The Surf Canaries team is incredibly professional, friendly and enthusiastic, offering far more than just a surf lesson. They deliver a well-organised learning experience, from selecting the best surf spot to suit different skill levels to providing thoughtful touches like water refills to reduce plastic waste and fresh fruit snacks at the beach. I came in with some basic surfing experience, hoping to advance further, and thanks to our instructors, Julien and Jordán, I was able to achieve that. They gave personalised attention to everyone in the group, correcting mistakes and giving advice. With their support, I felt safe trying catching bigger waves. I wouldn’t say it was easy, but what an unforgettable feeling that was! As part of the 5-day course, we also had a surf skate session, which helped me better understand the physics of turning the board in the water. Last but not least, it was so cool that the team captured photos during each surf session, letting me to see my progress and reliving those incredible moments during cold dark winter days back at home.

Excellent surf school! I really liked their method of splitting the class in two, with a break in between to eat and drink. Big bottle of water, a banana and photos included. Very friendly and cool instructors. Very professional method too. I also liked their "green" approach of not using plastic and planting trees to offset co2. 100% recommended!

Es war so ein tolles Erlebnis! Ich habe mich sehr gut aufgehoben gefühlt. Der Theorie war sehr verständlich und man hatte sehr viel Zeit im Wasser, um zu üben. Zudem bekommt man schöne Bilder vom Surfen. Super Surflehrer und sonst auch alles perfekt!

Really nice activity to do! You will not regret it and it is a lot of fun. Kids and adults alike. The instructors are very friendly and helpfull. The have good materials and you get free bottle of water and fruit to eat in between the surfing. I came back a day later and rented a board to practice a bit more on my own. In the end we kinda met up and they kept an eye me, so that was really cool and friendly.

Great experience with a beginners class. All the instructors were really professional and the lesson very well organised, focused a lot on warm up and stretching which was nice too. Thank you for the fun class and the nice pictures! :)

Best day with instructors Danny and Julien! Very well organised from first to last moment. It was great fun. We spend plenty of time in the water to practise surfing and mess around. Highly recommended! (Look at pictures for Danny face in the back, so cheerful and happy for me to actually be surfing like a pro haha)

Best surf school I've had by far. Very professional and skilled instructors, extremely chill and give you all the time, space and hype you need. They make awesome photos and analysis videos to help you progress your surfing. Would definitely recommend going here ❤️‍🔥🤙

My third time with this school. They're excellent all around. They make the day incredibly fun whilst giving great teaching before and during the surf. I felt there was plenty time to catch waves and as a nice touch you get photos afterwards. Very happy with all three visits and would recommend anyone to give them a go!

Great surf school, would happily recommend it! All staff very friendly, helpful and spoke excellent English. The introductory session for beginners was clearly presented and informative. We booked 2 days and the team helped us to reschedule the second day with no issues at all. They also honoured a refund for one of our group who was ill for the 2nd session. We hope to come back sometime :)

Dałbym 6⭐️ ale nie można. Świetni instruktorzy, super atmosfera, feedback na każdych zajęciach oraz analiza wideo surfingu. Do tego smaczne pomarańcze na każdych zajęciach. Napewno tu kiedyś jeszcze wrócę😁 Dziękuję Scarlet, Julian, Jordan oraz Dani. Było wspaniale!!!

Had a very great teaser surf lesson with the team of Surf Canaries! Everything from organization to the introduction to surfing and the surfing itself was smooth and fun, so would definitely recommend it :)

Der Surfkurs war richtig gut. Die beiden Guides haben die Technik verständlich erklärt und geduldig, auch im Wasser, wiederholt. Der Kurs wurde mit einem Stretching begonnen und beendet, was ich ziemlich gut fand. Highlight waren die schönen Fotos vom Surferlebnis. Rund um gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis und der Spaß steht hier im Vordergrund. Kann ich nur weiter empfehlen.

Our daughter wanted to learn to surf and so I contacted Surf Canaries in Playa del Inglés (Gran Canaria). This contact was via email and I got a really good clear explanation about the possibilities and the way of working. Once we arrived at our vacation destination I walked with my daughter to the surf school and we booked a 5-day training. From the moment we entered the surf school until the end of the 5 days everything was perfectly arranged. The instructors were clear, friendly and very helpful. They made sure you came out of the water with a big smile, not to mention they actually teach you how to surf well in a short amount of time! They also make "action" photos of each session which you can view for free on their Facebook page. Super service! For us it will definitely be Surf Canaries again next time we are on the island.
