I recently had a highly disappointing experience at this urgent care facility with my 3-year-old child. Upon arrival, I inquired about whether my insurance was covered. The staff, rather than confirming, assured me it "probably was" and proceeded to schedule an appointment for my child. After enduring a 90-minute wait, just five minutes before the appointment, they casually informed me that my insurance was not accepted for my child's care. This lack of professionalism and disregard for a patient's time and resources, especially when dealing with a young child, was so frustrating. Their casual approach to insurance verification and communication was not only unprofessional but also deeply inconvenient, wasting our entire morning.

I went to Carbon originally for an urgent care appointment to take care of an infection. The nurse practitioner was lovely and everything went well. The troubles started during my follow-up with the actual doctor. My follow-up appointment was with Dr. Paige Anderson who proceeded to dismiss or explain away all of my symptoms as “normal” and then turn around and tell me it sounded like MS. She left without telling me what MS is, so I had to look it up myself. It’s a very serious condition that you shouldn’t just dump on someone and leave them to sort out (degenerative nerve condition). MS doesn’t even explain my most pressing symptoms. And on top of all this, it’s impossible to get in touch with their billing department to sort out any issues. Overall quite unpleasant. Dr. Anderson is unprofessional and I’m honestly concerned whether or not she’s qualified.

I was impressed with my visit to Carbon Health urgent care today. The physician’s assistant and the nurse practitioner were excellent: thorough and professional. They asked all the right questions and made me feel taken care of. I received the results of my two tests back on the app, which seemed to work just fine. I’m visiting my daughter from out of town, and I wish that I had this kind of excellent care where I live, in Washington, DC. Thank you everyone at Carbon Care. I know how hard it is to take care of so many sick people when you yourself are feeling a bit overwhelmed during the holidays. Courage to you all!

I had a wonderful experience at Carbon yesterday. I am from out of town and needed to go to the Urgent Care, I chose Carbon as it was the closest office with the best reviews. I was able to schedule an urgent care appointment for the afternoon. When I arrived the front desk was busy but friendly and multi-tasking like a pro. I was called back 15 minutes after my scheduled appointment which I expected a longer wait considering urgent care. The medical assistant and the doctor were equally as friendly and efficient. I travel to Berkeley every two weeks and if I ever need to see a doctor again I will return to Carbon. Thank you all for a great experience, keep up the amazing work.

I visited Carbon Health Urgent on a Thursday after 4 pm. 11/30/23 in Albany CA I was greeted by the most pleasant receptionist by the name of Anna. She had a very soft tune even though I was not so pleasant due to my needs. The place was clean as I was referred to this place by my daughter. The place was clean and the wait was a hour after the appointment time. I was taken to the exam room by Princess and she was able to do my vitals. The Np that I saw was Lillian Khan. She as very knowledgeable and hav an excellent bedside manner. She quickly diagnosed the problem and was able to exam and treat my needs. There was as also another excellent lady that helped in the process named Sherri. I would like to Give the place a 10/10. Thank you for your excellent service.

Came here with mother in law after she fell. Got an appointment on a Sunday afternoon and was seen within a few minutes upon our appointment time. Front desk receptionist was really nice and attentive. Not sure how the clinician was since I didn't go in. Overall the experience was positive and it's such a great convenience to have an urgent care center close to home and open on a Sunday. Also it's nice alternative to going to the ER for none emergency.

They were great! As soon as we came in Rosa took the information for Frank’s appointment. Then Vanessa came out and asked Frank if a wheelchair would help him and brought one for him to sit in. She pushed him into the room down the hall and started taking his vitals doing an exam. After she was done Jennifer came in to talk to us. She decided that there were some tests she wanted to run, so Vanessa came in and got the testing done. Jennifer looked at the results of most of the tests and told us what she thought was going on. She wrote a note for his boss and said for us to go get the antibiotic right away and start him on it. We left about an hour after we got there.

For what I needed Carbon came through. Same day appointment. Was even seen early! NP had personal experience with my symptoms and we talked through different treatment options. I felt listened to. Prescription was sent as requested and ready an hour later. In total I was at Carbon for less than 30min. It won’t always be this way. But this is my 3rd time in as many years and it’s pretty consistent. I recommend for basic health treatment.
