My partner and I dined here a few days ago, and we had an excellent experience. In my reservation I left a note requesting the possibility of vegan accommodations, as I had seen other reviews discussing how wonderful they had been with accomodations in the past. When confirming my reservation they mentioned that they would have some items available. We were so pleased to know that there was a dish available for each course. We were beyond satisfied with our experience, and we will definitely be back.

Great dining experience at Bliss. Made same day dinner reservations with no problem. The staff was welcoming and we started the night off with some delicious fresh bread and butter. Their arugula salad was fresh and had a great blend of textures and flavors. They made a wonderful charcuterie board with different meats, cheeses, and accompaniments to choose from. My boyfriend’s quail dish had one piece not thoroughly cooked well enough but the waitress and chef quickly remade the dish and we did not have to wait long at all. The Chocolate bar was nice as well. The coffee gelato complimenting the dish had nice deep coffee flavors to it as well. Enjoyable dining experience, would love to come back again next time we visit town!

To keep it short and sweet, this place lives up to it's name. The food was delicious and the service was on point. Outdoor dining available with fans. Our server was very knowledgeable and truly made our visit a full dining experience. They did offer some items that were off menu. Give this place a chance and try something that you would not usually try. I guarantee that you will leave very satisfied. One last thing, they do make everything to order so you know it's fresh Enjoy y'all!

Had my birthday dinner here and it did not disappoint!! The bone marrow tartar was my favorite!! I could have had two to myself. Both fish dishes were delicious! You can’t go wrong with the kale salad! And the cake was scrumptious! I can’t wait to go back!

There are not many restaurants who give you fantastic service, food and ambiance all at the same time. Celebrating a birthday we had a reservation of 9. We were promptly seated with a called in reservation no matter how many people from the party were present. We were immediately greeted by the best waiter, Marcie! She and attending staff took care of all of us and the manager Dorian came by more than once to tank us for joining and celebrating at Bliss. The food was amazing! Im vegan and was offered an off menu veggie platter the chef would throw together which was quite a treat! Other restaurants offer a salad but I feel they went beyond the usual for us. People say this restaurant is over priced but I say you get what you pay for. The service is outstanding, staff so friendly and the outdoor patio so welcoming. Also go see Marcie, she's amazing!

What a memorable dinner. Outstanding service from all staff, especially our server Mercedes. We had the Oyster Sliders (would've never thought this would be a good choice but they did not disappoint) and the Octupus (so tender and the crispy potatoes complemented so well). Entrees were the scallops and the red snapper. Both were soooo good and tasty but the scallops were better. The goat cheese cheesecake was so creamy and delicious. Thank you Bliss!

First time at Bliss on a Saturday evening. Had a reservation and was seated promptly. Great service and lively busy vibe. Had a glass of the Fragile Rose, lovely delicate wine. Very tasty oysters sliders, flaky biscuit. The Branzino was FANTASTIC! I would and will come back for that dish, flavorful, light, citrusy with crunchy bits. The Red Snaper is also delicious, very savory. The Citrus Tart is a fairly new addition. Very refreshing finish. Beautiful restaurant. Classy but not stuffy, everyone was courteous and friendly.

We celebrated our anniversary there and the food was absolutely delicious! Only downside is they only serve wine and beer, no cocktails. They were very accommodating to my request ( I had dietary restrictions) I told them that it was okay if it wasn’t possible but they were amazing about it and allowed me to change some items. The tuna appetizer was my absolute favorite and there is nothing they could have done differently to make it any more perfect! The dessert was warm and delicious I would highly recommend this place!

This place lives up to its name and reputation! The service was lovely. Justin did a fantastic job with dinner service. The oysters, braised beef short ribs, and gulf red snapper were out of this world. The red snapper dish was the best dish I have eaten ever (including US, Canada, Italy, and Taiwan). It was complex and beautifully balanced. Bliss is second to none!

This place is phenomenal. We went for the second time, and it was 10 out of 10, just like the first time. It happened to be restaurant week, so we went ahead and picked our items from that portion of the menu. We went with the arugula salad, beef tenderloin, Mediterranean branzino, pumpkin cheesecake, and the butter cake. Everything was done to perfection. I'm not big into sweets or deserts, but the pumpkin cheesecake was outstanding. Bliss has exceptional service, top-notch food, and a great selection of fine wine. They do not have cocktails/liqour due to being within a couple hundred feet of a school/church, but you can actually bring your own if you wanted to. The outdoor area is lovely as well, so keep that in mind for when the weather is nice.

Had a wonderful meal in an an upscale, but inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed their white and rose wine selection. The watermelon salad was a great start for a summer meal, and the scallops with risotto and spinach was one of the best dishes I’ve had in quite some time. Nothing was left to be desired. Lico was a wonderful server, and the back servers were very polite, well spoken, and efficient.

Wow! This restaurant is on top of our list for fine dining now. Their reserve wine list is pricey but definitely worth it! We got the bone marrow for appetizer that went well with our cabarnet along with our ahi ceviche appetizer and better than wagyu steak (rib-eye cut) entree (both were off the menu) were phenomenal! We truly enjoy our dinner especially when you let the waiter, like Brett, make recommendations on any pairing from your fave wine.... it will not disappoint! 5-star all the way!

Drinks, appetizers, main course, and dessert, all of it was spectacular with even better service. We love exploring the city on mommy/daddy date nights, this is a spot we will definitely be returning to.

Such an amazing restaurant! I put down the reason for our reservation was our anniversary, and the waiter congratulated us on our anniversary and even put a candle on our desserts for us to blow out and celebrate! It was a small detail but it made our visit so personal and intimate. Our waiter was also very good at making sure all of our questions were answered and helped us chose wines to pair with our main courses. I would recommend this place to anyone who wants to try amazing food with a great atmosphere! Review of the food: -We had the arugula salad and charred octopus for our appetizers and they were both DELICIOUS! I’ve never liked octopus until I had theirs! It was so tender and perfectly seasoned! The arugula salad came with dried figs and they were such a great addition to the appetizer and gave it a sweet note to the peppery arugula. -We ordered the braised beef short ribs and scallops for our main course and they were just as amazing! The scallops were buttery and so well cooked, and the ribs were so tender and juicy! The ribs came with buttery mashed potatoes and mushrooms that were pan fried to perfection! The scallops came with cooked spinach and grits that were seasoned perfectly as well! For dessert we had the butter cake and chocolate bar and it was a perfect end to our date! The chocolate bar was rich and smooth with mousse and some sea salt sprinkled on top to make the dark chocolate flavor pop, and it came with a scoop of coffee ice cream as a palette cleanser for when the chocolate cake got too rich. The butter cake was like an apple pie cake and came with a scoop of ice cream on top which made it the most warm and cozy dessert to enjoy!

AMAZING!!!! One of the best overall experiences I’ve had a restaurant. The host Mercedes was so sweet and accommodating - people like her makes a difference in the service industry! Our waiter Brett was also so pleasant and knowledgeable. We ordered 3 apps, the hamachi (4/5), beef tartare (3/5), and their mushroom special (5/5). For our entrees, short rib (4/5), scallops (5/5) and the duck&foie (4/5). Topped it off with the butter cake for dessert (4/5). This place is definitely a gem and would definitely drive 3 hours to eat here again!

Absolutely Delicious!! The service was top notch and the food was AMAZING! Our server made wonderful suggestions based on our answers to her questions. We had the Braised Beef Rib and it just melted in your mouth. Everything was so good including dessert. My husband had the Butter Cake and I had the Triple Chocolate Bar (flourless cake). So good we almost forgot to take pictures. The atmosphere is a mixture of modern elegance and they had free parking on site. We highly recommend this place, it may be expensive but worth every penny!

Great atmosphere, great food, & great service. Their outside seating is great & they even provide you with those fans that keep bugs away! Everything we ate was delicious and the waiter was very knowledgeable and made great suggestions. Will definitely be returning.

We're fortunate to have a restaurant like Bliss in San Antonio. This establishment remains a local favorite. Each visit here is consistently outstanding, and the staff consistently exceeds expectations in creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Whether it's a romantic date night, a celebratory dinner, or a special occasion, this place never fails to impress. My go-to is reserving a seat at the bar and indulging in Oysters accompanied by a couple of glasses of Champagne. Here's to many more memorable moments at Bliss - "Cheers!"

The food is fabulous and consistent. We’ve been quite a few times and it’s always delicious! The tenderloin is one of my favorites but honestly I’ve loved every dish I’ve had. Also, the service is excellent! The wait staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and they are great about serving you without being bothering you. I really appreciate the owners coming by to check and make sure that everything is perfect and we are comfortable and happy with the food. Such a refreshing experience and I highly recommend it!!

A must visit place when in San Antonio. Amazing service and attention to detail make the whole experience superb. Food is so delicious! We had branzino and short ribs. I highly recommend.

The food was amazing. My wife had the charcuterie board and I had the braised short ribs. The ribs literally melted in your mouth and the candied carrots were something new to me and were delicious. The best part about this place is the staff. Maricela was friendly and knowledgeable and the entire staff was very friendly and very attentive (any time our water glasses were less than half full, someone was there filling it - within seconds. I loved that!) Highly recommend as a MUST when visiting San Antonio
