This was a cool spot. We flew in from Dallas and needed a bite to eat. This sports bar was across the street from our and several hotels. Once inside we were immediately pleased with the atmosphere. The food was tasty and the Drinks were the bomb! The bartender Mark and bar hand Ray were absolutely Amazing. If you're in the area I would recommend a stop in!

The bald guy working the patio on 1/18 was a snippy a$$hat. Walked up to us and said “ what do you want to drink” so I asked chrome dome what do you have on tap. I guess that was asking too much because I could tell he was super annoyed by me asking that and the look on his face I swear…. So we got our food and the didn’t come back one single time while we ate. Not one time. I would have liked some mayo because that cheesesteak was dry as hell. But like I said just completely ignored us after we got our food. Then after we were finished and clearly pissed off he worked up the courage to admit that he “neglected you guys back here. Sorry I gave you two drinks for free” I love paying for terrible service and attitude. Everyone else was getting service back there except for us. Do better Rusty’s

Got the local favorite and it was so good! I want to go back to Florida to try more of their food! The gator bites were also really good but I didn't get any pictures of it because we all ate it up haha Loved it

Really enjoyed it here. The layout of the place is nice and you could easily fit larger parties here without feeling too cramped. Of the other Rusty's I've been to, the bar isn't as large. We started off with Calimari. My girlfriend got the Philly Cheese Steak and the Rum Bucket. I got Fish and Chips and a double Captain & Coke. The calamari was really good, and the marinara sauce it came with was chunky with tomatoes, and I really enjoyed the flavor. It wasn't watery of taste like it came from a can. The Philly was full of grilled onions and tasted delicious. My girlfriend enjoyed it. The Fish and Chips was good. I was filling up on the breading and needed to start picking out just the fish to eat near the end, because I was getting so full. It wasn't greasy, it had a nice crunch. The tarter sauce had a strong garlic taste, which I wasn't too thrilled about. Overall, it was a good first visit at this establishment.

First timers. Atmosphere: large dinning room, a little on the dark side with plenty of TV’s. Great place to watch a game inside or outside. Nice outside bar and seating area. Video game room for big & little kids. Menus smelled like dirty dish rags, so not a good start. Food: we both had the grilled fish sandwich. My wife had it with fries and I had it with rice & beans. The fish sandwich was served on a brioche bun with tomato, lettuce, and onion. Tartar and coke slaw served on the side. I’m a big fish sandwich connoisseur and always looking for the best. Must say this was an excellent fish sandwich!!! Maybe the best I had in Ft Myers area. They advertise is being fresh hand cut haddock. It was a generous portion and cooked perfectly. They do offer it blackened or fried as well. I’m going back for the grouper Rueben, but would definitely order the haddock sandwich again! Misc: bathrooms were clean, specials daily ( Monday night 99 cent fresh oysters), and live music on various days. Location is right off Daniels and close to interstate. I would definitely give this a try😎. We’ll go back for sure!

This is a great little bar and a strip mall. It's pretty large and has a great menu. We went there when they had a live band that was awesome.

Always amazing service and fresh oysters! Be warned their salads are monsters you will not be able to finish them.

Went here this evening First the food was amazing Secondly I held great conversation with most of the staff, especially Sarah. Although one of the girls was a bit rude don’t remember her name but she was wearing a hat. Would definitely recommend this place, not going to let one person ruin this new found gem for me 🙂 EDITED came back sat outside had a lovely conversation with my server Sarah Jo, I ordered the Fried grouper and sweet potatoes food came out hot and was delicious! Sarah was very attentive and so sweet. Definitely im falling in love with this new found gem of mine❤️

This is a great local spot with a nice chill atmosphere! They have plenty of TVs, arcade games, cornhole and jenga outside, as well as other types of entertainment. Depending on which day of the week it is, they have live music, awesome DJs, or bar games where you can win free drinks and Rusty's gift cards. I frequent this place often and will continue. I've always had great food, great service, and nothing but compliments for everyone working there. To the staff, thank you for everything! Your hard work and kindness do not go unnoticed!!

If I could give 0 stars I would. Don’t bother going at night for a drink and bite to eat. The patrons are so loud and drunk you can’t hear your conversation on the inside. The staff is beyond RUDE. It took 35 minutes for someone to wait on my friend and I and that only transpired because she flagged someone down. You don’t have no assigned waiters. They had 2 guys bring our appetizers out who were clearly dealing with trash. We seen them carrying waste baskets prior to waiting. After appetizers we waited another 40 mins to flag another staff down to order two clam chowders which had no clam or potato’s in it. Just a bowl of warm milk with green onions in it was what it tasted like I will NEVER return. Definitely need new staffing. They have a bunch of rude prejudice young kids working here.

The Mahi tacos were excellent. Highly recommended. I ate by myself in the uncrowded dining room. Waitress never came by to refill my drink and had to ask for my check. Food is excellent (5 stars) but staff may need additional training

The restaurant was getting ready for a busy evening and could feel the hype in the air. However that did not hold them back from giving excellent customer service. Very much a team effort to check in on us and stay on top of our order. The food was excellent and tasty. The price was reasonable for seafood and will definitely visit again.

9 pm, We started out at a nearby restaurant that stated they were open until 10 pm, but pretty much barely served us a drink and would not prepare any food. We decided at 9:30 to try Rusty's, should have come here 1st! Great service, Great Wings! and open till 1am. We felt very fortunate to have found Rusty's and if we return to the area, we wouldn't miss this stop! Thank you and much success!

Friendly staff, but everything tasted off. Food tasted poor, rum runner was barely drinkable. Only thing that I enjoyed was the clam chowder. They were out of oysters, so didn't get to try those. But honestly I've had better food at McDonald's.

The service was horrible the waitress didn't say anything to us and threw the menu at us. The tea tasted like watered down sugar. I ordered the tuna bowl and didn't die my expectations. It didn't come ina bowl, the tuna was weird and the sauce it wasn't hot but it set my nostrals on fire and had my eyes watery.., for anyone who will read this to reassure you that I'm not being dramatic I had my 2 friends try it to make sure it wasn't me and they didn't like it either. It may be a required taste but I don't recommend it. The appetizers was good, I'm not a big friend of calamari but that was good the fritters were over cooked but still great. So my experience for a bday wasn't to bad but I won't be coming back.

Always have a great time. The bartenders are great and even more special with the attention they give us and our dogs. Kiah’s always smiling, knows our order (lol), and is always so great with our family. A favorite drink ran out and was changed. She immediately asked the manager or owner to bring it back and thankfully it was!! Loyalty definitely speaks volumes.

Indoor and outdoor seating. Outdoor has a dedicated bar, live music, etc. Food was average, drinks were tasty. Waitress was nice but forgot us several times, not ant issue we all had our drinks. Overall cool place to have fun and grab dinner!

Service was not very good at the bar. Took a long time to get a drink and then a really long time for our shots. The food was okay, my husband asked for mayo twice and never got any. Might give it one more chance Update: We gave it a second chance today. Our waiter was Graham and he was excellent! Our food was good. Very happy to have a new spot close to home!

Great food with a fun atmosphere. Turkey Ruben with a side of loaded tots was delicious. The salads are HUGE!!! Definitely a fun place to listen to live music or watch football.

Have eaten here many times before but this was the worse experience I've had here. Waitress we had made ordering strange, she was awkward and not attentive. I've always gotten the same thing when I come but she said that it couldn't be done the way I wanted (fried grouper with cheese tater tots no bacon on side). We ordered a dozen oysters, pretzel app, and our entrees were both fried grouper. A bowl of cheesy tots (appetizer) came and was placed on our table which was confusing as we did not order it, waited for the waitress well over 5 minutes, she finally came over and took the tots and I explained again what I had wanted and she said that our food would be out soon and that she would have to correct what she put in as she put cheese fries not tots. Our food came out, his was fried grouper and mine was beer battered grouper, which was not what I ordered. A man came over and asked how we were and we told him we ordered oysters but it never came, he went to the computer and I'm assuming added the oysters to our order. Oysters came last to the table and were probably the best thing at the table, but again waited and waited for any server to come by to ask for hotsauce. The waitress would disappear and out of the hour or so we were there we saw her 3 or 4 times. Had to ask for check, was not offered dessert or asked if we needed anything the whole time we were there from the original waitress. Just all around awkward and disappointing experience.

We went with a group of 9, so we expected some issues but were still surprised that some orders didn't even get submitted. Partially because of a change in shifts as we were notified ahead of time. No problem with that. We even waited to order as we weren't in a hurry. The food was great, and the oncoming waitress was super. Just think that they need a better process for shift changes.

Ate lunch today at the Ft Myers location. Took a long time to get drinks. My hubby & our friend got their cooked appetizers 30 minutes before my oysters came out- ordered a dozen got 6 tiny ones. Entrees were ok at best. Our friend got the grouper sandwich & I got the platter…. His portion on the sandwich was more than twice as big as mine & mine cost double. Waitress came back once to check on us. Lunch took more than 2 hours & cost $80!! First & last trip there…. Not impressed!

Waitress took our order. That was the last we saw of her. Ordered Macho Nachos. Came out cold. Even the meat. ☹️. I ordered the oyster basket.. The oysters weren't bad......but I expected better. Never got refills on our drinks. I had to go ask for our check. Just to note....we have been to this Rusty's many times (and enjoyed each visit VERY much), but we have never had service this bad! Friday, at lunch time and only one waitress??

Ordered the oysters which were good but a few of them were very dark and had a smell to them. Those type of oysters should not be served cuz they can cause cross-contamination and literally kill someone. I asked the guy who was working to get me new ones and he happily obliged. Please do not serve shriveled up dark oysters because they are dead and should never be served like that.

Just wanted to share my experience at this place. I gotta say, the best thing about it is that it stays open late, which is a lifesaver. The food was alright, nothing mind-blowing, but it did the job. Service was decent, and I liked the vibe with the inside/outside bar and the spacious dining area.

Great service. The food was good. Sat outside. Would have liked cushions on the seats and more of a designated area for smokers. But I recommend for the excellent service and food. Drinks were decent.

Taco Tuesday is pretty good. Outdoor patio is nice enough; inside not so good. The tacos are small, so order plenty. The beef tacos are good; fish tacos have no taste. And they will probably serve the table tapas style - so be prepared to sort out your orders yourself!

My mother and I got take out here today and we’re very excited to eat it. We got hamburger sliders, fries, coleslaw and pretzel bites. Unfortunately about an hour after ingesting, both of us started vomiting and it has not stopped. And this was the only thing we ate today.

Had patty melt twice and pretzel bites, both were awesome. Service is good, you just don't get one person asking if things are good, but seems the whole staff works as one to make sure you get what you need. Beer is nice and cold, a plus in the warmth of Florida weather

Sports bar with some seriously loud college football fans, cornhole games going on and great outdoor seating. I had the crunchy grouper sandwich and my partner had the crunchy haddock sandwich. They tasted much the same, but the haddock was $9 less, so it seems like it was the better choice. The fish filets were huge and they were crunchy! Sweet potato fries were tasty. Not sure why it's called Rusty"s raw bar, not many raw choices on the menu. There is outdoor seating in the sun and lots of seating in the shade or indoors.

The gator bites were very popular with our large group. The staff was very accommodating and friendly, the service was very good. We are almost everything on the menu and overall everything tasted great. Portion sizes were perfect as well. They have coffee, they serve it in giant cups which was amazing. I only have 2 complaints which are pretty subjective: 1-the coffee (but others might like it) and 2- there was mustard on my burger. I hate mustard. Other than that all 13 members of our group had a wonderful experience at Rusty’s and would definitely go back

Loved the food here, and the bar! Bartenders were great and made excellent recommendations when my partner was unsure of what to get. The food was impressively good as well, and the kitchen is open late. They had a good crowd going, and are dog friendly which I loved.

This place had fantastic food. It's a bar for adults, so not really a family place for kids (if you're wondering, you can get away bringing your kid, there was a family there who brought their toddler). We had dinner inside as the patio was hosting trivia, so there seems to be fun events going on here that you can enjoy after a day in the sun. It's not fine dining but again, the food we ordered was excellent. I'd rate it as a 4 in terms of ambiance, but that food made my rating a 5. When I'm in the area again, Rusty's will be a nice easy evening stop after a day at the pool and needing a little time out. We had 2 dozen steamed clams, the grouper sandwich, and the haddock sandwich, both with fries, both delicious. Check them out.

This was our first time to Rusty's Ft.Myers location. The food was very good (just like the Cape location) but what really made our experience stand out was our server, Lindsay. Lindsay was a breath of fresh air. She is upbeat, kind and very good at her job. Rusty's is fortunate to have such a great employee.

Pretty big place, perfect for enjoy the games with your friends with a very cold beer, food is excellent I asked for a suggestion and they give me the chicken grill sandwich and was awesome, my family did the burgers and were delicius so we coming back the weekend!!!

We went here because it was close to the hotel and had good food. The good was good, but the place was super busy with at least 3 tables for 6 reserved for 7pm they refused to fill. We were told we were on our own. There were 9 of us and last time we were there needed no reservations the place was half empty. We are understanding about waiting. There were 9 of us. All thirsty. All hungry. We cobbled together 2 tables outside where this awesome band was playing but it was too loud for the kids and elders. The kids ordered to go boxes and went to the hotel. We watched for a table inside and stole it when they left since we now had 6 people. There service was pretty good except they were short staffed and sooooo busy they were literally running around. Would I come back? Heck yeah! Just not with 9 people. BTW...those reserved tables sat empty even after we left.

Had the bacon cheeseburger and loaded tots. Very good. David was friendly, and several other servers asked if I needed anything. They were busy but the food was brought to me very quickly. I came here last night and was very impressed with the blackened grouper. Prices seem good, but I didn't buy alcohol. I'll definitely be back when I'm in town again.

Sarah was our server what a pleasant person with a great personality. She took our orders with no problem and knows the menu. Most importantly she clears the table of dirty dishes right away. Thanks Sarah and Rusty’s for a great night!!!
