On
a
warm
Sunday
evening,
after
playing
card
games
and
sipping
on
beers,
we
decided
we
wanted
to
grab
some
heavy
apps.
The
man
suggested
The
Tasting
Room
and
of
course,
I
have
to
check
out
the
Yelp
reviews.
Ok,
not
bad…..4.5
stars,
BUT
there
weren’t
many
photos
of
the
food
so
I
was
not
sure
what
I
was
getting
myself
into.
We
made
last
minute
ressies
on
Open
Table
and
upon
arrival,
we
were
greeted
by
a
well-dressed
man
in
a
suit.
Although
pretty
busy
for
a
Sunday
evening
close
to
closing
time,
there
were
some
good
seats
available;
we
chose
to
sit
at
the
bar
where
we
met
a
nice
couple
we
chatted
with
all
night.
Our
server
Curtis
was
super
friendly,
very
knowledgeable
about
the
wines
and
super
attentive.
We
each
ordered
a
glass
of
wine
and
shared
three
apps
and
an
entrée.
I’ll
be
honest
with
you,
we
were
not
that
hungry
but
bc
the
place
looked
so
fancy,
I
figured
portions
would
be
small.
NOPE,
not
here.
We
would’ve
been
fine
with
just
three
apps,
no
entrée,
or
even
two
apps
and
an
entrée.
After
having
the
anchovies
(OMG
–
reminded
me
of
my
last
visit
to
Spain),
the
French
fries
(with
homemade
mustard
and
ketchup
and
enough
to
feed
five)
and
spicy
tuna
egg
rolls
(was
good,
but
not
my
favorite),
we
didn’t
even
want
our
entrée
but
I’m
glad
we
got
it.
The
lambchops
were
great.
Not
gamey
at
all.
It
sat
on
a
bed
of
sautéed
mixed
mushrooms
which
was
good
but
just
a
tad
bit
overly
salty,
otherwise
I
would’ve
taken
it
home
and
heated
it
up
with
rice
for
lunch.
Anyway,
I
have
to
say,
I
was
quite
impressed
with
this
place.
Although
it
had
fancy
vibes,
the
ambiance
was
still
kinda
lowkey;
didn’t
get
that
snooty
feel
I
was
expecting.
This
would
be
a
great
place
for
a
date
night,
family,
friends,
or
just
solo!
We
will
def
be
back
to
visit
bc
the
food
and
wine
were
both
good,
and
service
was
excellent,
thanks
to
Curtis.
