The Magician Agency Theatre is a must to attend while visiting San Antonio. Mom & I had a wonderful time. David Kovac mixes comedy & magic for an amazing experience. The staff & magicians were fantastic. Thanks for an awesome experience.

I took my two children to The Magicians Agency Theatre this afternoon and I was pleasantly surprised by how much fun we had! Everyone we interacted with, from the owner, Scott Pepper, who came and introduced himself to us, to the nice man who passed out the popcorn and drinks was wonderfully friendly and really seemed to enjoy being there. When the main show began, we were delighted by the magic of Keith Fields. He is a funny man and very engaging with the audience and his magic keeps you wondering. My daughter was thrilled to be asked to participate on stage with him, which made the show even more enjoyable for us. A fantastic time time was had by all and this is was the best way to spend a summer afternoon with my children.

Excellent show! The staff is so friendly and accommodating. There is free popcorn, water, and a fun scavenger hunt before the show. Also, a magician performing tricks at the magic shop inside. I have been here twice and will definitely be back! Great for kids too!

If you’re looking for an AMAZING and yes dare I say… ✨magical ✨ evening, go here. It’s great solo, with friends, a date, or with the whole family! We had a wonderful time seeing Scott Pepper (also the owner) perform last night. It was so fun, engaging, and super interactive. He loves what he does and even spends time with the audience after, our son is ready to learn his own tricks now. 😉👍They always have different acts going through the year, and the building itself is historical and filled with interesting items for magic nerds like us and even scavenger hunts to explore the venue before and after the show. ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT, and we’ll for sure be back. Also✨huge props to the staff member that greets you when you come in! By the time we got into the elevator we were absolutely HYPED for the show. They deserve all the stars!

Scott Pepper's show was incredible! Scott is a true artist and it is evident that he loves his craft. As soon as I walked in the building I noticed how thoughtfully and beautifully designed it was. It created a sense of mystery in the way magic moves us and served to prepare us all for the show. We took my 9 year old daughter and her friend for her birthday and she loved it! Absolutely fun and exciting for the family. Thank you Scott, Paul, and all those that worked that evening to give us a truly memorable experience. Bravo!

My son and I had a great time. The magician was funny, engaging and talented. This is a great family-friendly experience. The show lasted an hour, the theater had an intimate, chill vibe and they served free popcorn and they had various beverages for sale. I’m so glad we learned about this show and purchased our tickets online. I would highly recommend purchasing the VIP tickets (we were in the front row) and it was worth every penny!

Lots of family fun. Took our family of four and both our boys, 14 and 10 years old, loved it. I would recommend getting there early for the pre magic close up experience—-our boys really loved this. It seemed to me that VIP tickets are worth it as they have a better view. We did not have the VIP tickets and our view was good, but I wished I had bought the VIP tickets . We bought a magic kit bag that was also a big hit with my kids. It came with several magic tricks that my kids instantly started to play with when we came home. My dad has a birthday coming up and we plan on bringing him as I know he would be in awe of all of the illusions. We highly recommend this place!

This building has a lot of history! It is 4 stories, so you do take an elevator upstairs. (It is tiny, but sturdy!) I did not noticed if there was a separate stairs route, although I'm fairly positive there is. They are very accommodating and personable. The only times my daughters eyes weren't glued to the magic, was when they were checking to see my reactions. 😆 I originally planned this for my husband, as he loves magic, but it quickly turned into something for the whole family. I'm not sure I remember a time my jaw had dropped that much. The shop for after the show is small but they take the time to show you how to use ANYTHING you buy. The owner, Scott, personally took the time to teach my daughter how to use the gem wand. It was not a short lesson and they are extremely patient and kind. I have nothing but good things to say. I wish I had gotten more photos! I guess we'll just have to go back to get more. 🤷‍♀️ We'll have to catch the owners show next! Thank you all so much!

The best magic show! Me and my family had an amazing time. We laughed till our bellies hurt and was so mesmerized by the magic. They have a awesome one on one time an hour before the show starts. We received complimentary popcorn and drinks. It felt so welcoming. My kids got some very reasonably priced magic items. Now they are practicing to become magicians. I will definitely be back!!

From the minute the door opened the staff and magicians took care of everyone! They were great. There is complimentary popcorn and soda, and beer and wine for purchase. For the hour before the show, Matt entertained with slight of hand magic...and he was so good. Then Scott hit the stage and he was.. magical. He had the audience in the palm of his hands! He got the audience involved and when it was over, we cheered for his wonderful performance. Well worth the price of admission!

Had a great time! We stay in Downtown San Antonio fairly regularly. We will absolutely be back! This round was myself, my husband and our 8 & 14 year olds. Everyone had a blast! The admission price also includes free popcorn and free sodas/lemonade. They also have traveling magicians, so a pretty good variety and easy opportunity to see different performances. Definitely recommend for all ages!!

I went a few weeks ago Christmas weekend. The show was great, and the magic was fantastic! Really enjoyed it. I went with my grandmother, wife, and mom. My grandma was in a wheelchair. We had to go up an elevator (through a hidden spot in the neighboring mirror maze?!) Honestly that all kind of added to the intrigue of the place. Anyway, I was amazed at how accomodating and personable all the staff were, from the moment we walked in. I don't think I've gotten that level of service or attention ANYWHERE. All the people there went out of their way to make sure me, my wife, grandma, and mom got settled in before the show. I was really impressed. Not to mention the magic show itself! I could tell that Scott Pepper was very passionate about making sure that people enjoyed themselves and was invested in the entire experience, from beginning to end. He even took the time to talk to each group on their way out and explained some of the history of the building and the his magic show. Hope this place continues to do well. Would easily recommend!

My husband and I went here last night and it was amazing! Scott Pepper was interactive with the crowd, had a lot of hilarious jokes and mind blowing magic. The venue has a bar, a magician shop, fun photo booth illusions and up close magic with a magician before and after the show. I loved the atmosphere and the staff was friendly and attentive. It was a fun date night and what’s cool is all ages can come! My husband and I definitely recommend this agency and we cannot wait to make a trip back!

We took my son to San Antonio for a 10th birthday trip. He’s into magic and I came across this place on Google so I decided to book a show while we were there. We saw Scott Pepper and he was phenomenal. He had us not only in awe of his magic, but also laughing pretty much the entire time. The entire staff was fantastic. They offer a pre-show and scavenger hunt an hour before show time. They also give out free popcorn and water and have other items for purchase. We paid extra for the front row seats and it was well worth it. All 3 of us got to be part of the show and even got to take home souvenirs. I highly recommend visiting if you are in the are. It exceeded our expectations.

This was such a fun time!!!! I would recommend to anyone to come here if they want to be amazed, to laugh or to just have fun! They provide some free refreshments and it’s an all around good time. Everyone is so kind and personable. Scott Pepper was amazing! Highly recommend!! We will be back for sure!

We went and saw Magician Harry Maurer. We had an absolute blast! The magic was so neat to watch! Harry did a great job entertaining the crowd, and surprising us with each illusion! Paul had some really fun up close magic that the kiddos really enjoyed participating in. Scott, the owner showed us a couple tricks as well, that were so fun! All of the magicians were hilarious, talented, and so friendly! We will definitely go back! Such a neat experience! And so fun!

Our family night at the Magician's Agency was AWESOME!! The location is convenient to restaurants and the restored theater is unbelievable. Be sure to come early or stay late to wander into the quaint museum. The warm-up acts of Magicians Paul Mims and Scott Pepper (owner) were hilarious and mesmerizing. The headliner Matt Marcy was straight from Los Angeles and a major talent for such an intimate seating. The drinks were refreshing and the free popcorn was a nice touch. A close-up magician performed free close-up magic and offered inexpensive magic tricks for those wannabe Houdinis. We will return many times. My kids, including teenagers, were treated to live entertainment at an affordable price. FYI: I recommend spending a little more for the VIP. All of the seats are wonderful, but it's hard to beat FRONT ROW!!!

Loved our experience here! From the moment we walked in the door, the team was amazing, the space was incredible (the freshly popped popcorn didn't hurt!) and the entertainment was so high-quality. We went when they had Blake Vogt in and we were thoroughly impressed and entertained. Looking forward to more!

This was a wonderful experience. My tween and teen sons love magic (so does their dad). I am not a fan! I was not really looking forward to this but the venue was very very cool, the staff and magicians were entertaining and friendly. We loved the 2 hours we spent there. The first hour before the show we did a scavenger hunt in the building, munched complimentary popcorn and watched close up magic tricks, then enjoyed the 1 hour show. I can't recommend this highly enough, even if you aren't a magic lover. Great show, nice evening, well worth the reasonable ticket cost.

Last Minute decision to come to the show PAID OFF! Our group of five, ages 6 to 49(?) we’re all amused, amazed, and entertained! The entire staff was friendly, helpful, and seemed happy to be part of our experience. This is an intimate setting, everyone has the chance to participate and feel part of the show. Great venue, well thought out production, and excellent performances by all. Did I mention POPCORN AND SODAS INCLUDED WITH ADMISSION?!?! Good work Scott Pepper and Company! We’ll see you again soon!

This is such a fun experience! This is our 3rd time and each time it's different. Scott, the owner of the Magician's Agency show, brought his international talent as a magician and delightful showman to San Antonio seven years ago to present a unique experience to the famous Riverwalk downtown area. Housed in an old 1800's multi floor bar, he presents a stage show with audience participation, a close-up show (card tricks), and/or a scavenger hunt throughout the 4 story building. It's worth the few extra dollars to be seated on the first 2 rows, but he engages the entire audience. Outside magician talent is brought in many times during the year. Great entertainment for the whole family if you love magic!!

Scott is a delightful man and has a fine group of friendly and enthusiastic people working with him! We so enjoyed the show with David Kovak! Paul opened, Reed showed us some up close magic after the show!! The theater itself is stunning! Make seeing a show here a priority on your list of things to do in San Antonio!!

The whole experience was awesome the atmosphere was inviting, there was free popcorn and drinks (sodas)! Magician Pepper engaged with his audience during the magic show! They had a side booth to show off simple card tricks for the kids while ushers were seating people. They hung around after words to talk to everyone. My teenage boys had a blast! I would highly recommend this place. It’s right next to the Mirror Maze, worked out perfectly!
