Saw my 7 month old daughter urgently in the middle of the night, with a temperature. She was limp and not responding properly. She was cared for quickly, efficiently and with care. Turned out to be COVID. Cost £500.

For performance of PCR test, please choose the right hand queue. You have to take 30 to 60 minutes into account. For antigen test, you have to queue left. The entire procedure including queuing, testing and receiving your result takes between 120 and 150 minutes. There is no opportunity for sitting down and no shadow. This procedure leaves a lot of room for improvement. Once you have managed to enter the building, organization is efficient and fast.

I arrived at the emergency room with a high fever with my child. The doctor was very nice, she checked the child and prescribed the medicine, she did her job very well, thank you very much! 🙏Everything took 30 minutes. At the reception I paid 460 Euro (without any blood tests or x-rays). The amount is excessively high. In Belgium for a similar case, with blood tests done on the spot, I paid 110 Euros. Probably this is the tourist area and they found a way to make easy money. Most tourists probably have insurance. The Hospital is clean and modern. It’s your decision if you want to go there.

Came here at the instructions of the Jet2 rep. My wife had contracted a chest infection, and apart from a bit of language difficulties (our fault!) the service was excellent. It wasn't particularly busy, and we had to wait because it wasn't life threatening, but once she was triaged, the service was very thorough and pertinent. We were there 4 hours, but if we had been at home, I reckon the wait would have been much longer! Incidentally, my wife was examined thoroughly, had a blood test, was X rayed, and had been put on a nebuliser. We weren't charged at all due to the Ehic card and passport being presented! The only cost was the taxi fare and the prescribed medication (18 euros)

RIDICULOUS attention and organisation! Do you have some COVID symptoms? Do you need to make a COVID test? Even a fast antigen test? Well this is definitely NOT the place! Even if you are and early bird, you’ll spend nearly 3 hours queuing not because of the amount of people but because the security/management team of the hospital will put a lot of effort on moving the queus around just to increase the caos on the organisation. If you are in a rush or you don’t want to loose your mind and patience, there are other Hospitals nearby were you can book ahead and there are way more serious. After that many hours we switched and got to Hospital Clinica Roca that gave us a great attention to do our tests!

We were referred to Paediatric ER at San Roque from the medical centre in Arguineguin, as our 2yo daughter had a suspected ear infection. The staff were friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, most of them spoke good English and the ones that couldn’t were supported by their colleagues who could, and were very cooperative to provide diagnosis and treatment of our daughter. As we are from the UK, this was our first experience of private healthcare, so of course there was a cost involved. However, we felt it was worthwhile of course for the welfare of our daughter, and represented value for money for the excellent service we received. Thank you to all colleagues who supported us today

Are you from the UK? **read first** First of all, a few simple facts, waiting times much quicker than our A&E at home, staff friendly, and a few spoke English. If you have travel insurance, don't bother using it as you still need to pay 500euro deposit. This is because your insurance company won't authorise payment before treatment. (As it's a private hospital) So I ended up paying that! But I got it refunded by doing this (recommend before going) 1. Apply for a UK GHIC card online (req NI) https://www.nhs.uk/using-the-nhs/healthcare-abroad/apply-for-a-free-uk-global-health-insurance-card-ghic/ 2. On the email confirming the OHS reference number, you will find this link to apply for the PRC certificate https://www.nhsbsa.nhs.uk/get-healthcare-cover-travelling-abroad/temporary-cover-emergency-treatment-abroad 3. During the application, you will be asked for an email address of the hospital that the reception will give you. Once they had mine, the lovely staff refunded my deposit. Apart from feeling dreadful and being asked for a large deposit before being seen, which i think anyone would pay (hence 4 star) it didn't cost me anything, but I walked out healthier than I walked in. 👊

I was left without medical help today with my 8 year old son who had a nose bleed for several hours. He needed a simple burning of nasal vessels but unfortunately we were not even let to see the doctor because of the missing plastic card that seems to be the only possible evidence of EU medical insurance in this country. My boy is medically insured in Estonia and within EU and though I presented the apropriate certificate of insurance, that by all means should be enough in EU countries, we were asked to pay a deposit of 500 EUR after what they will decide wheather to charge more or not. What amazes me the most - all the ladies at the counter look at the child with bleeding nose in front of them and all they talk is a out some useless plastic card. All the insurance data can be found in databases these days and the bills will be payed. But really, health should be the first priority in the hospital, no matter if private or public.

I want to share my heartfelt gratitude for the exceptional care I received from Nancy during my visit to the emergency department. Her kindness and professionalism made a huge difference during a stressful time. What really stood out was how easy it was to communicate with her in English, which made me feel much more comfortable and understood. Nancy’s warmth and patience were truly remarkable, and I am incredibly thankful for her support. Nancy, thank you again for everything—you really went above and beyond!

Never again! Arrived with sprained ankle and in severe pain, unable to put any weight on the foot at all. After an x ray confirmed that there was no fracture they sent me home with only a bandage and some basic antiinflammatories. They refused to give me a cast to stabilise the joint. Back home I suffered severe swelling , bruising and the pain got worse. After a visit to my GP the ankle is now immobilised and I am on more effective medication.
