(Translated by Google) Beautiful views of the immensity of this dream landscape. It is well worth doing. We went in a gol trend, common and wild car, the road is good, at normal speeds, no more than 60 in the best parts, although it must be recognized that in parts we could not exceed 20 km due to the saws on the road. To arm yourself with patience to do it by car, but it is worth doing it even once in a lifetime.

(Translated by Google) An unmissable place. It can be done without a guide (I do not recommend it since you would lose the cultural, flora, and super interesting history explanation). We did it with a guide, I recommend Carolina (the only female guide). A passionate in the story, cordial and with a lot of cultural knowledge. It takes (with a guide) about three hours (to go to the caves of the young ladies and the part of the canyon). I recommend doing it early because of the sun. Always wear a hat, water and protector. The road is without difficulty. The photos are amazing.. (Original) Un lugar imperdible. Llevar siempre gorro, agua y protector. El camino es sin dificultad. Las fotos son increíbles..

(Translated by Google) Beautiful landscapes with rock formations in the form of pointed plates that look like arrowheads. One more corner of the wonderful Route 40. It is asphalt from Cafayate to San Carlos, the rest is all gravel to Cachi, it has saws but it is passable by normal car or motorcycle (Original) Hermosos paisajes con formaciones rocosas en formas de placas puntiagudas lo que hace parecer puntas de flechas.

(Translated by Google) Beautiful, a spectacle of nature. From Cafayate there are 23 km of asphalt and then the gravel begins, which is without wells but with some cerrucho. We drive to Angastaco. We pass through small towns with adobe houses, churches and cemeteries. It takes us almost 4 hours round trip by van. Worth!

(Translated by Google) Very beautiful!!!! Stone road with gravel, I recommend going with a higher car. No gas stations or structure on most of the stretch. But for those who prepare there are no problems (Original) Muito lindo!!!!

Although quite nice on its own, after visiting the awesome quebrada de las Conchas, the quebrada de Calchaqui pales in comparison. Except for this area: las Flechas. Named so for the rock formation resembles arrows speering out of the ground, this area has breathtaking beauty. It is not a large area, but you will want to spend some time here if traveling on ruta 40 north of Cafayate. So plan for it.

Loved jumping out of the car to take some pictures of this epic landscape. Road was taken well enough care of that the drive wasn't bad in our rental car at all.

This place doesn't even seem like it could be possible with the rock jutting out from every side of the road. We loved this landscape on our drive because it was quite different from most things we had seen! We even got out to snap some photos at the lookout point!
