Such a beautiful hotel! Not all pools were open, but they communicated that before our stay and we knew what to expect. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Very spacious room and such pretty grounds. We had a great time here! Only two minor issues- the bed felt hard for our liking, and the in room fridge would not get cold- we ended up putting bags of ice to keep it cold. Overall a wonderful stay.

My husband and I arrived on January 8 for a 4-night stay. I had booked a King size room with a corner view. As soon as we arrived at reception, we found the receptionist unwelcoming and didn't share a single greeting to welcome us. He made no effort to make himself understood or to answer our questions. This is the first image we have of the hotel, and first impressions count for a lot. Next, we go to our room 1702, and as soon as we push open the door, we see a pretty room with 3 bay windows. The problem is that these 3 windows overlook a huge construction site next to the hotel, the view is despicable and the noise from the trucks incessant. Unable to accept this situation, I asked to change rooms to have a view other than the building site. The receptionist told me there was room 1126, where the noise would be the same but the view would be a little different from the building site. Worst of all, he told me we'd have to pay an extra 50 dollars a night for this room, and that we'd already paid 700 dollars a night. We were so tired that we agreed to change rooms. Every morning, we were woken up at 7:00 am by the noise of trucks and the construction site. How can a hotel of this category not warn its clientele that a noisy construction site is underway... it's a minimum to ensure transparency and why not lower its prices? Worse still, how dare we ask for a supplement for a room where all we have left is a bay window, and the noise is just as bad? We're in a hurry to check out tomorrow and will never come back here.

My friend and I stayed at this resort a week ago for two nights and loved every minute. The moment we checked in they treated us so good. The front desk was very helpful and attentive. We loved our room so much we ordered in for dinner that night because we didn't want to leave the room. We were room 1327 and 1330. The rooms were absolutely beautiful and newly renovated. We spent the afternoon at one of the large pools and enjoyed an appetizer and a couple cocktails. The service was very good at the pool bar/restaurant, and we received our order within 15 minutes of ordering. The grounds are beautifully maintained. There is a lot to do for fun activities at this hotel. The resort private beach is still closed due to hurricane damage but set to open very soon. We spent Thursday morning in the fitness room and enjoyed the very nice machines that they had. We then grabbed a quick lunch and enjoyed our time at the spa. The spa was wonderful and lots of amenities to offer. We checked out Thursday afternoon and said we both would absolutely come back and enjoy this resort. I have already told several people that if they are looking for a getaway to check this place out, it's beautiful.

For a fun filled getaway in the Ft Myers area, this place in Bonita Springs/ Estero is top-notch. Great for families with kids, as there are lots of kids' activities and a great adult getaway. We stayed for the weekend and enjoyed the adult pool and Jacuzzi before attending a nearby wedding. The food at the pool ba was delightful, just a couple more dollars than a local restaurant, and a friendly staff. Saturday, while sitting by the pool, the restaurant had a guitar player singing out some of the great songs of the past. the Late night grocery store inside the hotel open till midnight, had a great friendly staff. We stopped in several times for coffees and teas and then again at night for a sweet treat. Ice cream was delightful and enough for two to share. This had to be my 6 o more time at this resort over the past 20 years but without kids this time. Really kept up with great updates and a beautiful resort!

My wife had a conference on this hotel so our 7 years old and myself were able to tag alone and enjoy the facilities. The view from our room which it was on the 9th floor facing the pools was beautiful, we sat on the balcony at night and early mornings to enjoy the quiet view. The staff was very nice, all the pool staff were always smiling and assisting with questions and always keeping an eye on everyone to maintain our safety at all times. We heard food was not the best but my son and I had the burger at the pool and did not disappointed, were not as horrible as some people were telling us. There is plenty of parking and also a covered garage, the elevators were pretty fast and efficient. The facilities were clean at all times. The area that I used the most was the pool and the slides which all were working without issues and the lazy river was clean and nice to enjoy. There it was an incident with a teenager that pressed the stop slide button towards the end of the day and he was taking out of the pool to talk to his parents. It was a nice sight as they were held accountable for ruining the rest of the kids time on the water slides. This happened around 4:45 or 5:00 PM and the area closes at 6:00 PM, so thankfully it was only a little time.

The experience staying at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point Hotel was a wonderful experience! The pool, the food, especially the service was amazing! We went with a huge group of people... of course we went on a day everyone was there which means we needed to change our reservation and this was done through the group... and there was a miscommunication so when we arrived there was no room for us as we arrived a day early! Customer service did their miraculous juggling to get us a room! The room was good... it's time to replace the bed in the room I was in and the pillows are definitely not the nice experience pillows I use at home! That is way they had 1 star removed. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, except the bed!

This is an awesome resort that's perfect for families, especially with lots of kids. The hotel includes multiple pools, some adults only, multiple water slides, and a lazy river. It also has a private island with free boat access with a boat going each way every half hour. The island is sheltered and has white sand beaches with lots of shells and small surf. Multiple golf courses nearby for play as well My favorite part of this resort is the staff though is the staff. They are friendly and attentive. You'll getvthe same high level of service no matter what time of year you come, busy summer or slow off season. The pool had a bar and restaurant centrally located with wait staff taking orders for food and drinks at your deck chair as well. There is a snack and drink concession stand in the beach as well. Would recommend this place to anyone and wish I had more time to spend here.

Fantastic experience overall!! Resort blew our expectations with the amount of water features/pools/slides/lazy river/green space for kids to play! So many great outdoor areas that are spacious and it didn’t seem over crowded at all! Not to mention great restaurants and food!! If you’re looking for a great cocktail you MUST go to Tarpon Bay and get one from THE BEST bartender ever, Drew!! Makes everything delicious, but THE BEST is his special spicy margarita!! Must order!! Overall all staff and customer service was top notch as well! One of our favorite vacation spots to date!

During our recent local staycation, we had the pleasure of staying at the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point for the second time. Our experience reaffirmed our fondness for this resort, and we can confidently say that we will be returning in the future. The resort exudes a fun, tropical, and coastal vibe that perfectly balances family-friendly elements with an upscale ambiance. The beautiful property is a haven of relaxation, surrounded by a lush tropical landscape that adds to the overall resort feel. We were impressed by the multiple pools available, catering to both kids and adults. The recent reopening of the lazy river and water slides was met with excitement and proved to be fantastic additions to the already impressive amenities. From the friendly and accommodating staff to the well-designed suite, our stay at Hyatt Regency Coconut Point was nothing short of exceptional. The suite was particularly well-suited for families, offering a separate room for parents and a sleeper sofa for the kids. The multiple TVs, dining area for in-room meals, and balconies added to the comfort and convenience of our stay. The overall vibe of the hotel is fun, welcoming, and coastal, creating a sense of accessibility and ease. The resort strikes the perfect balance between upscale and family-friendly, ensuring that guests of all ages feel right at home. Whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or an adventure-filled family vacation, this resort has something for everyone. In terms of dining options, we were pleased with the choices available. The breakfast buffet at Tanglewood provided a great start to the day for both adults and kids. The selection and quality of the food were impressive, catering to different dietary preferences and offering a variety of options to satisfy everyone's tastes. For a more upscale dinner experience, Tarpon Bay proved to be an excellent choice. The restaurant delivered exceptional service, delectable dishes, and a refined dining atmosphere. However, Tanglewood remained a great dinner option as well, ensuring that guests have a range of dining experiences to choose from. We also had the chance to explore the other amenities offered by the resort, such as the coffee shop, bar, and spa. Each of these establishments met our expectations in terms of quality and service. The spa, in particular, caught our attention with its inviting ambiance, and we look forward to indulging in its services during future visits. In conclusion, we highly recommend the Hyatt Regency Coconut Point for a family staycation. The resort's fun, tropical, and coastal atmosphere combined with its exceptional amenities, friendly staff, and varied dining options make it an ideal destination for families. Whether you're lounging by the pool, enjoying a delicious meal, or simply immersing yourself in the relaxing ambiance, this resort offers a memorable experience for guests of all ages.

We came for a seminar and had several rooms. They were incredibly accommodating and responsive to all our needs. Even when one of our rooms began to leak water from the bathroom they efficiently moved us to a new room. Sam, one of the guys at the front desk, was cheerful, chatty, and understanding. It was a wonderful stay! 10/10 recommend staying here. Beautiful building and great entertainment! Thank you to everyone!

Loved the space and had a great time. The property is new and well-maintained. Amenities are great value for money. My only suggestion is better training for front desk staff. No people were waiting but the staff who checked us in was in a super hurry and only handed us the key and assumed we already know everything about the hotel. Even we had to ask him "Please can you let us know where are the elevators and to get to our room?". Other than that everything was perfect.

I absolutely love this Hyatt Resort & Spa! I have had multiple stays over the last several years and it never disappoints. My sister and I were there for a special visit this time and everyone made every effort to make our stay all the more enjoyable. I was assisted by the Concierge, Gail - The Hotel Ambassador, Scott who assisted with our luggage, Candace at the Tarpon Bay Restaurant and others who surpassed expectations in kindness and service! Thank you all again for an amazing experience and I will continue to recommend your location to all my friends and family!!

Service and rooms are decent but not surprisingly great or anything. The amenities are what keeps us coming back. I’ll tell you what if they would step up the quality and variety of this food and the ambiance a little this place would be amazing. If you don’t count the slides and river the place is just mediocre for a lot of money.

This hotel is top notch! So much to do. It’s extremely clean & the lobby smells like a spa day. Definitely worth every penny & I will be returning… even though I live 10 minutes away. Perfect spot for a vacation or a staycation! Also, all of the staff are extremely friendly. Huge plus!

This is a nice hotel located about 20ish minutes from the airport. The beds were comfy, and the shower pressure was pretty good. The only downside was the food there actually made me sick. I wouldn't recommend eating here. They do have very beautiful courtyards and pools! Their marketplace was extremely expensive as well. Surprisingly, more than the airport for a lot of items. Besides those things, the hotel is quite nice!

Beautiful hotel with elegant, wide hallways that can beat be described as grand indeed. The amenities are well placed and convenient entertainment. Staying here on business but may consider returning for a leisure visit. The room was on an upper floor; spacious, with a breathtaking view of the city and Everglades beyond. Particularly enjoyed relaxing on the balcony at the end of the day and watching the light show of a distant storm fading into the night. It was a memorable moment. The property is not new but is exceptionally well.maintained and the service is outstanding. Recommended.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Coconut Point. The staff and service was friendly and helpful. There is an outdoor restaurant that has a variety of menu choices, and of course the restaurants inside the resort serve amazing food! There are pools, slides, putt-putt golfing, lazy river, nice gazebo overlooking the pond, hammocks, and beautiful, lush views! The rooms/suites are more than adequately equipped for a week long stay. There is also a snack store on the property that offers all kinds of food & drinks.

Hello, I just wanted to say how pleased my significant other and I were with our stay at the Coconut point resort and spa. It was very welcoming to walk into the resort and immediately be greeted. I wanted to specifically point out how welcoming and great the concierge, Alexis was to us. She explained everything we needed to know while being so nice and with the biggest smile. We were so pleased with the whole stay because of Alexis. From walking in to exiting, it was great and we will be back!

Went for breakfast. Food good, but way too expensive at $72 for 2 people before tip. Service was friendly but did miss some items. Kitchen was pretty slow when ordering off the menu (vs buffet).

The rooms and facilities were very comfortable. This is a resort and Hyatt does everything right. They have done a fantastic job recovering from Hurricane Ian. They came back within months of devastation. Some elevators and the lazy river are still closed though. There are photos of the damage wrought by Ian in the lobby. The comeback was amazing and my family enjoyed a great Easter weekend at the resort. The kids loved the egg hunts and other Easter festivities on hand. We talked to a woman working in one of the gift shops and she told us a memorable story. The same gift shop she worked in prior to Ian was privately owned. After the hurricane, the company that owned it out of Hawaii decided to close this location. Hyatt stepped in and took it over the shop and saved this woman's and others' jobs. She added that Hyatt management is a big step up from the prior owners. One last note that I will add is this resort runs into the very expensive range for me. I always consider the cost when doing my ratings and I know I would not give a 5 to a place this expensive. However, the recovery from Ian and the story told by the nice woman working in the gift shop made Hyatt and Coconut Point the best in my book and therefore this place has earned a 5 despite the high cost.

Beautiful grounds and lovely hotel. Enjoyed whoever decorated this site. Beautiful fixtures and furniture in a hint of mid-century modern. Rooms were clean and comfortable . The staff was very friendly down to our bellman who was charming.

Every single person I encountered -- the bell hop, the reception desk, the spa staff, the catering staff, the housekeeping staff -- were exceptionally friendly. The smiles and warm attention I received from the staff at Coconut Point was noticeable and made for such a pleasant stay. The rooms were comfortable and spacious and the grounds were lovely. Would highly recommend this resort as a place to go to feel cared for.

Absolutely gorgeous hotel with beautiful grounds! Dueling water slides, a lazy river and several pools! On-site dining options and the food was delicious. Tried the filet and the snapper Diablo and both were phenomenal! Courteous, friendly staff!

For our first time experience, we are very pleased with EVERYTHING!! Especially the amazing customer service Hugo provided during our pool visit. We couldn't have picked a better place to celebrate a birthday. We will definitely be back for sure. A big thank you to Hugo, and all the staff.

I have been here 3 times for conferences. The staff in this hotel are second to none. The boardwalk is beautiful going down to the boat to take to the beach. Everywhere you look there is a beautiful pool or outdoor space. The rooms were very spacious and comfy! And they recycle!♻️I really need to bring my husband here!❤️

We had a wonderful experience at the Coconut Hyatt. Every staff member we encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff were incredible. I wanted to specifically mention Sam, the front desk clerk, was especially amazing. This was a weekday getaway for my daughter’s 12th birthday. He went out of his way to mention her birthday to other staff, so everyone she encountered wished her a happy birthday, which made our stay extremely memorable. We took the boat tour to the private island and your captain and first mate were so inviting and knowledgeable about the area as well. And, of course, we encountered a pod of dolphins almost on command. They made us locals feel welcomed and special. The room was wonderful, clean, and perfect to celebrate her birthday.

Way overpriced, more expensive than a Ritz Carlton! Very nice hotel but definitely not worth the $500-1000 price tag per night! They are probably going for the after covid revenge travelers, but as a local from Miami regularly going there for many years, it’s just not affordable anymore. You’re better off renting a nice hotel around and paying a real water park.

The hotel itself is very modern and updated. The staff was friendly and helpful. However I did have 2 small gripes; whatever you do do NOT stay in a room near the elevators if you are a light sleeper. All you will hear all night is the whirring of elevator cables. Also if you commute and being your own food and need to reheat; the microwaves are outside. It’s rather uncomfortable and hot and there are gnats and little flying bugs everywhere. I’m not sure if it’s due to the recent hurricane but I did not care for carrying my hot food all the way back up to my room. Aesthetically, however, beautiful hotel. Very cool balcony.

  • 4/5 Ryan W. 1 year ago on Google
Pretty nice resort tucked away from the main road with plenty of amenities. Check in was a disaster with a long wait, but the wait only got longer after getting the key and going to the elevators. This hotel has a big issue with their elevators as I had to wait 10 minutes from getting my key to actually stepping on an elevator…ridiculous (see photo of the line!). Aside from that repeating issue (only one time did I not wait to board an elevator) the resort itself is great. The multiple pools, slides and lazy river is very nice. The guest rooms were clean, comfortable and gave a great nights sleep. Staff was very friendly as well!

  • 5/5 Sarah L. 1 year ago on Google
The slides and lazy river were surprisingly decent. Didn't travel with kids, but seemed like a great place for families. They had planned activities for kids all day every day. There was also adults only pool (no swim up bar though). Best part is that it's also a short walk or (free) shuttle to Hyatt's private (free) beach on the gulf. The restaurants were as expensive as expected for hotel food. We were there for work and the catered food/bar was very good. Clean rooms!

  • 4/5 Chris S. 2 years ago on Google
Beautiful grounds and rooms. Awesome private beach just a boat ride away. Conference buffets were good but not awesome. Cool beans coffee shop served very good Starbucks coffee. Pools were great and service from the bar was prompt and courteous. Pillows and beds in the rooms were not up to my liking and the air conditioning didn’t seem to be cooling to the right temperature. The automatic lights in the bathroom was a nice touch.

What a terrific place! Clean, updated, great staff! Shout out to Sam at the front desk for all of his help. Great place for a conference or convention. The meeting rooms are terrific! There's a wonderful upscale shopping mall directly across the way. The are all kinds of restaurants and movie theaters and miniature golf for the kids just down the street. Also a great beach you can get to vis a boat ride by the hotel. And the water park well its just the bomb!!

We had our wedding at the Hyatt back in December and I’m so glad that we picked the Hyatt as our venue! The entire staff at the Hyatt from the wedding coordinators to the servers went above and beyond, not just for our wedding but for all of our guests and throughout our entire stay. I can’t say that I have one single complaint! Shout out to Jamie, and Kelsey who is no longer there. They were fantastic to work with and made everything seamless for us. If you are looking for a wedding venue look no further. There are many activities for you and your guests, the rooms are well appointed and how can you beat the location! Thank you Hyatt. You made our wedding the most happiest day of our lives!

This resort is beautiful and it is family friendly for being such a fancy resort! Here are the pros and cons: Pros: • staff is friendly, hospitable, and helpful • there is a coffee shop downstairs which is convenient instead of going to a restaurant. • the lazy river and slides were enjoyable and super fun! I definitely recommend going in the slides and lazy river while you stay • bedrooms are clean and the bathrooms are also sanitary as well! • hallways are very sanitary! • room service is great! • the interior and exterior of the resort is stunning! • The fitness center is excellent, spacious, and the equipment is also good! • there is a boat that takes you to the beach • the beds are comfortable Cons: •for the water slides, kids have to be at least 48 inches to be able to go in the slides. the lifeguard measured my little brother and he was 47.5 inches (ONLY .5 INCHES FROM 48!) but the lifeguard didn’t let my brother go in the slide. that’s ridiculous! Overall, I love this resort and this is the best resort I’ve been to!! I only had 1 con of this resort, I absolutely love this place and I recommend this resort to stay at for families!! 🫶🏻

It was a great overall experience staying here except for when I went to enjoy the day at the pool with my family and ordered a drink. I handed the server my ID when she asked and then 15 minutes goes by and her manager comes out. He said that the server had some concerns about my ID and he wanted to see it again. I take my ID out again and show him, he stares at it and tries to tell me that it is going to expire in 20 days which it is not it does not expire until 2029 and continues to be rude. He also told me there is no smoking out by the pool which I was not even doing. When I got my drink after 25 minutes, it tasted like there was no alcohol in it and I'm sure I was charged for an alcoholic beverage. It really did ruin my day because of how I was treated and I had drinks at the bar on the hotel property the night before with no issue with my ID. I would advise management to think about how they treat their guests instead of trying to make them feel like they're doing something wrong. Also when we checked out, we were told by the front desk that the parking gate would open without the ticket and when we went to leave, we had to pay another $24 just to get out. I feel that the staff isn't trained enough and do not care about the guests. Otherwise, everything else was good.
