I do NOT recommend The Kickin Crab based on a disappointing experience today. The unprofessional behavior of the manager and their refusal to provide a proper resolution were major letdowns. I had a very disappointing experience at The Kickin Crab tonight. We ordered Combo#2 with King crab leg. While the food was decent, the way things were handled towards the end was a major letdown. Towards the end of our meal, we discovered a long hair in the bag near the corn, which was truly unpleasant and off-putting. Seeking a resolution, I approached the manager, who displayed an rude and dismissive attitude. Despite the clear evidence of a hair in the food, the manager tried to justify it by claiming it was a hair from the crab shell or a string from the box, he said they don’t know. I pointed out that the hair I found was long and distinct, not matching their explanation of crab shell hairs. Also, I have had the seafood boil for many times in different restaurants, and I have never seen such a “crab string” in my food. I can’t help suspect that the food wasn’t cleaned thoroughly in their restaurant. When I expressed my desire for a resolution or some form of compensation from the restaurant, the manager responded with an arrogant attitude, “You can post a bad review or you can go see a doctor, whatever. But if you are requesting a 50% off, you are killing me. ” When I said this was not a satisfactory response I expected, he replied "You already ate your food, right?" These answers were shockingly rude to me. To make matters worse, when my husband joined the conversation and tried to find a resolution, the manager ignored my presence and attempted to charge my husband the full amount, completely disregarding my perspective. When I confronted the manager about this discriminatory behavior, he responded with a contemptuous laugh and replied, “No, it's because you upset me." Such unprofessional conduct is unacceptable in any setting. The manager then contacted his boss and informed me that the only offer available was a 20% discount on the check, amounting to $96.24 that I still had to pay, without even a simple apology. We paid the amount of $96.24 and then left the restaurant with disappointment. It’s truly shocking to encounter such unprofessional behavior from a renowned brand. The manager's lack of accountability was just plain disappointing. Instead of addressing the cleanliness issue and offering a sincere apology, they brushed it off and made excuses. It's important for a restaurant to prioritize cleanliness and take customer concerns seriously. I really hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works on improving their customer service and cleanliness standards. In the meantime, I'd suggest looking for other dining options that value their customers and prioritize their satisfaction.

This service was fast, the food was nasty. It had no flavor. All I could taste was garlic and butter. The butter was so thick, I felt my arteries getting clogged. The food here sucks. People should really taste their food here. Please see pictures.

This is our local Cajun shrimp spot. The food is always consistent but the service can be a hit or a miss. The price is good for what you get. We normally order 1lb of shrimp (per 2 people) with sausage kicking style mild (there is still some kick), steam rice for each person and an order of garlic noodles. Sometimes we get the fries but ask for no seasoning because my kids do not like spicy. Just make sure you get there early before the dinner rush. Don't forget to check out my IG for more pictures of delicious food. @foodie_wit_a_bootie_408

I am writing to express my extreme disappointment with my recent visit to "Kickin' Crab." The quality of the meal I received was shockingly poor, as I found a rock in a clam and a hair on my shrimp. These issues indicate a lack of attention to detail and disregard for food safety and hygiene. However, the way they solve the problem is to apologize and walk away. There are no compensatory measures, such as free dishes or discounts. This was a very poor experience and I would not recommend anyone to eat at this restaurant. Discovering a foreign object in my food not only raised concerns about the kitchen's standards but also posed a potential health risk. Additionally, encountering a hair on my dish was both unappetizing and concerning, reflecting poorly on the cleanliness of your establishment. I hope you take these matters seriously and make immediate improvements to prevent such incidents from occurring again. As a customer, I expected a better dining experience and am disappointed by the lack of quality control at "Kickin' Crab."

Completely incompetent staff. They have no idea how to properly run a restaurant and have zero professionalism. It’s clear that the wait staff and cashiers received no training, and they take no responsibility for the multiple failings and mistakes they make every hour. I’ve always laughed off how bad the service was at this location, telling my friends that the incompetent staff added to the charm of this place, but tonight sealed the deal. Absolute train wreck of an evening, nothing about our order was correct, and the cashier ended up practically throwing our change at us when we voiced our displeasure. Boy, bye.

Awful experience. They included sausages in our shripm bag even though we told them we are muslim and DO NOT eat pig prooducts. Service was appalling, replacements were not made except for the shrimp order. And the sauce was bland. Not going back there!!! No manager was available. We didn't pay for our food but the experience was ruined. My mum was really upset and didn't eat at all. Boiling crab is wayyyyy better.

They get more expensive. And the portions get smaller and smaller. I spent almost $100 on a seafood in a bag (king crab, sausage, corn, potatoes) and my king crab legs looks like snow crab legs. Either I got strong af, or this bag got lighter. Lightest and stingiest bag I’ve ever received. As much as I used to love this place, I won’t be coming back.

I used to like this restaurant very much, but now I'm amazing with the prices. The price rises faster than the inflation rate every year. In 2018, the package price is still $37.99, $59.99 and $71.99. Now it doubles. When inflation intensifies, restaurant raise the price. Now the Federal Reserve has controlled inflation, and has not seen restaurant lower the price. It only knows to follow the price increase, but never follow the price decrease. Now the crab in the San Francisco Bay Area is $2.99, why is your seafood so expensive near the ocean? Amazing...

Our food was amazing, ended up eating about 2 pounds of shrimp, and loved that they had soju. We had the mild and the spicy, would definitely recommend the mild for taste but the spicy had some good heat to it. Service was great and helpful, 10/10 would recomend

They offer a vast variety of delicious food. I enjoy eating here. Staff members are always friendly, pricing is fair and the place is always kept clean. Eating here was an unusual experience and I would recommend visitors to know a few things before they enter. They serve cooked crab/lobster/etc in a plastic bag with all the gravy in it. They don't serve spoons, forks or even plates. You need to be comfortable eating with your hand and its going to get very very messy. Despite being busy, the staff did an excellent job making sure that we had everything needed to feast! Along with the appetizers, we ordered the kickin combo deal #1. For a family of four, all of this food was more than enough; we underestimated how much food was going to be in the seafood bag. Overall, the food is a little on the saltier side. We loved how thinly sliced the fries were, making them extra crispy. Calamari was excellent; they were crunchy and tasty. We wished we substituted the garlic noodles for another order of calamari! The garlic noodles became overbearing after the first bite; I wouldn't recommend it. We would come here again.

Unbelievable religious beliefs food screw up! Specifically requested no pork for all Muslim group. Eating through the shrimp bag ... had pork sausage!!!! Almost threw up at the table. Meal was partially replaced and the Manager claimed he didn't hear me asking for a full meal replacement (since the rest of our order was already contaminated). And that the kitchen was closed. The meal was comped, however, no one had much of an appetite left. Definitely never going back.

My boyfriend and I were looking for our favorite seafood boil and this has gotten to be ours. Their sauces are tasty and hits the spot. I get the kickin style with crab and he gets the KC fiesta with shrimp. Their fries and calamari are good to munch on, the calamari can use less breading. We will be coming back.

Delicious and messy fun! I hope they don't cook shrimps in the plastic bags, only serve in them. The sauces are very tasty, 5 kinds with 4 levels of spiciness. The idea of sharing of 4-5 lb bag of seafood is also uniting and friendly way to spend time with your people.

Excellent food! I really enjoyed how fresh and flavorful the seafood was, the sides were really good and enhanced the meal. The service was great and some of the staff went above and beyond to assist us. Our table was a little wobbly and considering how much the tables are used for eating it was a little annoying but nothing that ruined the meal. I will definitely be coming back here!

I eat here often since the food is delicious. Normally service is also good too. The 1 star is for the most recent visit. After paying the bill, the waiter gave me back someone else’s card that looks similar to mine. I didn’t realize until 2 days later when someone noticed the different name. This caused so many inconveniences for me because it’s my only credit card and I needed it that week. I tried to reach out to the restaurant. They asked me to bring it back so that they can give my card back. After returning the card, they didn’t give my card back. I was hoping to work out a deal because the card swap cost me a lot of inconveniences that week. Seems like it’s not possible. It’s a shame because I like their food

Hello Everyone, My friends and I are looking forward to get together at the Kickin Crab and enjoy heavy butter packed Cajun shrimp and awesome garlic fried noodle that bring us joy before the covid. The place was packed and long wait in the line, so we decided to book the reservation ahead of time. The minimum reservation is 8 people, so I had no choice but invited 2 other friends to participate. However, the place is 70% full, not like you had to wait for 1 hours before. The food math is to get 0.50 lb per person, and we order 4 lbs of shrimp to share and some Garlic noodle. The headed shrimp is very soggy and I wonder if the staff accidentally squeeze them to make them softer so I can chew. The Garlic noodle is so flavorful and chew like the quality before the covid. The thin fries are awesome, but who does not like fries except your cardiovascular doctor. In summary, if you are coming for seafood, I recommend you to cook it at home with the best shrimp that cost $9.99lbs these day, and maybe add the real butter. If you are coming for fries, this is it. I am confused, Paul

We ordered combo #1 and the coconut sea snails. In the combo we had clams, crawfish, and shrimp, and shrimp definitely won!! The corns and the sausages are so good!! The soup in coconut sea snail is sweet and coconuty - Thai ish. The take out only takes 10 minutes to be ready.
