A clean beach, a lot of room to spread out, but there is a comparatively small parking lot for this beach. This is also a pay lot. You will see a lot of surfers as well as sand crabs at this beach. Compared to other beaches, this beach is clean (few rocks, no seaweed, no garbage, no shells). There are bathroom facilities, as well as a foot wash station. There are also a few restaurants located nearby. My recommendation is to arrive early to secure a parking spot. I didn’t see too many other public parking spots. This beach is about a 10 minute drive from Half Moon Bay.

Nice beach, lots of surfers and people in the water. The parking lot is paid and can get full, but we circled around and managed to get a spot from someone leaving. Dogs are allowed on leashes, and there were lots of people walking their dogs on the beach. It can get really windy, and can be cold if the fog/clouds cover the sun so bringing a light jacket is a good idea. Also, the popular Taco Bell Cantina is here, and has a great view of the ocean and beach, and they allow dogs on the outside patio seating.

One of my absolute favorite beaches in the Bay Area of NorCali for its views, chill vibes, and small tight knit community. Highly recommend you stopping by and visiting the Pier side as well as the larger softer sand side. Ample public parking that’s super affordable.

Beautiful and scenic beach in the heavenly Pacifica. It has restrooms and offers 4 hours parking for $7. It also has cleaning stations with fresh water. Weekends are crazy busy as parking becomes impossible.

Very wonderful beach, with plenty to explore! There are hills with trails you can climb for a wonderful view, and overall the beach has a solid family vibe. Parking was free, and the beach was not too crowded.

Nice park. Parking has a charge. We try to fish there but not even one bite. 😢. They also have bathroom and water faucets stand to wash off.

Man, I just love this beach. It's been my go- to for many many years. It's easy to get to. It's not very big and it's not very crowded. It's a popular place for surfing, which I enjoy watching. Sitting and hearing the waves crashing is great.

I always love this place. It's close enough for me to come visit when it's nice out. Sometimes, you get a few weirdos who think they own the beach or someone that had 1 to many. This is a very dog friendly beach, so if sparky isn't too friendly, probably best to leave them at home. Unless you are training them, then totally fine. Good brewery, coffee shop, taco bell cantina, and a few other places within close proximity to the beach. So if you forget something, you can likely get it within 10 minutes. It is paid parking most days in the main parking lot. The payment area is near the showers, which you will need to walk the receipt back to your car to place it in. There are free spots near, but you'll need to look for them.

Perfect spot for picnic, my favorite beach to go to, relax & see sunset. Sand does get hot when temperature reaches above 70°, do have proper pair of shoes, beach blanket & shade. If you plan to stay after sunset do take extra pair of jacket it will get windy & cold. There's public Porta Potty, suggest do take your own toilet paper or needed toiletries, rather be safe then sorry.

Parked and took a hike up to local bluffs and Pedro point. About a 7 mile round trip. Great place to enjoy the sunset. The Moon raker restaurant has some excellent food. Ended the day with a relaxing breeze.

So nice here when the sky is actually clear. The water was surprisingly comfortable despite it being 50 degrees out. Lots of surfers and families enjoying their time. There is a convenient washing station and bathrooms available.

Me, hubs and pup needed a day at the beach. Beautiful area. Luckily we were able to find a parking space (parking lot on the Taco Bell side) even tho we got there about 1pm and found the pay for parking thing by the restrooms ($7 for a few hours). We walked the entire beach, all the way to the north where there were a bunch of rocks I couldn't climb thru but hubs and pup made it just fine and there were people checking out what I assume were the tide pools. It looks like there's a trail that leads off the beach (upward into some hills) so I'll explore when we can get out there earlier. At the parking lot there were bathrooms and places where you could rinse off outside beside the bathrooms. The beach had surfers, groups of friends of all ages and families with and w/o dogs. About a block from where we parked is Linda Mar shopping center which includes Safeway and Ross (in case you forget anything for your beach day), a bunch of restaurants (Round Table, a boba place, Coldstone, a taqueria, Starbread and others) and Pet Food Express where they have a self-wash station! We were happy to give our pup a bath after all the sum and sand she had that day!

Perfect spot for watching sunset. Make sure to check the webcams around the area before coming and ensure that weather is sunny and clear. Very clean and well maintained beach. Parking is $7 for 4 hours.

As always a wonderful experience. Peaches kept fairly clean, bathrooms are available, parking is a bit pricey. There's a shopping center across the street. I would highly recommend the boba tea, we also had some nice food at a little Mexican restaurant in the back of the shopping center. It's well located just north of El Granada and south of San Francisco. Would recommend coming up from the south to avoid heavy San Francisco traffic coming across 92 to half Moon Bay then drive North. Great place for the family very Long Beach. Area to fly kites, and bring your pet.

Walked on Devils Slide road and admired the view. Took a little over an hour to walk from end to the other ans back. There were signs along the way that described what was around you, along with some history. Lots of hawks and bird varieties. Old WW1 (ww2?) artillery. The view was incredible! Don't get off the road, though. Lots of poison oak! Also, there were 2 break ins with the parking lot. No cameras. Officer said it happens there all the time, so maybe set up a go-pro and catch them if you happen to walk it.

Really awesome beach! Would give 5 stars but it’s right next to the highway which is a bit busy and also doesn’t have a cute boardwalk or anything or far enough away from a town that it’s chill. Regardless, it wasn’t too busy and had some nice views still, many families and some dogs. Not a super long beach, and some rocks at the southern corner. Many many surfers out on the waves which was cool!

It didn't wow me, but it would a surfer! Big time surfing area. I don't think much for a hang out at the beach day if you want to swim or play beach volleyball. It was a busy area for sure where surfing occurs day and at night. Beautiful view though. And a very popular and swauve Taco Bell that serves drinks daily you can try.

Good beach for a long walk end to end on the beach, has great views and also a coastal trail near by for Pacific Ocean views. It’s a dog friendly beach which is the best part if you have a dog that likes playing around without the leash in some parts of the beach. Kid friendly too. There are showers and decent size parking lot. It’s a lil dirty and not maintained well.

I always hit the beach before 2pm in the summer. The weather's just perfect - warm with a dash of cool sea breeze that rustles through my hair, offering nature's own AC. The waves are tailor-made for surfing, forming watery roller-coasters that every surfer dreams of conquering. As for the walks along the shoreline, they're the best part of the trip. There's something about the calming crashes of the ocean waves along the shore and the distant hum of beach life that turns the ordinary into extraordinary. All in all, it's my slice of beach paradise, with the right mix of sun, surf, and calm sandy strolls.

Pacifica Beach, is an incredible destination for anyone looking for a fun and relaxing day by the ocean. This beach is particularly appealing for those living on the east side of the Bay Area, as it's easily accessible and just a short drive away. One of the most attractive features of Pacifica Beach is its excellent surf conditions. This beach is well-known for its consistent waves, making it a popular destination for surfers of all skill levels. Aside from surfing, Pacifica Beach is also an excellent location for jogging and taking long walks. The expansive beachfront offers plenty of space to run or walk, and the stunning views of the ocean make it a picturesque location for exercising. It's worth noting, however, that Pacifica Beach can get quite windy, so it's always a good idea to bring a pullover or jacket to stay warm. Additionally, it's important to protect your eyes from the sun, so investing in a good pair of sunglasses is a must. Overall, Pacifica Beach is a fantastic destination for anyone looking for a fun day by the ocean. With its great surf conditions, scenic views, and ample space for jogging and walking, it's no wonder that this beach is a popular destination for locals and tourists alike.

Parking can be a bear at times. It's a great view during the less foggy days. Great for relaxing and taking in the atmosphere. Several shops and eateries are nearby within walking distance. Public restrooms are available. If you're looking for smoother sand with fewer crowds, a short drive south may be a better option.

Great beach to take our dog and baby, with a short trail (and spectacular panoramic views) between the beach and highway if you prefer not to walk on the sand (like with a stroller). Very clean and well maintained. Lots of surfers and friendly dogs. Only small negative is the parking rates aren't flexible and don't have an hourly option. It's either first 30 mins free, 4 hours or full day. We usually stay around 1 hour but end up paying for 4 each time. Not a big deal as the beach is well worth it for the small fee, but just be aware.

When you go there will you see many surfer, watch and enjoy it, but don’t forget chair and some food and beverage. Many times has available Parking area. When i visit there i feel some cold, maybe you should get some things. You can sit on the beach, if you bring the blanket or smillar things, also you could get some walk around the beach by the walkside.

Nice out there! Pay parking everywhere I looked and, this weekend everything was completely packed because it was the day after christmas. Taco Bell parking lot you're good for 30 minutes if you buy food that's it. I might have bought a taco or burrito but that place was packed! Surfers were out there having a lot of fun, wish I could have joined them!

Lots of surfers here. I don't surf, but it's fun to watch. There is a surf shop where you can rent all the gear for surfing, I think it was called "norcal surf shop" Everyone seemed really nice at the beach. Wish I took more than one photo (sorry). My photo doesn't do the place any justice. Oh, and it's hard to find available parking spots, you might have to circle around a few times, or park further away. Make make sure you park somewhere where you won't get towed.
