Ordered a big amount of food, sandwiches, quiches, cakes etc. For a local event. Process of ordering was very easy and manager F was extremely helpful, even going to the efforts of delivery! Food was delicious as expected and would use to cater events in the future.

My favourite cafe in London. Amazing homemade cakes, my favourite being the chocolate cherry and pistachio. Downstairs seating with charging sockets for your phone/ laptop.

Small and bright café with a hipstery vibe and great coffee. Gluten free baked treats will be available soon and you can already choose dairy free milk. Lovely girl behind the counter. There are about 4 small tables inside and two longer ones. More seating downstairs but ask first as it's sometimes reserved for events. Definitely a gem in Camberwell.

Love these guys, great coffee and pastries. Garden seating is superb on a sunny day and I've made good use of the downstairs area for laptop work. Top notch spot.

Haven't been here for a couple of years, love the outdoor tables and the computer friendly space downstairs - sausage roll was so tasty!

Amazing coffee and freshly cooked food, they also have a small shop where they sell truly exquisite chopping boards and a wide variety of other things most of them if not all are curated from local small businesses and artists. Lovely seating area to sit and enjoy one of the most delicious coffees I’ve had and an experience of a lifetime, the atmosphere was impeccable. Thank you Lumberjack.

Only popped in quickly. Had a nice coffee with a toasted croissant. All very tasty. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff.

Probably the best cafe in Camberwell. It look unassuming from outside but you get your coffee in sit downstairs is very enjoyable. It has a great vibe and nice crowd. The cakes and pastries are delicious. Nice pantry products too.

This is a community project and is used a lot by students. All products sold are at reasonable prices. They offer hot and cold drinks, some hot/cold snacks, and lovely cakes. In the summer, in good weather, it's lovely to sit outside in the garden. However, during bad or cold weather, there is seating inside. Unfortunately, due to it being used by a lot of students working their laptops, it's difficult to get a seated area. Although there are two large tables and chairs, these again are usually occupied! So a suitable seating area is not always available. The owners are attentive and friendly. We would use here again, but probably not to eat in.

Lovely atmosphere and staff bit we asked for extra hot coffee yet we could drink down in one gulp. Like warm

Do not go there for a cup of tea and a chat with your friend during the working hours. The space is filled with working from home crowd and it’s very quiet so you’ll feel like you are disrupting them by chatting to your friend. Not comfortable atmosphere for chats.

I've given up on this place. The coffee is good, but three times now I've ordered their toasted croissants only to end up with a piece of charcoal. I even said this last time please just lightly toast it, but still I ended up with both sides pure black. I just ended up leaving it, wasn't worth even discussing.

It used to be such a great place with very good service. Not any more. The two ignorant girls behind the counter should just rather go back to the office where they can chat away all day, and there are no costumers. What really annoyed me though, and made me write this comment, is that when you are leaving, and saying "Thank you, have a nice day" - and there is no response.... ( I was the only costumer in the shop), but that's really just what I expected from them. The coffee is average, the brownies are super sweet, prices also average.

Great coffee shop. Very friendly staff. Nice little shop too. A lack of gluten free savory options is the only thing I can criticise, which might be a little harsh as everything else is very good

This place caught my eye while having a walk around so ventured in. Immediately felt the place had a good atmosphere. Found a cosey spot in the basement which seats like 20+ people. Long black coffee was really flavorsome, cake was not bad although next time I will try the cookies they look good.

Nice coffee, very friendly staff. Garden looks like it would make an incredible place to sit !! But the downstairs is where the tables and chairs are. Will return again and again!

Genuinely obsessed with this place. Impeccable playlist, delicious and affordable cookies, salads and sandwiches, super cool decor & great vibes. Will definitely be back!

Come here often to grab a coffee and a slice of cake. Very friendly staff. They offer yummy gluten free and vegan cakes, as well as regular guilty pleasures - I particularly like the dark chocolate cherry cake. There is a selection of Italian produce too, great for when you want to cook something special for dinner.

Staff are always pleasant and coffee’s banging. Usually at least a couple of vegan cakes. I often work in the seating area downstairs which is surprisingly light and has quite a few plug sockets, as well as a long table facing one of the walls which I assume is designed for laptopers

Excellent place to spend a few hours. The drinks will be delicious no matter what type you get. As for food, their fritattas, salads, and sandwiches are delicious and there cakes and sweet snacks are decadent and tasty (especially the banana bread). I would give this place ten stars if I could. Definitely coming back soon.

If you want strong tasting coffee, go here. They also have ceramic and stuff made by local artists :)

This is one of, if not the best, cafes south of the river. Perfect for grabbing a coffee and babycino with the kids. The staff are immensely friendly and helpful and lumberjack is about more than making profit. It was set up to support young people into employment opportunities. We also held a work celebration here once and the food was exceptional. Locally sourced, fresh and truly scrumptious. If you are still going to Costa round the corner stop.

I just started eating the slice of chocolate cherry vegan loaf I bought from Lumberjack and had to stop midway to tell you how good it is. It’s great. Alongside coffee, they sell lovely baked goods, an enticing selection of foods and drinks, and a great selection of gifts by local artists and makers. Sadly, probably due to Covid, there doesn’t appear to be anywhere to sit on the ground floor level (there might be on the lower floor but I don’t know for sure), so if you have a buggy or you’re disabled you might not be able to sit in.

Great cafe, lovely staff, amazing mission. Deli sells really nice things, including beautiful ceramics. The chai latte is fab and the cakes are delicious.

Wonderful variety of normal and plant based food, coffees and teas. Also selling essentials like eggs, bread and milk. Even features a small store with local prints, craft beer and wine as well as deli items and beauty products. My favourite menu items are the vegan chocolate, cherry and pistachio loaf and the oat flat white.

Me and the dog both love this café. Really friendly personnel, delicious coffee. The hot chocolate is a real delight. They have a little shop at the back selling organic products and items made by local artists. A real gem in Camberwell!

This is my local coffee place and has helped me and the rest of Camberwell survive lockdown! Coffee is best in South East London. All the staff know how to make a good latte and flat white and offer a variety of milks to suit the oat and soya brigade! Natasha, Steve, Daisy and Co are friendly and it's been an amazing experience getting to know them so well over the past two years especially. Bread, sandwiches, cakes, cookies, salads - all very good quality and lovely prepared and presented. They also have a well stocked store with high quality jams, pasta and other dry good. They love dogs which is always a bonus. Service is friendly and prompt, they always have a great soundtrack. If you are in Camberwell in need of a coffee, breakfast, lunch or a snack then head to Lumberjack. The staff are lovely and a trip to this place can make your day!

Friendly, tasty, bright, fun and welcoming. A lovely spot for coffee, cakes and more. There is funky art on the walls (that you can buy) Andy lots of space to sit and chat with friends, or just read a book. Best of all this place is really community minded, supporting local people, causes and groups. A real local gem!

What a lovely place, and the coffee (double espresso for me!) Was THE BEST! That I have had over the last five years!!!! Smooth and full of body. What a pleasure to discover .. I tip my hat to the barista working Saturday morning 😃

Great coffee and really great place to sit. Pastries are delicious and great vegan options too

Coffee - ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Banana bread - ⭐️⭐️ Temperature control - ⭐️ Seriously nice coffee. I was working in the cafe on a cold day, and it was so cold I was sat there with 3 layers and a coat on and contemplated putting gloves on. Heating would have bumped this up to a 4 star 👍
