I made reservations during an extremely busy New Year's Eve dinner in the Members area at Coya, and our experience was truly fantastic. The Peruvian-inspired culinary journey was exceptional, and we savoured the diverse offerings on the menu, especially the delightful variety of ceviches, sea bass, wagyu steaks, duck and for dessert, tres leches came in number one whilst the churros came in a close second. My party relished trying almost all items on the menu. Special kudos to the staff for their excellent service, with Arlo taking particularly good care of us. I highly recommend Coya and their team. The live music and entertainment further elevated the overall greatness of the evening.

We've been there with a party of 9. Nice place, next to Green Park but I wouldn't recommend it. The whole experience was terrible. We felt rushed throughout the service, like they were trying to get us out of there as quick as possible. The waiter took the order, we ordered starters and mains, but the food came they had no idea who order what and it was coming as it was ready. During our meal, waiters where consistently clearing dishes from our table even if we didn't finished eating, they were trying to take even our drinks even if we had few sips left. I would never recommend such a place, when your paying 20 pounds for a cocktail and at least 15-20 pounds for a starter and mains start from 30-40 pounds you would expect a proper service. Also we order some margarita 🍹 and the waiter came with a glass that had salt just on half of the rim, when pointed out he was trying to argue with us, explaining that they probably didn't put enough lemon so that's why the salt didn't stick on the glass...ohh wow great service... eventually he did agree to bring a new glass. So if you want to spend a lot of money and receive a poor service than I totally recommend this place if not for sure you can find better. Also the music was so loud that you couldn't hear each other across table...

Although the atmosphere was nice and the food was delicious, our first impressions were crushed when we arrived to the restaurant! Although that we booked in advance we’ve been kept waiting for our table for a while! Which I could understand when the restaurant is busy, but surprisingly people who’ve came after us are offered a table right away without waiting!! And we check with the receptionist she said someone will come to escort us to our table soon. Now is the biggest disappointment, when we offered the table it was right next to the open kitchen and not only that it was right next to the barbecue station where the charcoals are burning up, and honestly we were melting down before we were seated!! I told the hostess this next acceptable unless you are want us to be punished and suffer!! She said this the only table available otherwise we can seat you in the private club which was basically a separate room away from the main restaurant!! Told her that we booked in advance way back to ensure great experience and good table but with this behavior and treatment already get disappointed. I told her we can wait longer for a table to be available? She said it is up to you! And you could wait for a long time and I said to her fine with us. Surprisingly in less than five minutes a table becomes available not only one table many becomes available! This was leading me and my friends to be frustrated. But in the other hand the place was energized and the food was top notch and the waiter was friendly and provides a good recommendations that not disappoint. Wish that I took a photo of that table though to warn anyone who goes there to avoid it.

Delicious food. We went for the tasting menu and apart from the tuna - which just wasn’t the freshest - it was all great. The ceviche was mouthwatering. Service left a lot to be desired (rushed through the menu; bill slammed on the table 15 min prior to the end of our ‘slot’, which we were reminded about as soon as we sat down). Come here for the food (+ you get complimentary champagne if booking through Amex) and remember that you’re free to ask for the 15% service charge to be removed

The overall experience left a lot to be desired, particularly in terms of food quality, service standards, and the establishment's atmosphere. It's not a place I would recommend. 😐 Unexpectedly, we were ushered out before we had even finished our food and beverages. As we prepared to leave, a staff member inquired about our experience with the food. We honestly conveyed our dissatisfaction, to which she responded quite harshly, stating that we should have expressed our opinion before. Such a response is not in keeping with the level of customer service one expects from a fine dining establishment, especially one located in the heart of the city. This is even more true given that we had spent over 500 GBP. This kind of treatment towards patrons is not acceptable.

Great ambience. Wonderful food. A nice blend of Peruvian with Indian & Chinese Heritage. Had the dessert wine to go with my well done Steak, LOVED IT!. Staff was amazing. Pricy but worth it However, the cancellation fee is wild. Fix it please, it’s a buzz kill.

My friend and I started our night with a bottle of wine that never arrived. After 4 dishes were already on our table we asked where our wine was which was probably forgotten as the somelie came to confirm the bottle of wine we asked. When we ordered a dessert we also asked for a drink which never arrived. Finally. we asked for the bill which never came. I had to ask the manager to get the bill, which arrived 2 minutes later but was for another table. Luckily we got the right bill a minute later. The service charge in my opinion was not worth it and when you constantly have to ask twice for what you asked it ruins the experience. The vibe and the food were exceptional and I really think it’s a pity that it’s ruined by poor service (at least in our case).

I must say that Coya is the best restaurant in London. You must try the lamb chops… insanely delicious. The food in general is absolutely marvellous. Very friendly staff and the environment is beautiful. I can’t wait to come back. Thank you very much, Coya!!!

Good place for a meal out with family. The food was good. The service was excellent. There was a DJ to create some atmosphere in the bar. Would have given 5 stars but had to remind them of missing ordered dishes.

The ambiente is really good, the shared dishes were amazing but the main and dessert I expected more given the starters but I would go again I went again and tried new main dishes and they were amazing! Super recommend. It’s my new favourite restaurant in London

Visited Coya Restaurant for lunch; the staff was exceptionally welcoming and offered great dish recommendations. Opted for à la carte, but they also feature a tempting fixed lunch menu at a good value. Highly recommend this restaurant, despite its somewhat steep prices. The rib-eye was a standout favorite.

Went here for my mums birthday and had a fantastic time! The drinks, food and service were all brilliant. The vibe and decor really add the the experience and I remember really loving the scent they used in the lobby. Would highly recommend and personally would love to go back!

We got the set menu, you get a lot of food so good value for money. The fish based dishes and ceviche were absolutely delicious, definitely the star of the show. For me the meats fell short, they lacked flavour and weren’t as good as the fish. Drinks and dessert were okay. Service was amazing, all the staff members were so helpful and knowledgeable. Nice chill ambience and vibes. Probably wouldn’t come again but definitely worth a try.

Our expectations were high for this place but unfortunately the reality was far much lower. The atmosphere when you arrive is really good, they bring you downstairs to wait and have a nice cocktail. We have been waiting 25min after booking time. Service was correct, any problem at all but you can feel they are exhausted. Then they brought us upstairs and they assigned for us a low table, more for coffee/tea time to have dinner. If you are > 1.80cm your legs will struggle to fit, mines at some point fell asleep. Back to the food, they don’t have any replacement on the degustation menu for pescetarian or vegetarian therefore we ordered a la carte 5 starters and 2 mains, we did not order wine, all starters were good and tasty, tataki or tostadas atun will recommend. Then for the mains the waitress recommended us the “best” ones but although were the most expensive Lomo de Res was far away of 44£ worthy. Arroz Nikkei is a different plate, good to try for two people as it will fill you up and size is fine. We paid and unfair price of 258£ for two people, of course by default they charge you charities and 15% service charge. As summary, for a cocktails night its a good place with good vibes but for eating value vs price is not worthy!

Lovely setting, tasty food and excellent service from Sandro who took care to note our food allergens and discussed suitable alternatives with the chef (we are vegan). We went for our 20th wedding anniversary and received complimentary champagne and a sorbet. Would highly recommend and would gladly return. A couple more vegan options would draw us back sooner.

Decent food but expensive for what it is. Between us all we ordered a good number of options from the menu, most of which were enjoyable. The average price was £125+ per person and the food couldn't justify the value. The service was great and atmosphere were nice.

You will struggle to find tastier food in Mayfair. Visited Coya earlier this summer and everything we ordered was enjoyable, from the guacamole (which is prepared in front of you in a marble pestle and mortar), to the heritage foods, to the mouth-watering desserts. Great service to match! While expensive, the quality of the experience is worth it for special occasions.

Amazing service, ambience was a bit dark but i personally liked. Was sitting next to a couple who complain to much of the food they didn’t even touch. My waitress was very good with her timing & made sure all our food and drinks was serviced at a convenient time. I also ordered the £110 wagyu steak but seemed pretty small for the price. Overall a must place to go.

We went here for Lunch on a Saturday. The ambience is quite nice but restaurant is underground so no views or anything like that. We tried all their cocktails and the best was the oro daiquiri! For food we had a variety of things including the sea bass ceviche, mushroom ceviche, shiitake tacos, baos con wagyu, octopus, the kale salad and for mains the cornbread chicken, the sea bream in the banana leaf, the Sea bass, the langostino and patatas bravas. Generally we found the food at a high standard however we felt the portions quite small especially the baos and tacos which were literally miniatures like half a bite each. The absolute highlight was the Seabass with rice and the Sea bream. For desserts we had churros, pina colada, and signature chocolate cake which were also good. The prices are quite high and the reason we give it a four is just the portion sizes as mentioned above for the tacos and baos we were really underwhelmed. We would visit again but we would get the dishes mentioned above from mains which we thought were worth it.

Relatively decent restaurant with good food. The steak in particular was fantastic! My only criticism would be the ambience as it’s too dimly lit and the tables stacked too closely to each other for comfort. Also had to wait a while before being seated.

Good and vibey restaurant but ultimately didn’t quite manage to meet our high expectations. I have to deduct one star for overall value. Most dishes were very good but didn’t consistently provide the wow factor you’d expect for that price point — the main dishes were superb (we had the rib eye steak, lamb chops) but some of the sides and starters fell a little short (chicken skewers, roasted potatoes, wagyu brisket). Another star I have to deduct for the service. While the staff were very polite and friendly, we felt pressured into certain menu items — we were quite keen on the tasting menu but were advised it would be far too much and that we should rather take individual dishes. Ended up paying more than the tasting menus and left feeling still a little hungry after having spent £250.

A gem in Mayfair. The restaurant is walking distance from Green Park and easy to find. The food is absolutely DELICIOUS, especially the fish. The starters look small but are enough to prepare your stomach for the main. I will say the food is a mix of Peruvian /Mexican food, but in a fancy way. It's a bit pricy but worth it for the service, food, and atmosphere you are getting. During lunchtime, expect more business lunch meetings to see around.

Food and service were great, we were there for lunch. We had a selection of dishes from the starter and two main dishes which were amazing. Dessert were to die for! Yummy all round.

The best dinner of our week in London! We had the fix price menu to get a taste of everything and we were not disappointed. Service was attentive and accommodating. We will be back!

Guaranteed a good time at Coya every time I’ve been. Immaculate service and delicious food. Wonderful cocktails esp their pisco sours are so easy to drink. Sea bass with arroz was so amazing that we added on another portion! Overall a place filled with great lively vibes for a group night out

Excellent food, one of the best restaurants in London. Atmosphere was great with music, with a really good service. Our expectations were high and the reality was even better. This restaurant never disappoints. It’s on the pricey side, but the quality of the dishes justifies every penny. I highly recommend the tasting menu ! Also thanks to the staff for making my brother’s birthday celebration so special.

So good! My friend booked the private room for her birthday so we had the £110 tasting menu. The room itself is beautiful and feels very intimate with beautiful decor. We had two servers for the night I believe the main one was named Andrea if I remember correctly (curlyish brown hair), she was amazing, very friendly and super helpful and we really felt looked after by her. The food itself was really good, some of the best ceviche I've had and you certainly leave with a full belly! I've been meaning to book the Coya brunch for some time now and I for sure will now because I can't wait to go back. We may have overstayed our welcome a little (sorry!) as when we were leaving the lights had come on in the main part of the restaurant but even then the staff were still polite and were patient while we took a few pictures. Thank-you and see you again soon! x

We went there for a birthday dinner and the overall experience was just incredible! From the beginning how welcoming at the door staff was until getting our table. Our sommelier and all servers were just perfect. Attention to detail was met at all times. Music was on point and we just enjoyed ourselves very much. Thank you Coya team for the great service! We will definitely come back.

Amazing night, celebrating our anniversary. Food was really good and staff were friendly and professional. I have a GF allergy and the chef made sure everything was GF. I highly recommend the beef tataki and octopus. Looking forward to our next visit.

Beautiful restaurant with excellent service. Waitresses were very welcoming this has been also shared with the Manager presence that he took a minute to present himself. The atmosphere at Coya Mayfair is very suggestive and professional. The food was very tasty and well-presented.

Amazing food - a refreshing mix as it incorporates fresh ceviches and all the way to cooked meat/seafood! Would highly recommend it as a place for an occasion/celebration, or if you just feel like splashing out. The service was impeccable, really great attention by the staff. The setting is beautiful - definitely one for the gram. If I had to pick my favourite dish, it would be the Arroz Nikkei (Chilean sea bass in iron pot)

Absolutely loved this place! The decor, the vibe, the drinks and the food were phenomenal! We tried the tacos and sushi starters (pictured below) and for mains we had the fillet of beef with lamb chops which were both cooked to perfection! The dessert was also amazing, the cheesecake was light with a buttery crust and the coconut ice cream was nice and refreshing. The espresso martini is a must have too - definitely one of the best ive tried! All in all, can definitely say we'll be back soon!
