👍👍 Such a beautiful church, I wasn’t planning to make a stop here when I was driving by, it caught my attention so I decided to take a look. It was completely empty but calming. Very quiet and soothing, it was definitely a lovely experience. I plan to come again soon. People often mention beautiful, church, Beautiful, visit, love, mass, architecture,

Blessed to have been able to visit! ❤️ Strongly recommend it. From an architectural perspective, gorgeous, worth the visit, and comparable to some of the basilicas I visited in Spain, and from a Catholic and spiritual perspective, my heart was moved.

I’ve visited at least a few times, beautiful architecture. They are still renovating & it looks better than I remember. It’s an older church so it has great arches. Even if you’re not religious, it’s a lovely place to visit to enjoy the ambiance.

I am not Catholic, so I can't tell you about their religious service, but this is one beautiful church. It is often ignored by visitors, as it is outside the downtown area. If you love architecture, then you will love this place. I haven't explored inside, but I hear it is equally beautiful inside and has amazing stained glass and paintings.

Beautiful shrine for Saint Therese the Little Flower. Be sure to see the painting her youngest sister painted in her honor for her beatification. The beautiful painting is massive and almost floor-to-ceiling. It's located in the basement of the church.

I love exploring different Churches in San Antonio, and this one takes the cake as far as beauty. Never have I been to such a gorgeous Church before! Not only is the architecture breath taking, you feel like you're going back in time to the old Church days. I don't usually go to this Church for Mass or confession, but the one time I went to confession it was truly fulfilling and I could tell the priest cares about his congregation. If you are looking for a Church to visit or to attend to, I suggest going here. The artwork and architecture alone really brings out the spirit of God in the Catholic faith :)

Beautiful historic Basilica on the west side off Culebra. Went to an ecumenical service of Lessons and Carols presented by Musica Sacra and Northwood Presbyterian Church. Beautiful music in holy surroundings.

Extremely beautiful church with a great history. Highly recommend checking out the tours that the secular order puts on, great and informative tour. Everyone that can should donate to the church’s restorative fund.

Beautiful experience. Went for the tour and to see the relics explained by a group of lay Carmelites who shared so much information about the history and Carmelite spirituality. They also have a store right behind the church . It's a little piece of Heaven dedicated to a great Saint.

It was a pleasure to see such a beautiful Basicilla and get to attend a mass while we were on vacation. Beautiful windows, statues, an all around beautiful church and we were pleased to see it.

The basilica and shrine are beautiful. I didn't realize it was a shrine as well. It's only open between 11am and 1pm. I assume it's because mass is said outside of those times. There is a shop very close that sells a small, but diverse selection including relics. It's very simple and tasteful. They have candles that you can take to the basilica and light. I enjoyed it. Everyone there was very respectful. Please be respectful too.

A beautiful shrine to our Little Flower. A great place to pray or meditate and of course go to Mass.

My significant other and I are coming here more often on the weekends for Mass. 💛🕊 We've attended English and Spanish mass. 🙌 Humbled to listen and understand the word of God. The history of the Basilica is interesting and beautiful. I have always passed by throughout the years but never entered the sacred premises until 2 months ago with my love. When I would pass by from time to time, I always felt this immense and warm love just by looking at the Little Flower of Basilica from a far and when I finally read through the history and attended mass; I understood why.. . I've loved coming here since. 🕊💛🤍💖🥲

It's a beautiful basilica in San Antonio named after St. Teresa of Lisieux of France. A side chapel dedicated to her is worth visiting. The altar is beautiful and it's spectacular around the Christmas time with all the poinsettias. You will feel a wonderful sense of peace and quiet and respected tradition in this sacred church.

This is most definitely the best place to be if you want to feel the presence of Jesus I love going to the church not only for confession but also just to pay a visit, love the old communion rails the way all churches used to be like when the priest was the only one to give communion which I miss in all churches I always felt a closeness when I would receive communion given by a priest to God I also like that they have big christ crucified on the right side of the church where you can kneel before Christ and feel that closeness once again .

We stopped by to see the shrine as an attraction. It is beautiful and worth stopping by to take a closer look. It fits well in the rich history of San Antonio.

Beautiful place to worship & acoustics enhances music & speaking! Built during depression while financing ran dry but people from the nation donated funds to complete the project.
