Commercial Caverns would be a better name. We have been to SEVERAL caves/caverns in multiple areas of the U.S. Our take on the Caverns themselves at Natural Bridge Caverns were wonderful and we truly enjoyed seeing them. Everything else about the visit left much to be desired. The walkways and paths into and out of the caverns are very nice, be mindful that they're quite steep if you plan to tour. I'm not knocking them for this, just awareness if you plan to visit. The tour itself consists of multiple "tour guides" staged throughout the caverns to elaborate on that portion. Wasn't a bad idea compared to having a single tour guide IMO, BUT...... THEY NEED TO WAIT ON THE ENTIRE GROUP AND SLOW DOWN WHEN TALKING!!!!!!!! We were towards the latter part of our group, and I honestly don't think I could tell you three sentences from the guides. Again, we really enjoyed the Caverns themselves....everything else was a complete turnoff for us. Overall takeaway is that I felt like I was in a tourist trap with prices comparable to major theme parks. Seemed like we were rushed through so the next herd could get in, get out, and make way for the others. For a family of three to do the combo tour and ropes course it would be nearly $300 dollars........ We WON'T be back! Too many other attractions in the area to go broke here!

One word, amazing. The place is well kept with clean and maintained facilities above ground with plenty of staff to help guide and direct. The caverns themselves were amazing. The different formations, structures, colors were all awesome to see. The path and railings were sturdy with no issues or concerns along the way with lighting that really complemented the natural formations. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and he was easy to hear and understand. If you're interested in caverns or caves at all I highly recommend you check this out.

This was one of the most amazing caverns I’ve been to. I like that it is family owned and operated. I did the discovery tour and that is currently $27-30 depending on what day of the week you go. It’s an hour long so I recommend wearing good sneakers. It’s about 70 degrees inside the cavern. Our tour guide was very informative and knowledgeable. If you’re not in shape, disabled, or an older adult, I would skip this as it can get strenuous at times. If you think you can do it, then all the more power to you.

Amazing experience indeed this is one of the "world premier show caverns, and one of the most attraction in Texas". 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Good for families, has other activities for kids of all ages. Bought the discovery tour pass for around $30 online. Took around 1 hour. Tour starts on time. Need good walking shoes because there are natural water formations on the ground, can be slippery. Has good hand rails for steep areas. We had no problem walking the whole cave. but advisory for people who can not walk decline/incline hills and unable to handle humidity. Our tour Gal, she was very knowledgeable & funning. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 Kudos to the whole team: the explorers & planners. The construction and layout for the cavern was very well thought out. Would love to do the hidden passage and adventure explorer next time. Yes!!! highly recommended.

We booked this experience not really knowing what to expect. We were pleasantly surprised with how beautiful the cavern was. I would like to inform others that it is pretty intense physically. It was warm in there with incredibly high humidity. There are ramps with railing, but it can be difficult to navigate going both down an up the extremely steep inclines on the way back out. With that being said, the gift shop was well kept and so are the entire grounds. The cavern was extraordinary and our guides were very professional.

This is a "must do" kind of place. The two tours are so worth it! Both the discovery cavern and the hidden cavern are different enough you'll want to see both. Plenty of free parking, but I still recommend coming earlier in the day so you have time for both tours and the other activities available if you're interested. Definitely book online so you've got your spot guaranteed. Gift shop, several places to eat, plenty of places to stop and rest.

I never seen anything like this before, so I was impressed by the caves. The fact that caves were natural was cool and the history of caves was attention grabbing. The offered 2 tours each which cost $31 per person. One of the tours was hidden path tour (more difficult path but more unique features) and the other discovery tour (family friendly, easy to navigate and good for first timers). We chose the hidden path tour. It was surprisingly warm in the cave about 75-80 degrees and wet so make sure you grab yourself a pair of food shoes prior to entry. The tour lasted about 50 min. You go down deep inside the cave about 180 feet by stairs and then come right back up. So if you have knee or hip problems, or other physical limitations this tour is not for you. Tickets are sold on site there so no need to order online in advance. 4/5 only because the entry is super overpriced for such a short tour. They really commercialized this place. Also, they are still discovering and prolonging the cave and shall finish by March 2023 so there will be a new tour available.

I’ve visited several caverns in the past in multiple states, and I’ve got to say, this is the nicest one I’ve seen in terms of infrastructure and conveniences. They have great parking, well maintained facilities and walkways, a range of others activities and attractions, and food and drinks. The cave tour is well run and interesting (although I was surprised how big the tour group was) and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The tour takes a little over an hour and you get to see about 3/4ths of a mile of cave structures. Most of the tour is on very well paved paths with handrails, so for a cave, it’s very accessible for all ages. I would definitely recommend this tour.

A must see ⭐️ What a wonderful place. I have been living in Houston for 12 years and can you imagine I have never been here. I cannot believe how deep it was and what a great adventure it is. Loved it and loved it. Must book your tour. We did it on site. Last tour is like at 4:30 but call. The cave is hot so if beware. You can take lots of pictures. It is slippery so be careful. No heals. Wear comfortable clothes there is a lot of steps and walking you do. The tickets were like $30 per person

A San Antonio must see attraction, something you don't find everywhere. I was surprised by how warm is inside the caverns. The guide was very informative and answered all of our questions. The guided tour is over one hour. It can be a bit of a workout going down and up through the cave system.

This experience was GREAT!! I suggest everyone do this at least once. I do caution anyone who is claustrophobic, has mobility issues, trouble breathing or walking steep inclines. And please wear good shoes. You will descend 150 ft on pathways that are wet and sometimes slippery or muddy. The ascent out gets pretty steep near the end. The temperature was mild in March but I imagine it would be very hot and humid during warmer months. There are handrails. I suggest you use them. Guests are not allowed to touch anything. You can take pictures and there are several stops where you can rest while the guides talk about the caverns. You can even taste the water near the end of the tour. Get you tickets in advance and arrive at least 15 minutes before to find parking and walk to tour area. Tours run on time every 7 minutes. It's a very well run facility complete with 2 restaurants, gift shops, panning for gems and a nice sized ropes course. I highly recommend this activity!!

We had not been here despite knowing about it for several years now. That was a mistake. Besides the cave tours, which are great there a number of other activities to enjoy. We took the "Discovery" tour and will come back to take on of the other tours they offer. Definitely worth checking out and fun for the entire family.

Loved it! It was a unique experience. I bought tickets online for the new Hidden Wonders tour. (If you're not sure you're gonna get there on time, buy them when you arrive. They're fast at the ticket counter. They start on time, every time.) The tour took over an hour, but honestly, it felt shorter. Our guide was full of spark and knowledgeable. The pictures taken in the beginning are kinda cool. About 30$ for the whole pack. I recommend wearing shoes with traction. It is a little wet down there. I was in awe of all the formations and light show. There are rails for you to grab, and a hand washing station just outside after the tour.

This place is incredible. I’m a geologist and had no idea this was lurking under the relative flatness of central Texas. My children and I marveled at the beauty of the caverns and appreciated the time spent exploring and preserving the space for all to see. The grounds are well kept and they have included lots of other businesses and activities for folks to explore. The guides were well educated and seemed to be enjoying their jobs. There is expansion taking place since more caverns have been discovered and we are excited to visit when they open the new areas.

What a great cavern experience! We went on both tours they had and both were worth the money! One is a steep down and back where you get to see every single type of cave formation and they also turn the lights off on you to experience true darkness. The other tour was stunning as they lead you through a huge cave that made you feel small. Our tour guide was a college student who really knew her stuff and was great at answering all our questions.

Great place, tour was nice and everything went smoothly, all the employees are nice and pretty friendly and conversational. I recommend this place for any cave tour. Very gorgeous sights as well. ( I actually forgot how much it costed to get in but I think it was around the 14-15 dollar price range for an adult)

Wonderful cavern tour for the whole family. We recently did this tour and it was great! We did the Discovery Tour and found the hike to be very manageable for us and our small kids. The entire thing is completed on a paved path but be aware that the caverns are actively dripping and so you may want shoes with decent grip and ones you don't care if they get wet or dirty. The features of these caverns are amazing and the lighting fantastic. Our whole family enjoyed this and we hope to visit again to see a different section!

Definitely worth a visit! We drove from Houston to see the caverns and it was so worth it. I wasn’t expecting this at all. We took the 1hour tour for ~$33 per person. This was the original caverns. We had a great tour guide and both the kids and the adults enjoyed it. The temperature inside the cave was much warmer than expected (21c with 90% humidity) so id recommend leaving your jackets in the car. Some parts of the cave are slippery so if you have hiking shoes, id wear them. Also leave anything unnecessary behind because you want your hands free to hold the railings.

Such an awesome and beautiful experience. Wear tennis shoes and be ready for a steady climb down and more so on your way up. Not for elderly or those who cannot handle too much exercise. The tour guides are very informative and fun while they explain everything. The scenery unforgettable. Hearing how many thousands of years it takes for just a small "Pillar" to form is crazy. Cannot wait to explore other areas next time. There is so much to look at and see before and after as well.

An awesome place to visit! The cavern is gorgeous! Staff was friendly and the tour guide was very knowledgeable. He can answer anything you throw out at him. There is also a safari, maze and zip rails you can purchase at an additional price. Must see the caverns though.

Great tour guide! Its an experience you need to live at least once in your life. Caves are very well preserved, it's awesome how deep you can go through the non-slippery trail. Attractions such as the maze and souvenirs are fun.

A must go see!!! These caves are amazing and still very active. Make sure you wear rubber soled shoes to avoid slipping as it's wet inside. The Hidden Passage is a little challenging. 180ft down and up with stairs through the entire cave. If you have knee problems, be prepared going back up will be tough. Discover Cave is also 180ft down and up, but much easier. It's mostly flat surfaces walking through with a few steps. I have bad knees, back, and neck and this was easier for me. Overall a great experience and beautiful area. Great place for the kiddos too. Zip lines for both kids and adults. Paid $100 for 2 people to go through both caves, it's worth it.

This is a great little cave system to visit. Our guide, Ben, was funny and informative. I especially enjoyed his bat shadow puppets! I was surprised to see how big the caverns were (and how much we actually walked). After the tour, we grabbed bit at the restaurant on site. Pretty much pizza, but it was totally worth it. Got a slice of peperoni and it was delicious. Afterward, my friend and I took a stab at the maze. It was fun running around trying to find the letters. And hey, we only got a little lost a couple of times. I'd like to think we did pretty well. So if you're looking for something different to do for a couple hours, it's worth the drive.

Out of this world. Can't say enough about this. We did the Discovery tour which I understand is the original set of caves that were opened to the public. Just incredible to be 200 feet below the surface experiencing such beauty. We had a fantastic guide as well. Charming and humorous. Very good at answering our questions and keeping track of the large group. Highly highly recommend making time for this.

We went to this cave as one of the first we’ve ever been in and it was a great time. We went on the Hidden Wonders Tour and since we went later on in the afternoon on a weekday, we were the only ones on the tour, which was kind of neat. The staff at the caverns are very knowledgeable and friendly. They explained everything beforehand It was very neat to see all the structural formations naturally constructed over time. My favourite part was the lights show at the end, which makes it a bit more magical. It is a bit of a walk but there are stops to sit. There is also a conveyor belt at the end that you can stand on if you choose when going out of the cave. Definitely something to do when you’re in San Antonio.

Natural Bridge Caverns in Texas is an awe-inspiring natural wonder. As you descend into the caverns, the world transforms into a magical realm of stunning stalactites, stalagmites, and delicate formations, all beautifully illuminated. The tour guides are knowledgeable, sharing fascinating details about the caverns' history and geology. The walkways are well-maintained, ensuring a safe experience for all ages. The caverns' constant cool temperature provides a refreshing escape from the outside heat. Above ground, there are fun activities like zip-lining and gem mining, making it a perfect family destination. This underground marvel is an unforgettable journey into Earth’s hidden beauty.

What a mind-blowing experience, the regular tour is spacious, so don't worry about getting cramped, the chambers are massive, the pictures don't do it justice. Big shout out to Kaitlyn our awesome tour guide! I will definitely be going again in the future with friends and family! Super cool place.

It was great, very cool to see all the formations and the tour guides are very knowledgeable. Don't worry about it being too cold, 70 degrees and 99% humidity feels like 85 degrees on the surface. You WILL work up a sweat no matter the time of the year. Overall very informative and fun experience for the whole family!

Today we took the Hidden Wonders Tour. We arrived at 1pm, but our tour didn't start until 2pm. During our wait time, we raced our way through the maze. It was really hot outside, but we completed the maze in 11 minutes, which is faster than the average of 15 minutes so we were happy about that. Lol Our tour guide was Jennifer. She was pretty thorough, but it was kinda hard to hear her since we were in a large group. All caverns are pretty to me, but this one was spectacular. It is amazing to see how massive caverns can be! There were so many centuries old stalactites, stalagmites, columns, soda straws, etc. Each "room" was more beautiful than the last. And the last room on this tour had a theatrical light show that was really nice. We rode the BAT thingy on the way back up. It was really slow, but it beat having to hike up the incline to the exit. 😁

Visited the Natural Bridge Caverns for a tour of the caverns and the Twisted Trails Zip Rails & Ropes Course. The caverns were beautiful and the tour guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The tour was pricey but the beauty of these caves and the amazing lighting that they installed made the tour worth it. The Zip rails and ropes course was so much fun. I highly recommend this attraction.

🦂🦇This place was gorgeous and far exceeded our expectations. 🤍🤍 We’ve been to caverns before and typically they are not very well maintained & really zero amenities at the ones outside the great state of Texas! ♥️💙 this place has it all. 🎁 Amazing gift shops. Activities for kids everywhere. 🪨🧗‍♂️👶🏻👧🏽🧒🏼👦🏿You can purchase a bag of sand with different stones & crystals inside for them to “mine” & have the whole thing set up for them. 🥨🌭🍔🥤Snack stands. Some type of obstacle course as long as you aren’t afraid of heights. 🧗‍♂️🧗‍♂️ Everywhere you turn there’s beautiful nature & wildlife. 🐿️🦅🦃🪺It’s amazing. Highly recommend. Amazing place to explore with kids for education purposes, field trips, dates, take family/friends, etc. Highly recommend it. It’s an absolute beautiful treasure. ⚠️ The one warning I have for elderly, pregnant, or anyone with heart or health issues - it can be a strenuous hike inside the cave. There’s plenty to do if you go with a group and cannot tour the cave. There are areas that are very steep & you must hold onto the handrail. The group I was in and to stop several times and wait for people. One lady sounded like she was going to need medical care. If you’re ill or at risk- I would be cautious going on the actual walk through the cave.

Amazing experience!! Highly recommend visiting this place! I have been to couple of other caverns, but this one was way different and awesome compared to those! They have other activities available on site as well, so you can easily spend half day (or full day if you do both tours).

Very busy family friendly place. Cavern tour wasn't as informative and interesting as other caverns. Still a good experience. The Twist and Trails looks super fun for school-age kids. Next door is the Natural Bridge Wildlife Park. Again a fun family adventure. You could spend the entire day doing all these 2 locations offer.

Great time and worth the trip! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Some walking and oddly warm inside, I would've thought cold but the humidity makes it warmer. If you can't do walking on wet floors, don't go. The light features make this absolutely top notch and a memorable experience.

Guides were quite knowledgeable and personable- even one in training was delightful! Manageable pace with plenty of time for photo opportunities. We took two tours and while there was a little overlap of the descriptions initially (to be expected)each tour had unique stories, views and overall experiences. A must see!

One of the most pristine caverns in all of Texas. They have just about every different kind of formation you could possibly hope to see. And there was a lot more to do than just a cheesy gift shop at the end. They also have high-end spelunking for the more adventurous.

This is my 3rd time visiting this place and every time I see it amazes me and get to see something new and eye catching. This is the natural wonder, beauty of its kind. Cave tours are amazing, it is about an hour tour. They take us down to 180 feet and get us back. So many amazing formations, so well lit to highlight the incredible nature. If there are older people they might feel little tiredness as they need to walk around. There is no wheelchair access to this cave. This is one of the best caves that I have visited. I feel photos won’t make justice and this kind of natural beauty needs to be experienced. I live in Dallas area and I recommend it to anyone who is looking for weekend getaway.

The kid's were interested and we got a chance to exercise, nature is always interesting to us. We had a personal tour guide for our six member family, but it just happened that way😉. Prices were not very fair considering we stopped at Carlsbad on my way to my sister's. Maybe they can give us a better explanation??🤔

A beautiful natural wonder. The caverns go pretty deep underground and are filled with many beautiful things to see. The tour guide was very informative as well. Just make sure you're in good enough shape to be able to climb back up from the very bottom of the cavern as it is quite a long journey uphill. I recommend visiting and seeing the beauty of nature.

It was surprisingly good. The tour guide was knowledgeable and entertaining. Some up sale attempts but nothing too annoying. The caverns were amazing and we were surprised and glad we found this attraction on our way. We recommend including this side trip if you have 2-3 hours. Food and drink options were not great. Lots of souvenirs but mostly made in China stuff and not much authentic things.

I've visited this place a few times in my youth, have brought my children when the where young, and now brought my husband and daughter again. The main tour is great, but the new one, the hidden wonders one I enjoyed alot! The guild today was awesome, but unfortunately I didn't get his name. I took the 1330 tour, so maybe someone can tell him for me? Anyway, it's worth the money to do both tours if you can manage it.

Very fun and interesting experience!! Did not expect Texas to have caves like these, but it was worthwhile and incredible. If you’re into nature and/or history, this is a must visit. The pictures and videos truly do not give justice to the views. They are just incredible. The tour guides are all knowledgeable. Who knew exploring caves and learning fun facts about them would be so entertaining?? If you’re not into caves but are a thrill seeker, they did have zip lines and rope courses that looked quite extensive compared to some other ones I’ve seen before. We didn’t get to try the courses, but they did look very fun and exciting.

Great place to witness caves. There are two tours available here. They are 1. Discovery Tour and 2. HiddenWonders Tour. You can choose any one of those or both for tour. Each one takes around 1.5 hour to cover. They will make 2 separate groups for these tours. You need to walk all around the tour. A guide will accompany you to explain. You can get your printed photographs outside. Food and drinks not allowed inside the caves although they allow water. You can take photographs with your mobile.

This is a good place to see what caverns look like. I brought two kids (6) (12) and they were able to make the whole trip with out getting to tired. There are a couple of places where you walk up a pretty steep incline. Make sure you shop for the tickets before hand because on different day the prices are way less than others.

Just amazing and always a good time. Masks and social distancing are strictly enforced and smaller groups are doing the tours. This makes it quite safe and nice.

Great place to visit and to relax. I had an extra special time taking my tour off the caverns with a great member of the Harlem Globetrotters. He was super nice & very friendly and really made my which started out as not the best.

The tour of the cavern was really amazing and the new things to do like the zipline was an extra incentive

Wow.. My oldest son and I went on the Lost Passages Adventure tour to celebrate his 16th birthday. It was amazing. We were lowered down a narrow 160ft shaft into the cave, hiked through natural undeveloped sections, even rapelled down a 60ft rocky slope section. Got to check out formations up close and personal, even climbing over flowstone to reach the final chaimber. Our guides, Kristen and Juan were eager to answer questions and discuss the formations and geology, very knoweledgable, friendly, and made the adventure all-the-more fun. They got some great pictures of it too. Thanks y'all! A truly memorable adventure; worth every penny. Im nearly 40, not very in-shape and did just fine. You should consider doing one if you're at all interested in hiking/climbing/caves!

Formations were amazing. We did discovery and hidden passages tours. Both were great but the hidden passages does have a lot of stairs. You will get your exercise. Food choices could have been a little healthier but other than that we really enjoyed it.

It was really cool, I loved seeing all the rock formations. There is a down side tho, you have to wear a mask, and the caves have 99% humidity. But the cavern gives you a nice cardio workout. It's a nice place for all ages, it has a zipline. The zipline has other opsticals built into it, like a bridge, and little blocks to hang on, the zipline does insure you wear a harness, it is very sturdy. The staff are very friendly and nice. I will cherish this experience for the rest of my life. Thankyou Natural Bridge Caverns!

The trails weren't to hard and it was humid but cool (kind of). It was bearable. Most of the trail is easy but three spots (including on the way to the exit) were pretty steep and tiring but nothing to hard. The caves were pretty and the guides have a lot of information. It didn't even fill like an hour had past. I would definitely recommend, but bring water if you can and be ready to take pictures.

So much fun. And the beauty of the caves is really nice. One word of caution. Do not attempt this if you are in horrible physical condition. There are steep inclines and breathing can be difficult.

This is a long walk but worth the time to see what nature can make during years of no human contact. Our tour guide was fun and engaging and very informative about the history of the cavern. This is a must location to come too if you really want to test your adventure side. As for the Hidden Passage, this is very short and you can tell the toru guide was stretching time to somewhat make our money worth. I would recommend going for the Natural Bridge tour. The hidden passage is better for a quick in and out tour. Both tours do get very humid so, dress warm and you can bring water bottle that have a close top to it.

Great staycation trip. Took the boys to see the caves. Would have done the rope course but the line was too long. The caves are cool. You hole through one with separate entry and exit locations. The second you hike in and out of the same entrance. Park staff are friendly.

Great place to visit. Really exceeded me & my family's expectations! Make sure to hydrate & use the restroom before entering. Also they start the tours on time. Buy tickets online so you don't have to wait in a long line. Check Groupon for possibly better pricing, but please note, they may lave limited dates avail. Pack some beverages in a backpack or something, as you will need it when you exit. That last stretch can be tiring. They do, however, have a beverage stand right as you exit the cavern...at a cost of course. Dress comfortable & wear comfortable non-slip shoes (a pair of decent running shoes does the job) as some parts can be slippery. Def will make another trip here!

Great place to visit, our kids and myself enjoyed the entire guided tour (it's about an hour walk depending on how fast you move with the guide). Lots to walk through and a lot of interesting facts. One thing I will tell you though is that you Will be sweating like a pig! No A/C and no fans, just you and nature, so make sure you bring a sweat rag or a battery operated fan or something, and water cause lord knows we didn't. Any who, here are a few pics enjoy! Oh, and also, they have a zip line, but this is also separate pricing.

Many beautiful underground structures to admire. It's amazing on what our beautiful earth can do. I don't have enough to say about this place. I know every trip I have made here with my family it's always an adventure in science, family fun, beautiful weather and activities. Great staff ! I challenge everyone to visit and take it a great time!

Amazing location to visit. The Natural Bridge Caverns has multiple tours you can take. I took only 1 tour, the Discovery Tour, which showed the Natural Underground Caves. Beautiful location and our Tour Guide SAM was incredibly knowledgeable. I recommend him every time.

I had an incredible experience visiting the Natural Bridge Caverns as part of the Hidden Wonders tour. Our guide's detailed explanations made the cave tour truly captivating, even as we navigated the steep and slippery stairs with cautious baby steps. The highlight was undoubtedly the mesmerizing light show at the tour's conclusion – an absolute delight that left a lasting impression. What made the experience even more enjoyable was how my child was engrossed in the journey, eagerly asking questions and showing enthusiasm for every aspect. The decision to forgo the escalator and walk at the end was a wise one, as it added an element of adventure that felt akin to a medium-level hike. Overall, the Natural Bridge Caverns delivered an exceptional cave exploration, perfect for families and kids who are sure to be enthralled by the natural wonders within. Spending a few hours here is definitely worth it, offering a glimpse into the breathtaking beauty of these underground formations.

Did roughly a 3.14hr drive; a day trip to NB Caverns on a Wed. The overall experience there was great. Booked both a Twisted Trails and the Discovery tour online, total cost for 3 adults, approx $180. Online, the price for the cave was $26.25x3, but at the gate, it was approx $50. The Twisted Trails cost: $26.99x3. If you're military, try ITT center, it might be better. On their FAQ's pg, it states there's a 10% military discount (at the gate only not online), but the online price is, obviously, way better. Also, if you're visiting San Antonio & and you're doing the Rio San Antonio River Cruises, they have discounted deals for the Caverns, too. Not sure how good they are, but might be worth a try if you're in the area. Had loads of fun a Ben, our cave tour guide was great and knowledge. The food prices were set to be expected. Bonus, they serve canned beer and wine. And you have to try their lemonade, it was fantastic and refreshing. Spent about 40 bucks for 2 beers, 1 wine, bag of popcorn, 3 lemonades. I know, a bit pricey but when on holiday... Hope this helps, you can really spend a good day there full of activities.

Expensive but absolutely gorgeous and a wonderful experience! All three of our kids (14, 6 and 4) loved the caverns and it's hard to find activities they all enjoy due to the age difference. Check the tour times before you go to avoid waiting around. Definitely worth the trip.

It was awesome! Great hike down and up. About 185ft down but a man made path with great hand rails. We went with a 1 yr old and she was fine! Recommend to all!

Live in Texas and didn’t know such beautiful underground caves exist. This place was a blast for the whole family with things to do for all ages. We had 4 years that were able to do the discovery tour (180’ cave) no problem in flip flops. We were concerned because we didn’t quite come prepared. They also have a nice relaxing outdoor area spaced out with gift shops, food, cold drinks etc. Loved our experience, thank you team for everything!

Took the Discovery Tour. Fun place to explore and escape the summer heat. The caverns remain at 70 degrees year round but the humidity is increased. About a 3/4 long in walking distance. Some steps and inclines that may be challenging for people with health ailments but otherwise a relaxing walk. The tour guide was very knowledgeable.

Hidden Wonders is a beautiful blend of natural cave--untouched with some of the most delicate looooong soda straws I've ever seen. The use of lights is especially helpful for finding formations and telling the story of the cave. The BAT conveyor belt is fun. Though I would probably enjoy walking out just as much. One note to management, please enforce the no flash rule. Especially during the main light show.

Great presentations! I had not been back in 25 years. Our tour guide was MADI. She was fantastic and very thorough in her presentation. Madi was energized and kept us engaged the whole time. I am impressed that tour guides are able to work in there all day. Drink plenty of water. Wear shoes you would wear for working out. No flip flops or uncomfortable clothing of any kind. The park has changed a lot in 25 years, offering many options and great souvenir shops.

Nature at its finest. A great place to visit and see a natural wonder if your into under ground caverns or just into witnessing underground rock formations. The light show was pretty amazing too. Well worth it.

Wonderful day. Knowledgeable guides. If you have mobility issues you may want to skip the Discover tour. The climb out will test your fitness. It is breathtaking and worth it in my opinion.

Family outing so I did it like a bucket list item. The tour was very interesting with so many types of formations. the climbing and Zipline experience pushed me out of my comfort zone. Great experience something I would never have chosen for myself but very gratifying.

We toured both caves in one day. Our second tour was shorter but I liked our tour guid, Emily very much. She was friendly and welcomed questions (our first tour was a much larger group and it seemed like half of the group didn't care that the guide was speaking so it's not her fault she seemed a little short, she was trying to speak over rude people) The wonders tour was definitely my favorite because of the fossil wall.

I have come to the Natural Bridge Caverns and have done the original tour a couple of times before as a child, but I definitely had a greater appreciation for the beauty of the formations and the cave in general as an adult! Our tourguide, Jenny, did a splendid job of answering our questions and highlighting different parts of the cave. We really enjoyed our visit. Hopefully will get a chance to do their other tours in the future!
