DONT STAY HERE, BED BUGS. This is the most unacceptable stay of my entire life. Woke up at 1am and found bed bugs all over the bed. Tore the sheets off and found 10+ dead bed bugs on the mattress itself along with blood stains from bed bugs getting squished. This had to be a known problem that has been going on for some time. Based on the dead bugs and the size of the bed bugs, it’s been awhile. To top it all off, when I brought a bed bug I killed downstairs in a cup to show them the problem, they didn’t care. Said sorry we are sold out, we will have maintenance drop by in the morning to deal with it. So I had to pack my stuff in garbage bags and drive 4 hours home at 2am.

For years we have been checking into this location before and after a baseball tournament. This is the second year in a row the hot tub was closed. We choose this location because of the amenities such as the hot tub for a relaxing rest day after a week of baseball. Very Disappointing. Looking for a new place for next year.

Very dirty old dated hotel. Unfortunately used 9000 points. Very embarrassing to call this a Marriott product. Smell of cigarette smoke and uncleanliness noted throughout the property. Room was dated and not maintained, rust, and water stains clearly visible Bed cover stunk, along with sheets and pillows.

We read a lot of reviews and decided to go ahead a book a week at SpringHill Suites in spite of a few bad reviews we read. My husband had surgery at a nearby surgery center and Springhill put us in a very nice room, offered shuttle services to and from appointments, had a lovely continental breakfast every day, the pool was clean and all of the staff was very nice. There's always going to be a few things that are not "perfect" but we were very, very satisfied with our stay at SpringHill Suites. We would not hesitate to stay there again. They do offer rooms to sports teams so there is a risk of some romping around in the rooms near you.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by the most outstanding gentlemen. His name was Farak(sp?), and he was delightful to deal with. The next day, our housekeeper was very sweet, we declined service but she took the trash and gave us bags. Also, I want to make it clear that the room was nice. The TV is awkwardly placed, but it makes sense once you settle in. I am reducing the stars I am giving based on the fact that my wife was intentionally declined a feminine product that was two feet away in a cabinet. She was told rudely that they don't do that kind of thing, even though we had received two just a few days before and told her where they were located. She proceeded to go into a backroom and crash things around for a few seconds and tell us again that they didn't have any. Fortunately the shuttle driver was very sweet, and she knew just where to find them. For what they are charging the service should be nothing but smiles and genuine help.

Judi at the front desk was wonderful. She promptly changed our room after sharing concerns of odor. She also mailed to me my wedding band free of charge. Super service!

This hotel offered a really nice stay. Came in town for a weekend stay and the room had plenty of space. The pull out bed can use an update…really worn out. The beds were a decent size for two average sized adults. Breakfast was waffles (my favorite part; I love when the waffle station was is up and running), meats, eggs, hot and cold cereals, fruits etc. I saw a shuttle but didn’t need that service. Very nice stay. The staff was super friendly warm welcoming and accommodating,

This company refused to refund my money (blaming Expedia) (then Expedia blaming them) after I declined to stay in booked hotel that did not have an amenity operating that was listed on the website as a functioning amenity. So ad says they have this amenity, I check in then ask what floor the hot tub is on and the man said, “Oh, it’s broken.” Then proceeded to state rudely, “You can’t use it anyway, it’s too late.” Which he proceeded to repeat multiple times throughout our conversation, like the damn device wasn’t broken to begin with! Then I asked if it would be fixed tomorrow and he stated no. I only booked this hotel for the HOT TUB. I never even opened the front door to the room, nor did I stay the night. How can a company bill and keep your money if the service was not delivered! Disgusting business practice. Not only was the hot tub broken but so were drinking fountains. Never go here, RUDE staff and unprofessional. I will be writing Marriott.

Rooms were great! My girlfriend and I along with our three kids are traveling and the hotels we have been staying at didn't have the room needed for three kids plus ourselves but with Springhill suites, we not only had the two bedrooms in the room but also had a pull out bed so that all of the kids had a place to sleep! The room was clean! The only problem I had was the beds were pretty small and my girlfriend and I found it hard to sleep together but I am a big guy so I can't blame the room too much! Just wish they had a room with two king beds.

The place is amazing, the reception and service is awesome and the concession area is full with delicious food and drink. Special thanks for Gaven, Haley and Merle at the front desk and all other employees (I do not know their name) for their outstanding dedication for their job.

Clean room, good breakfast choices, and friendly staff. Everything you need in the area for food options and very close to the airport. I have already booked a room for my next trip to Fort Myers.

We stayed here to facilitate the hernia surgery for my partner at UFirst Health. The hotel provided free shuttle to/from the surgery center. Claude, who was our driver most of the time was so wonderful. Everyone at the front desk we met (Merle, Gaven, and Alex) were so kind and helpful. They even gave us packing tape, scissors and a tape measure to ship a box of clothing and shoes home when we realized the bag for my partner would be too heavy for him to carry after the surgery. Having a business area with a dedicated printer made creating a UPS label super easy. And, we loved the thoughtful and interesting breakfast options created by breakfast chef, Lisa. I especially liked that Oak Milk was an option instead of Cow's milk. My breakfast fave was the crustless quiche. We also met Paul, the Engineer who drove the shuttle one time..another kind person. Lastly, the location near the airport and having a couple restaurants across the street was perfect. So, needing to be in a hotel while my partner recuperated, was really just fine. The room had a separate sitting room with a desk (great for me) and...I even used the workout room to lift weights one day.

I have stayed here before with no issue. This time was not very pleasant. The room was dirty. We used the sofa bed (which was extremely uncomfortable) and there was a stuffed animal in the sofa bed. There was a rather large bug in the light in the bathroom. When I turned the shower on, stuff from the drain came out. Cleanliness definitely needs to get worked on.

I was pleasantly surprised with how nice the hotel is. I'm sitting outside by the pool, weather is perfect and it's and its beautiful here. The room was very nice and clean. I'm staying on the first floor and I would recommend it. The breakfast was actually really good. Real bacon and eggs and lots of other things. The coffee wasn't bad either.

I travel a lot for work, and rarely find a place I can rate 5 stars in this price range.. I was very happy with this hotel and will be back when I am in the area! Clean, Safe, and quiet as well as having a hot shower with good water pressure are my priorities in a place. I slept great and even had to turn ac down because it was so cold! This hotel is clearly under great management and I look forward to working in this area again now that I found it.

Music at bar across the street was so loud the walls pulsated and didnt stop until 1:30 AM and sounded like the music was inside the room. Went on for two nights. Then no hot water in the morning to shower both nights. If you want to sleep and warm shower don't stay here. all this for $300. per night

I like this hotel. The location is good (close to the airport, not so far from Fort Myers downtown or the the beaches) and the rates are really good. There are some very good restaurants nearby. I have been here a couple of times and I will come back.

My room was crawling with ghost ants. They were in every area of the room. The overnight staff or evening staff that checked me in was phenomenal and they were very apologetic and we kind of had our giggle when I went to the store and came back with a huge bottle of vinegar to clean the room with. As long as the countertops were wet with vinegar the ants were gone I used 128 Oz a vinegar during my stay. I purchased Ziploc baggies to seal up any food that I had, like chips or whatnot that I may have just folded the bag over and clipped it. The daytime staff had very little people skills I was under impressed with them. When I arrived home I was informed that the manager, by the manager, would be giving me 10,000 points added to my account for the inconvenience of living with hundreds of ghosts ants from Friday to Sunday but when I got the information back from corporate it was 8,000 points. I understand that the the evening and night shift have very options that they can take when it comes to situations like this but nobody during the day shift offered any solutions. I get the Ghost dance are a thing in South Florida because I live in South Florida but the number of ants in this room from the the front door, to the kitchenette area, to the desk, to the entertainment cabinet, to the nightstand, to the AC unit, to the window, to the closet, to the bathroom, to the vanity, to the beds, and all over the walls is rather excessive. For some reason my phone will only let me post one of the dozens of photos that I have not to mention the videos that I have taken of these little worker guys doing their business. Obviously this hotel management does not take it seriously to have regular pest control out treating these rooms.

Rooms need updating badly. AC smelled like it needed to be cleaned but air freshener sheets were placed inside to hide the stale air smell,,,,,, it didn't work. Drapes had small holes The carpet was old and dirty. Positive note, the front desk staff was very nice and location to airport was ideal.

Awesome place to stay and extremely convenient location. Clean room and bathroom with a breakfast the next morning. Had to come back to the area a day later and booked again. Also - extremely affordable.

Great location, Clean room, but as we attempted the on phone app to open doors, it worked occasionally, we were told at 1st that it could be on 2 phones (it could not) We had to ask for standard key cards (wishing they had just offered) Got up the next day and about 9 or little earlier we tried to attend the free breakfast, but it was gone and put away. Tried taking a shower before leaving to head home...COLD water only! How can a place like a Marriott let all this happen? We chose Marriott because we didn't think we would have issues. Not pleased.

Too soon for review but first impressions lead me to believe a great value for your dollar. I recently paid twice as much for a lot less. Clean and quiet. We’ll kept. I’ll post after check out.

As I see it: A guide for the visually handicapped and their caretakers. We reserved a room for two nights and left after only one. They refused to refund our money for the second night. The lighting was so bad In the lobby breakfast area that I could not see to properly attach the lid on my coffee. It popped off, spilled all, over my chest, burning me. We had to leave because the hotel is unsafe for me. I’m pretty upset they kept our money under these circumstances. Lighting is bad in the room and hall also. Breakfast food is yogurt and bagels ☹️. I don’t like either so did not eat. Very disappointing and angered over them keeping my money.

Checkin was quick & easy. Room & hotel was clean & organized. My only issue was the room key and new door card reader. The front desk failed to provide me directions on how to pass the card over the reader and it required me to go back downstairs at 10pm at night after working all day. They should advise guests in advance to avoid that frustration. If not for that…would have been 4 stars.

Great for an affordable short stay. Only problem is the coffee they serve is so week it tastes like dishwater!

I absolutely loved the staff. Beware, do *not* get a hotel room facing the pool because across the street is an outdoor bar and restaurant. It was really, really hard to fall asleep on a Saturday night with the music (with heavy bass) coming through the walls.

Horrible women at the front desk. I arrived to the hotel after booking a room through bookings.com and it seem to have angered the front desk lady and immediately gave me attitude. She claimed the my credit card was not going through and exclaiming to the entire lobby full of people that my card is declined very loudly. I definitely had money on the card but I gave in and offered my father's credit card and again she said declined very loudly for everyone to hear and followed that with " I think there is no money in your account!" This angered my mother and she couldn't hold her mouth any longer. She told the lady she was being very rude and even abusive to an older gentleman that asked a question that was asked to another front desk lady and she cut him off and said "no" abruptly and snarked at his question. The lady then told us she can have us kicked out and then we told her let's just finish the transaction and she said " you know what ? No get out of my lobby before I have police escort you out of here" we left with pleasure. Please stay away from this disgrace of a hotel. Atleast until they remove those two women at the front desk. I only caught one of their names I think was Danielle or something with a D and she wears a shiny cowgirl belt. We went to a hotel that was even 20 dollars cheaper named Home2 suites by Hilton just down the road and this hotel was amazing, clean and new we had a good laugh at the front desk when I told them what these two people at Springhill made me go through. Embarrassing, rude and smells like cigarettes.

Booked for 2 nights- Woke up after the first night to find ants all over. Maintainance came and said guests bring in ants sometimes!! No other room was available per the front desk- so we would have to repack our belongings, leave them at the front desk until another room became available. I told the front desk lady I was very upset and told her I understood it wasn't her fault to which she said "That's right- it's not my fault". That's when I decided cancel the next night and get out! We are Bonvoy members and travel a good amount. Would never stay here again!!!

Room smells musty. Have two other groups with us and their rooms smell worse than ours. Staff was not overly friendly and it was hard to get their attention when waiting at the front desk. There’s a bar across the parking lot and the music is so loud. I heard it playing until midnight. Couldn’t sleep!

I’m a Marriott guy. Love Marriott. This place was ok. Got the job done. Toilet had issues. Breakfast could use some improvements.

Convenient parking, swimming pool and hot tub. Great for families. Spacious room with work area, double beds and a sofa bed. There is a refrigerator and ample closet space in the room. A standard buffet breakfast was included and has assorted pastries, oatmeal, eggs, frittata. It was ok. The hotel was set back in what looks like a business area (close to Gartner, etc).

We spent just one night and it was so disappointing. The hostess was so nice at the beggining and at the end of the day we just ask her if we can spend one more night, she said no cause they were full, but then, we saw the exact room available on booking. We booked it, and ask another time the hostess and she got super mad with us, she started shouting us why we booked it if she said that they were fill. We answer: it was avaliable on booking, and she said: It’s wrong! Now I have to cancel it. Nothing make sense, terrible service. This is not the way to treat your costumers😡 totally unrespectful.

The location is great to the airport which we needed. Everyone has been very nice and accommodating. Our room had an old moldy smell, not over bearing and the ac barely blew. With a full family already settled for bed we opted not to switch rooms but hopefully they will get it fixed. Room was clean! Wasn't too sure about the pool and jacuzzi as the water looked green. Was told it was tested and was fine.

The rooms are very dated and hot. The AC didn't keep the room cool. I was charged for the internet because my young kids connected their tablets to high-speed WiFi instead of the regular one. upon check-in, I was told they have free WiFi but they didn't tell me that the kids could connect to the costly high-speed internet. I will not be staying here again until they do some renovating and get better customer service.
