I
grew
up
in
the
city
and
even
before
it
was
a
National
Park,
I've
loved
the
area
that
is
"Land's
End."
The
natural
beauty
and
constantly
changing
views
of
the
Pacific
are
always
breathtaking.
Add
to
that
the
historical
aspects
of
the
area
with
the
Golden
Gate,
Sutro
Baths,
China
Beach,
Veterans
Hospital,
the
Legion
of
Honor,
the
Labyrinth,
the
USS
San
Francisco,
and
all
of
the
other
things
I've
forgotten,
and
you
have
a
memorable
experience.
If
I
were
to
take
someone
to
visit
San
Francisco
who
had
never
been
and
can
only
take
them
to
one
place,
I
would
take
them
to
Lands
End.
The
only
reason
I
do
not
give
Lands
End
5
stars
is
because
of
the
changes
that
have
come
over
the
last
couple
of
years.
Unfortunately,
much
of
the
beauty
of
Lands
End
has
now
become
overshadowed
by
prevalent
graffiti,
refuse
along
the
trail,
overflowing
portable
toilets,
and
vehicle
break-ins.
It
is
difficult
to
see
the
decline.
