Great location in Southtown, just off of Cesar Chavez, and close to public parking. Come to Southtown and hit this place for sure. Great salads, wine selections, and their wood fire oven pizzas are amazing. It is all about the dough, baby. I had an old fashioned the last time I was here. The staff is friendly and the interior is sleek and modern. Great playlist and a must for dining alone or with a group of friends. You won’t find this gem on Open Table because they don’t take reservations. Come early and walk right in and then do your own pub/dessert crawl. La Foccacia down the street has awesome carrot cake and Rosario’s has chocolate flan. Being here isn’t about rushing; it is about enjoying the experience of the food - smells, mouth-feel, and visual appeal.

Passed by this place many times, so decided to give them a try on a Friday evening. It was early, so only 2 of the about 8 tables inside were occupied. Service was immediate and very friendly. Since it was my first time here, the server explained their menu and specials. Started off with the queso fundido and a few drinks. The drinks were good, but the fundido was the hit. It was perfect for sharing and wasn't heavy at all. It was good, so ordered another one, but can't remember the name. It was a salsa verde, with a soft cheese, topped with cilantro, and served with small tortillas on the side. Surprisingly, this was even better than the queso fundido. The combination of the salsa verde and soft cheese inside the tortilla was perfect. Lastly, ordered the baked brie which was just as good. Can't go wrong with any of the skillet cheese appetizers. For the meal, ordered their new pizza, the Los Cuates and another pizza from the menu. I was a little hesitant about the Los Cuates since it's topped with al pastor and pineapple. However, was pleasantly surprised as the al pastor was very tasty and the pineapple wasn't too sweet. Both pizzas were cooked perfectly in the brick oven and wood fire. They were thin and had a nice crispy char on the crust. For dessert, had the flan and dessert pizza which was nutella and strawberry. Enoyed the flan as it had a smooth, creamy texture that wasn't overly sweet. The dessert pizza was a little too sweet for my liking, but wasn't bad. Overall, this was a nice restaurant with a really nice ambiance. Good food and service. Will try to come back next time when they have live music.

We randomly walked across this restaurant on a downtown excursion and I am extremely happy that we did! Our time at this restaurant amounts to one of the best culinary/drinking experiences I've had (a sentiment shared amongst the group that I went with) and definitely the best spot in San Antonio so far. We started with Wine, Tapas and Pizza and moved on the bar in the back. We finished out on the patio with some Cigars and Old fashions. The manager, Eric, was awesome and crafted some of the best mixed drinks I've had (not exaggerating). He continued to give us excellent recommendations throughout the night. Check it out!

Where do I start? Hear me out, al pastor pizza! Yep, it sounds totally odd! But it’s beyond delicious, they have a brick oven and the pizza comes out perfect (non-pictured, a margarita pizza also perfect); we ordered the Baked Brie and it was just as I like it, crusty, meaty, goey. And special mention to the Tequila Old-Fashioned! (And non-pictured, a delicious flan!) Eric, Unsure if he is the owner/chef or Bartender in chief, but he said he made the menu (again unsure if the whole menu or the drink menu, I should’ve asked… my bad), obviously great at recommending drinks! Carlos, welcomed us at the door (you have to wait for them to open and let you in, it makes it feel very exclusive). Lilly, beyond amazing her service is impeccable and was always checking on us (well, all 3 to be honest) she deserves a raise! :) I travel a lot for work and I only review places that I really love, this is one of them, it really made an impression, it’s not touristy, feels very exclusive, delicious and has great service. Definitely coming back on my next San Antonio trip!

This is a tiny place but extremely picturesque. Great date place. We tried a charcuterie and the goat cheese and the pizza. Cocktails were intentional and well balanced. I lived the cucumber margarita and pineapple mexcal drink which was smoky and delicious. The carnitas pizza was not liked by my party because of the tomatillo sauce it was not working with the other toppings. Everything else was really great.

Entering the restaurant is odd- wait outside to gain entry. Small/limited seating. Romantic dimly lit atmosphere. Pizza was very good - We had the PPP. Baked Brie was amazing. Cucumber Margarita awesome! We will return!

I love this place!! Beautiful, classy ambiance at a more than reasonable price. This place is easily overlooked and seriously underrated. We had a delicious pizza over an intimate dinner with yummy cocktails and dessert for New Years Eve and I'm so glad we did. I can't wait to go back and REALLY splurge as well as take some time to enjoy their Backroom Bar. In the past I've brought friends here for a cigar and they really enjoyed the experience. Indoor and outdoor seating, both are great. Chef came out to check on us, customer service was great. Highly recommend.

Eating here is a delight. You can have your way on italian or contemporary specialties. They are very good about serving you a fresh and delicious brick oven pizza. Our experience was great, service is friendly and food was made right in front of us.

Arrived with my service dog. They asked for proof of his certification which is against the law. I went back to my vehicle to get the certification card and they had me waiting outside for over 5 min. I showed them the proof but I was still turned away. Very disappointed. I use to come from time to time but now I will not be back.

Excited to come back, but service and operations was lacking. Staff on the phone was polite, but the waitress was very sharp and passive aggressive. Hopefully, this was because she was new. Unfornately, they don't take reservations. Not sure if that would help address people waiting outside and then giving up entirely because they either got told to wait outside when no one came to let them know. Other nearby business take people's number and let them know when they are available again. Food was good the first time. And management, clapping back to your reviews reflects poorly.

I can’t even begin to start as to what this place means to me. Food is amazing from the tapas to the pizza, fresh cut veggies and high quality meats. Perfectly cooked to my preference on a beautiful wood oven. The smell and ambiance makes you feel you are in a different city. The owner is around checking on quality and refill refreshments always open to suggestions.Large quantity of wines to choose from. A cigar shop right above to mellow out your stomach of being full. Full bar behind to choose From a variety of drinks. 10/10 for experience and taste. Me and my wife go very often to please ourselves. I’ll be back soon!!

This is an amazing bar/restaurant. The atmosphere is incredible and I highly recommend sitting on the patio. There is even a cigar bar upstairs. The bartender, Claudio, made amazing drinks. Also very reasonably priced for south town!
