At
£95
for
10
courses
we
thought
it
was
very
overpriced
for
what
it
really
was.
Portions
were
incredibly
small
and
whilst
there
were
some
interesting
spins
on
dishes
there
was
nothing
revolutionary
(except
for
the
caviar!).
It's
fantastic
that
a
Michelin
star
chef
is
turning
their
talents
to
plant
based
eating
but
some
dishes
did
just
feel
a
bit
lacklustre,
and
repeated
uses
of
asparagus
and
Vegan
cream
cheese
took
away
some
variation;
having
eaten
at
countless
vegan
establishments
I
knew
the
potential
and
wanted
Michelin
star
vegan
food
to
exceed
that,
which
I
felt
this
didn't
quite
do.
Everything
seemed
to
be
cooked
wonderfully,
but
the
majority
of
the
dishes
and
the
fine
dining
approach
is
not
for
all,
and
was
not
for
us,
as
we
spent
the
entire
3.5
hour
dining
experience
feeling
hungry
throughout.
Our
server
was
exceptional,
however
it
was
not
taken
well
when
we
asked
to
remove
the
£35
service
charge,
which
on
top
of
a
£200
meal
we
just
didn't
love,
we
thought
justified.
We
asked
politely,
pressing
it
was
not
a
comment
on
the
service
at
all,
just
a
large
amount
and
as
the
meal
was
very
expensive
and
the
service
charge
optional,
we
would
like
to
opt
out,
which
in
other
establishments
is
totally
accepted,
but
here
was
to
be
met
with
a
bad
reception
and
seemed
to
be
taken
very
personally.
This
is
one
to
try
if
you've
got
the
cash
to
burn,
would
value
the
experience
and
are
interested
in
the
vegan
fine
dining
experience,
but
I
don't
think
it's
vital
vegan
dining
in
London.
