout the resort, I felt in awe of all the beautiful trees, flowers and birds. This is the best resort 😀

We spent a wonderful 6 nights at this beautiful beach resort. What an awesome experience. Fabulous grounds kept immaculate, with a beautiful pool for relaxing on those hot days. Stayed in a Beach Villa which had all the facilities required for a relaxed stay with a very comfortable bed. The staff were fantastic - very friendly, and caring and always happy and really went the extra mile for us. We loved joshing with them. Ernest and his wife Bim were just so welcoming. They do a splendid job. The food was all lovely. Loved the fresh fruits at breakfast. We enjoyed some lovely spa treatments pampered by the ladies at the Spa right on the beach front listening to the waves. Attending the local church service was on Sunday was another highlight for us. We loved Samoa and doing a day trip exploring the island. Trevor & Robyn

We finished our Samoa trip with a couple of nights in a Beach Front Villa and we were so glad we did! What a spot! The staff were excellent and learned our names on the first day. The chef made special effort to prepare delicious vegan meals - the first and only time I was able to eat my preferred diet in Samoa. It was clear that the staff and owner take great pride in their work and they all appeared to have a great relationship...the waiters broke out into spontaneous song and dance during dinner. This place has a relaxed, quiet, joyful vibe.

Best of the 3 top level resorts we stayed at on both islands. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Good pool. Good cultural night on Wednesdays. No wifi in rooms but could purchase it for the restaurant common areas

We came here for a spontaneous last minute Christmas trip. The resort is so beautiful, beach is nice and rooms are stunning with comfortable bed and great atmosphere. Tasi was an amazing waiter who looked after us. The bar was pretty expensive which we did not realise - $30 for double vodka pineapple so our bar bill sat above $900 for the night and we were told to keep the noise down at 7.30 which put a damper on the night as was very early especially in the holiday season and as we were spending. But it is a beautiful place and community feel so 5 star

Beautiful Place. Spent one night at Sinalei, staff were very friendly. The resort is absolutely gorgeous, sunset view, nice sandy beach. Wished they notified me that their presidential villa was available when I asked for a bigger room. The pool looked a little scary, I thought it was a fish pond at first, but the beach is definitely a win. The garden villa bathroom is stunning and unique. Area is very quiet and peaceful. Faafetai Sinalei! I look forward to booking with you guys again.🫶🏽

Major disappointment due to our previous stays. I can understand how Covid has done some major damage throughout the world but our stay was quite lacking in what this place is supposed to represent. The staff was amazing and top notch as usual. The pool was unusable as they were draining it from some type of muggy substance. We tried to use the paddle boards and kayak but we ended up using the ones with holes in it. We used to jump off at the end of the pier into like a natural well from the ocean floor but the pier is damaged and not repaired for some time. The water pressure on the shower was frustratingly slow and low. Suppose to come with breakfast but you have to pay for eggs, meats, etc other than toast, tea, a few fruits, coffee and some cereals. NO WI-FI! Not what I remembered but I guess they must be still trying to recoup. I will wait and see what they will do before I book another stay.

The hotel's location is nothing short of spectacular. Nestled right on the beachfront on the south side of Upolu, our Beachfront room offers breathtaking views of the Pacific Ocean. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves and watching the sunset over the horizon is an experience that will stay with me forever. The beach is just steps away, making it convenient for water activities, or simply lounging by the sea or if you prefer the resort pool. Samoa still has a ways to go til it hits the mark of polished tourism, but if you accept that it is part of the charm, your stay is relaxed an enjoyable. The hotel offers various activities, including water sports, spa treatments, and guided tours, which adds value to the stay. However, the culinary aspects could be improved to match the overall experience better. While the hotel's dining options were satisfactory, they didn't quite match the overall excellence of the establishment. The food quality was mediocre, and there were times when I felt the menu lacked variety. Additionally, it was disappointing to find that the ingredients for cocktails often ran out. However, the beachfront restaurant's ambiance and views were remarkable, compensating for these culinary hiccups. If you have your own car, it's a great day trip out to the Togitogiga waterfall, To-Sua Trench and Giant Clam Sanctuary (all must-see destinations). In summary, this beachfront hotel on Maninoa is a true paradise. While the food quality may be mediocre and the occasional ingredient shortage for cocktails was a minor hiccup, it didn't detract from the overall experience. If you're willing to overlook these culinary quirks in exchange for a breathtaking location and friendly service, this hotel is still a top-notch choice for a memorable vacation. I look forward to returning for the stunning beachfront experience, hoping that the dining experience will match the rest of this slice of heaven in Samoa.

Arguably still the predominance of locations from a view perspective and now from an owner's perspective as well. The Annandale's are both entrepreneurial in spirit and community-minded at heart. I had the wonderful opportunity to sit with the man behind this realized dream and it was time well spent. Unfortunately, I can't speak of the rooms but the food we had during our meeting was outstanding. Faafetai tele lava Tuātagaloa and Tammy. Humbled to have been able to hang out at your wonderful oasis. Mālõ lava.

We spent three nights in a traditional ocean view villa and had a fantastic time. Fales were clean and well equipped. Resort pool and private beach were excellent. Lovely spa service. Restaurant was good, meals a bit small. Nice breakfast included. Drinks were good. Staff were excellent and helpful. Only thing I would have liked was more of a tour when we checked in as feel like I didn’t get to fully utilise all resort had to offer. Oh and water front restaurant was closed. We stayed during April when children were allowed - as a kid free couple we would come back may-november when it is adults only.

A hidden gem! The place is very breath taking. Mother Nature is so beautiful here. Rooms are very clean and bathroom has a beautiful roof top of nature. Place is well maintained and staff are super hospitable.
