Amazing place. The highest lake in the world. We slept one night here and it was on eof the most incredible adventure during peru trip. Titicaca people (Uros)are very kind and they like to tell story about their place. My advice is to visit also the islands and to sleep there for at least one night.

Such an amazing place to visit. The people are extremely polite and friendly and demonstrated to us how the floating islands are constructed. A fascinating mix of old and modern culture. Well worth the visit.

Beautiful Lake. We flew into Juliaca and came to Puno. Our Airbnb host picked us up in his boat to take us to his home. We stayed with Uros people on the their floating island home on Lake Titicaca. One of the most memorable trips as travelers. The altitude at 3,812 m (12,507 ft) made it challenging even with acetazolamide.

What an experience!!!! Loved this place and the people living there. You can get your passport stamped at Peru 's Lake Titicaca-- Uros Floating Island in Puno.

Wonderful experience. The floating islands or local people from the other islands just like Taquile, etc. are now more acting for tourists but still, it was a very unique experience to see how they lived for decades. Their story is very special just like nowhere else. So it's definitely worth visiting this place and leave Puno as soon as possible 😁 Thank you 🤩

Not many tourists because of covid. Beware of sunburn on a lake. Didn't like that they tried to squeeze money out from you on every step in the journey. Easy multiple tour cost by 2. Otherwise nice experience!

I came here just Because it’s the largest lake in South America located in the Peruvian Andes Along the border of Peru and Bolivia but Turned out to be one of the best places I have visited . Boat trips around the lake and islands in between the lake.it’s a must visit place.

It's like a dream to be on the highest navigable lake in the world. It's like an ocean where you can hardly see Bolivia side. Uros and Taquile islands are the most visited places in the lake. The water is dirty and muddy if you are close to Puno and Uros islands but when you are off shore it's crispy clear. Unfortunately the dominant trout that was introduced last century has killed all other marine life in the lake. But at least it's the main source for ceviche.

Great lake for sure but I got to know that the giew from La Paz, Bolivia is much better. From Puno, most part of the lake is dry and doesnt present an astonishing view. I would say its over rated.

Lake Titicaca, the largest lake in South America. While I was here i decided to kayak on the highest navigable body of water in the world. It was no easy task. The water was icy cold as well. Completing the kayaking journey was worth it!

A place of great natural beauty that deserves protection and preservation. A melting pot of civilisations in the past and a refuge for the old ones surviving still like the Uros.
