Love, love, love this new spot in Los Gatos! Best feature is extensive list of wines available by the glass! You can also order in 3oz pours so you can enjoy tasting more delicious wine. Also, the menu recommends food and wine pairings. Definitely order the beignets for dessert!

An upscale Paris bistro hidden on a side street of Los Gatos. A little overpriced, but a nice experience. You can choose from about 8 different Prix fixe menus, or à la carte (which offers all the same items as are in the Prix fixe menus). Each menu item is listed with a recommended wine pairing, which you can order a full or half glass of. They had a live instrumental band, which played at the perfect volume.

On a warm Sunday evening, after playing card games and sipping on beers, we decided we wanted to grab some heavy apps. The man suggested The Tasting Room and of course, I have to check out the Yelp reviews. Ok, not bad…..4.5 stars, BUT there weren’t many photos of the food so I was not sure what I was getting myself into. We made last minute ressies on Open Table and upon arrival, we were greeted by a well-dressed man in a suit. Although pretty busy for a Sunday evening close to closing time, there were some good seats available; we chose to sit at the bar where we met a nice couple we chatted with all night. Our server Curtis was super friendly, very knowledgeable about the wines and super attentive. We each ordered a glass of wine and shared three apps and an entrée. I’ll be honest with you, we were not that hungry but bc the place looked so fancy, I figured portions would be small. NOPE, not here. We would’ve been fine with just three apps, no entrée, or even two apps and an entrée. After having the anchovies (OMG – reminded me of my last visit to Spain), the French fries (with homemade mustard and ketchup and enough to feed five) and spicy tuna egg rolls (was good, but not my favorite), we didn’t even want our entrée but I’m glad we got it. The lambchops were great. Not gamey at all. It sat on a bed of sautéed mixed mushrooms which was good but just a tad bit overly salty, otherwise I would’ve taken it home and heated it up with rice for lunch. Anyway, I have to say, I was quite impressed with this place. Although it had fancy vibes, the ambiance was still kinda lowkey; didn’t get that snooty feel I was expecting. This would be a great place for a date night, family, friends, or just solo! We will def be back to visit bc the food and wine were both good, and service was excellent, thanks to Curtis.

We hosted a small group event here and I couldn't have been more pleased. The staff went ABOVE and BEYOND to make our event successful. Amazing service, delicious food, and fantastic wine. Thank you.

Service, Wine, Food and Atmosphere were all exceptional. We had a beautiful bottle of Champagne and Wine. Selection was incredible. Started with a charcuterie - absolutely delicious. The Jamon Iberico was a highlight. Lobster ravioli was delicate and lamb lollipops were mouth watering. Live music created the perfect atmosphere and setting. The lady who served us was knowledgeable, helpful and just exceptional overall. Thank you for helping us celebrate our anniversary 🙌. Highly recommend!

Last minute reservation turned into a beautiful dinner. The Tasting House took over the former Cin Cin restaurant location. Tasting House offers wine pairings with small bites and dinners. We decided to order a bottle of bubbly to share and it paired perfectly with everything we ordered. We started with oysters on a half shell and truffle parmigiano pommes frites. For our entrees, we enjoyed the croque madame and the grilled king salmon. Both dishes were delicious and perfectly prepared. Our server Marius was excellent. To end the evening, we enjoyed the chocolate creme brulee and divine housemade beignets with various sauces (warm hazelnut chocolate, espresso anglaise and raspberry coulis. Simply decadent.

We haven't been since the new reopening...the new tasting menu is full of flavor, hot, and presented well. We had exceptional service from our friends Dino and Curtis and Iria and Maria! We will be back. The wine selection is superb as well. The ambiance is so perfect!

Tasting House offered an atmosphere featuring live music that set the right tone, drawing in a diverse crowd from chic patrons to laid-back weekenders. The service was very attentive even during a bustling evening, a true team effort that didn't go unnoticed. While the food hit the comfort mark, it was the wines that truly shone. Without a doubt, Tasting House is the go-to spot for a lively and enjoyable night, whether you're hanging out with friends or sharing a romantic evening.

Love this place! Very cozy, stylish, stunning atmosphere and great food. Service is amazing. We like to come there and also tried a new tasting menu and highly recommend it. It’s quite an experience with very unusual serving and interesting mixture of tastes. I alway feel very warm and welcome when I come there.

This locale is unmatched.. The staff, chef, ambiance and overall vibe is sensational. Chef Ryan is really nailing the cuisine and Curtis is pouring wine pairings that bring the experience to many levels beyond. The wine list has eclectic, rare, and highly sought after wines from all the great vintages. My meal tonight was fantastic, we shared smiles, laughter, and deliciousness all around. Cheers Tasting House! I look forward to our next rendezvous 🙏

Went here for my friends birthday, and just loved it! Super cool vibe, exceptional, friendly service, and they had some live music later that was just spectacular. Low-key and beautiful for a dinner setting. Not a live band where you can’t hear each other talk. The chef was my friends friend, so he came out and chatted with us, then told us about his fave dishes. We were just treated like royalty. The food was absolutely amazing! Will definitely return. Great date night.

Epic experience at the Tasting Room! Staff went above and beyond to make a special birthday celebration. The Beef Wellington was cooked to perfection-champagne and wine pairing was perfect. Jason and Colin arranged for a charcuterie to go, even offered plates and silverware to make the Sunset in the Treehouse at Loma Prieta Winery an experience we will never forget!

Live in Los Gatos and can't believe it took us this long to head over there. Did a double-date night with our closest friends and it was...all that and then some. Paul our server was pure gold. Curtis the Sommelier delivered again and again (with style). The menu options could be explored again and again. We probably did 8-10 courses and everything was a serious hit. It's not cheap, but it's totally worth it. Looks like we have a new regular spot.

We had the best first experience at the Tasting House this weekend. Got an outdoor table on the patio which had all the cute European vibes and the perfect amount of sun and shade. We immediately were offered the champagne flight which we did and got a great walk-through of what we were tasting and each one was great. Love the delicacy of the champagne glasses they used too. The servers were so authentic and truly added to the ambiance. The caviar menu is perfect and the blini were some of the freshest I've ever had. Perfect spot for a lunch date, and the indoors looked very swanky as well. Will have to try that next.

4.5 stars, really. A nice selection of food, with suggested wine pairings. The food was great; the service friendly; the selection and quality of the wines excellent - albeit a bit expensive. We'll be back.

An absolute treasure in the heart of downtown Los Gatos. Wonderful ownership/management and staff. Very knowledgeable sommeliers and fromager. Incredible cheese shop, incredible wine selection, and excellent food, in a fantastic atmosphere! For brunch, I love starting with champagne and their fresh oysters, followed by chicken and waffles. Great bottle prices, even more so if you join the wine club!

We LOVED our dinner at the Tasting House. I had the European wine and food pairing experience and my fiancé had the French pairing experience. The food and wine were delicious. Our favorite was the beef Wellington. The live music was great. Dino and Curtis were excellent servers/bar tenders. We will definitely be back!!

I love this place for multiple reasons. They do excellent wine and food pairings, and the food is amazing. I’ve had multiple dishes and enjoyed them all, but especially love the duck confit egg rolls. Their shop next door has a wide selection of wines, cheeses, chocolates, pickled items, dry pastas etc to purchase to go. I’ve made client gift baskets here, as well as a picnic basket to take to Music in the Park. Great service, friendly clientele, and excellent quality in every way.

Sat for 50 minutes before our first wines showed up and another 30 for our soup and salad. Forgot half our order. Received duck rolls instead of tuna- I hate duck. No offer to remove from the bill even though we didn’t eat it. Ribs were either under cooked and fatty or so tough we couldn’t get anything off the bone. So……below average food and sub par service. The waitress was nice and basically just had too many tables. The wine list is diverse and of pretty good quality. The cheese selection is also good. I’d say save your money for dinner. Lots of higher quality places in the area for a fraction of the cost. Save this place for cheese and wine.
