The customer service provided by David and team was second to none! The fish and shrimp platter and breakfast was excellent. Room #11 accommodated myself and my 2 brothers nicely during our hunting trip. We’ll see you guys next year.

What a gem! RV sites, camping, and accommodations are solid. The hours vary based on the day of the week and are seasonal, call ahead to double-check. If you are arriving late, the staff will work with you to make sure you have what you need. The shop has gas and air. The tackle shop is well stocked with all you need to support your fishing adventure. Fresh bait was made available. There was lots of information about local fishing guides. Call ahead for suggestions and assistance planning your trip. There’s a counter order kitchen with a solid menu and a large dining hall. The dining hall is expansive! The AC was great. We spent some time in the hall playing games during the hottest part of the day. I stayed in one of the kitchenette spaces. It was simple, clean, and everything worked. My bed was comfortable and the pillows were great! There are numerous picnic tables and grills around the grounds. The staff was helpful to us and we enjoyed staying here. The prices were very reasonable. There’s a WiFi network throughout the grounds. Cell service is spotty. Dish network TV in the rooms. *This business is very Christ centered. There are bible verses throughout. Honestly, I did feel a little bit nervous and was cautious walking up as an LGBTQ+ person given some of the broader rhetoric and State politics. There was nothing that gave me reason to feel unsafe beyond that larger context.

Stayed here for a Club's 2 day tournament, rooms were basic and nice. Outside cooking areas available, plenty of room for your truck & boat with plenty of plugs for charging your batteries. Wifi worked great, and the TV may have been small but it worked! Food was good and they were there on time in the morning for the fishermen. Very quiet, and 1/4 mile from the boat ramp. On a side note, I have stayed all over this state fishing club tournaments and it's rare to run into people who worked so hard to make sure we/everyone was taken care of and were happy if you stayed there or not. Thank you guys for a great stay.

Love this little gem of a place. Owners are so nice and do everything they can to make your stay or trip enjoyable. The staff is top notch and so friendly. David has everything you need for a day on the lake. The store is well stocked. The food is awesome.

For a cozy place to stay when you're fishing Ivie, it's pretty good, although about a quarter mile from the boat launch. There's some small touches they could address and make things better- a little cleaner, replace broken stuff (blinds visibly broken in the room next to us, our towels were ripped/ torn, our toilet float didn't work, no vent in the bathroom, tv remote didn't work). The food in the main check in area is awesome and fairly priced. We had a kitchenette which was a complete waste of an extra ten bucks a day- you get a two burner "stove" but nothing to use on it. No pots, pans, silverware, plasticware, cooking utensils....nada... nothing in the drawers but space. When I booked it there was no BYO STUFF announcement. The basic rooms come with everything else..fridge, microwave. We would stay here again, in a basic room, and bring a floor or box fan. Oh.. the "house cat" is super friendly and was a joy to visit with. But be careful because he'll come in your room unannounced.

If you're looking for some time away from the hustle and bustle of city life this is your place. It is also home of the biggest bass, crappie, and catfish. The people in the marine are the best at making your stay enjoyable.

no one returns your call or email for reservation. Stop by once while at another hotel to check it out, person behind desk struggled to answer simple questions and did not want to take us on a tour. 1 week out and still no return call
