We got Combo #4... Im from the south where we do lots of seafood boils! One of the best I've ever had!! Well seasoned (even the cajun fries)! Def give a try if in the San Fran/Berkeley area. It's worth the drive. Service was also nice.

Nice little place in Berkeley, serving mostly crab and fish n chips, but also chicken wings, which were screaming good! I don’t eat fish, so I had lemon pepper chicken wings - they were great! And really good garlic noodles. The decor was very nicely done; the service was excellent! Kind and gracious staff. Definitely recommend visiting here...

Pretty good place to pop out and grab a bite of some crustacean sensation. We ordered the C3 King crab legs , jumbo 🍤, sausage, corn & potatoes. Also the C1 1lb Prawns head off. Soo good. Nice and steaming hot. Great shareable size and the price isn’t too bad at all. The ambiance definitely fits the vibe and helps to immerse you into the whole seafood boil vibe.

We order the C2 combo to go. It includes Alaskan Crab, headless (or not) shrimp, corn, sausage and potatoes all in a big plastic bag soaked in Cajun sauce. Two canned lemonades go well. We drive to the Berkeley Marina, back up to the San Francisco Bay and watch the sun set. This is our loving ritual and we want to share it with you 😘 Ask for extra napkins! They include two sets of plastic gloves but you will need extra napkins. Try asking if they have moist towelettes too… or bring your own wipes. This is a messy food to eat in the kitchen or outdoors for us… but we are sloppy with it 😄 It doesn’t detract from the fun, it IS the fun! The photo is of unappetizing leftovers - don’t worry it looks much better hot!

Got the spicy crabs and definitely underestimated the level of spice! Was definitely were pretty good. They could've been a bit more fresh however I got there 30 minutes before closing so that's probably why they weren't as fresh as I am used to.

I think the shrimp was good but I must say I was put off with the bill arriving before the food did for this sit down restaurant. Custom establishes that if you are seated, then you pay after the meal. If you order at the register, then you pay there. This was highly unusual.

This place should be 1 star food and service is actually terrible. I read the reviews on the garlic noodles wow probably the worst tasting noodles I’ve ever had. The server forgot the margaritas as well. Yeah this is the first and last time I’ll come to this establishment.

I don’t know what people are talking about. The food here was terrible. I literally had two bites of the fish and it was awful. I didn’t do the bag of seafood so maybe that may be ok but avoid everything else.

They're always very nice. I don't get to go often but when I do the service is the same. I got a lot of food for $64. A whole crab, potatoes, corn, egg and rice and an IPA to wash it down.

I just ate here with my toddler, who was attracted by the winged crab decor. We had the chicken katsu & fish fry lunch plates. Absolutely recommend it and will be back! The chicken was lightly fried, juicey chicken tenders, perfectly cooked & fresh rice (our rice cooker broke a few months ago and I've been eating poorly stovetop cooked rice like a barbarian), creamy coleslaw, and a side of katsu sauce that was more vinegary than sweet. The fish was panko fried and juicey, with french fries that in hindsight could have used salt but I was already eating fried salty food so not a big deal, and a side of tartar sauce and vinegary ketchup. I paid $23 + tip for both plates. The staff was really nice. It looks like they have daily prices for their seafood specials (crab legs, lobster etc). Given the quality of the simple plates I had today I am sure their other food is equally delicious.

My god, the garlic butter in c2 combo is like heaven. It's the most delicious food i have ever had. It's 10 times better than i cook garlic butter seafood at home! I just wanna say thank you.

Great service nice clean restaurant. We had Crab, Craw Fish and shrimp. This is a few blocks from Cal plan appropriately. I will go back.

Went there on the 25th with my sister and my niece ordered the basket of shrimp and the basket of calamari unfortunately I have to say both of them were horrible the calamari was cooked to the point that it was tough as a rubber band and the shrimp hadn't been deveined so they had an off taste to them when we first got there we were ignored by the staff a couple came in 10 minutes after us and were seated their table was dressed and their food order was taken waitress walked right past us we should have left at that point but it was raining and I didn't feel like going anywhere else I was hopeful that the food would make up for it there was some deep fried chicken it looked and tasted like it came directly out of a freezer bag and was deep fried you will never catch me in there again although my sister did have garlic noodles and garlic shrimp and those tasted okay

Interesting concept -- everything comes boiled in a plastic bag with your choice of seasonings. In retrospect I probably wouldn't get the clams again because they tend to get smothered in the spices. I enjoyed the shrimp and sausages.

It's an amazing place I love going here. The service is always amazing and fast. The seafood is delicious and you cannot get this much seafood for this price anywhere else these seasonings are absolutely got it it tastes delicious I love getting the medium Cajun combo #2 it's always a consistent deliciousness when you found one of those places you just never stop going.

A cozy family restaurant with simple decor. The atmosphere was jumping the Friday night our party of four arrived. The seafood was delicious and seasoned well. Plenty of napkins, bibs, and even plastic gloves, helped keep hands and faces neat. The beer selection was nice and fair priced, as was the food itself. We are very happy we gave Bag O'Crab a shot. It was filling and fun with great service.

Crab came with no meat inside it!!!! Such a scam.

This is my daughter's favorite so we surprised her on her birthday. The food was fabulous, the service was excellent,servers were very helpful and friendly.

Clam Chowder was lumpy with balls of flour, no clams , tasted a bit like potato soup . absolutely not the hearty soup I would expect at a restaurant named Bag O Crabs. Others seemed to be caught up in the cajun seafood mess... roll up your sleeves.

not sure how the food is. i ordered a meal and the delivery driver did not speak english and refused to give me my order. Total waste of cash and time.

Amazing seafood!! We had the garlic noodles, lemon pepper fries, clams and shrimp combo with atomic sauce, and lobster tail. It took less than 10 minutes for our food to arrive. Everything tasted sooo good and fresh and flavorful. The staff and service were great too.
