Definitely worth a visit. The Statue is definitely a thing to see but the views are excellent. The best part is that this place is considered more as a tourist spot devoid of any spiritual importance. The locals do visit it for pleasure.

This place is so beautiful, Cristo de la Concordia, probably the latest Crist statue in the world and the municipality simply doesn't seem to understand the value of this. It is one of the most important icons in Bolivia. Nevertheless, the surroundings are pitiful, smells, no restrooms, no cafeteria, no restaurant, very dirty. VERY SAD!

Obviously the main tourist attraction in Cochabamba. The stairs are super hard but worth it if you’re feeling up to it. If not, I believe the gondola is 6.50bs per person? Beautiful statue and beautiful view of the city. Also have some sellers up there selling little snacks and crafts (jewelry, purses, keychains etc)

For being a monument of this size and fame it is extremely inexpensive to visit and even climb inside of. The view is fantastic as can be imagined. Be aware that the first set of steps inside of the statue is quite narrow, and you're only holding on to a piece of rebar as you go up it. The trick is to place your right foot on the mini-square-step and the left foot on the larger ones (on your way down that particular set, try going sideways or even backwards) . The rest of the stories are typical steel circular steps with handrails and feel much safer. There is zero artificial lighting in there, but the light from the peep holes ia juuust enough to see. The peepholes are not large enough to take wide angle shots out of unless you stick your hand out through the holes. Sounds scary, but all you need to do is bring a small camera or just a phone but absolutely have a lanyard on your device that is firmly tied to your wrist. There, problem solved. Oh, one other thing, some floors smell of urine. But in the end, it was a unique experience that you can't really find fault with, and will be forever glad you went through.

Visiting Cristo de la Concordia was a great experience. High above the mountain watching over the whole of Cochabamba with the grace of Lord Jezus! The atmosphere above there was very nice. Everyone was enjoying the view and relaxing. I really loved it and stayed quite a while. We went up with the cable 'wagons'. It was just great!

If you can take the cable car up, I highly recommend it. The hike up is what I did as the cable car line was very long and was not worth the wait. Walking up the hill took about 30 minutes. There are a few little drink stands along the way up the mountain so if you do need a glass of water or Gatorade, you can find it. When you get up to the top, it is a wonderful view.

Wonderful all-round view of the city and the surrounding towns. There are three ways to get up here: 1) walk up the stairs 2) by car (parking spaces available) 3) by cable car (one ride costs 6.5 Bs).

Today (November 12th, 2023) we drove up with the motos around 9 a.m. approx. 4 km only cobblestones or laid field stones - it's better to take a taxi 🚕😎 An ideal tourist viewpoint at approx. 2870 meters according to the altimeter app to see over the city of Cochabamba with an embrace of Christ of Concordia - this is currently the 3rd highest in the world - Nice :-) In this sense

A lovely reasonably easy grind up stairs to see one of the biggest Christ statues in the world! A stunning view over Cochabamba too. We walked up midweek from the city and felt very safe, lots of security around and other people making the trek. It took us around 20 minutes to walk up.

Nice views of the city and impressive to see. We went on a Monday and the cable car was closed. We took a taxi for about 20-30bs one way and same for the way back (plenty of taxis waiting).

Went there during holiday season, wasn’t able to take the cable car but went up walking. Arrived there for the sunset, excellent view of the city. I felt safe but everyone advised me to not go down the stairs after 6 pm.

We visited the place on the day celebrating the fiesta for Dia de Cochabamba which coincides with the feast of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross of Jesus. We challenged ourselves to walk up to the top and fully immerse in the experience. Visitors can decide how to reach the place. By walking, by car, or by cable car. Reminders for those deciding to walk up: - the best time to walk up is around 5:30am to 8am (beyond these times, it could be very hot and glaring) - bring water (or you may buy from those selling along the way and literally along the stairs - protect yourselves from the heat of the sun (with caps, sunglasses, sunblocks, long sleves, etc) - be mindful of your heart and medical conditions (Bolivia is situated in a high altitude from sea level so foreigners must be very careful) - some say it can be scaled within half an hour but our group has to stop many times along the way (also me being careful and trying not to overestimate my capacity that i have fully adapted to the altitude norms) There are small stalls at the top where you can buy water, refreshments, snacks and trinkets as souvenirs. There is also a restaurant (which we didn't try to find out how it was or what was in there😅).

It's pretty. Christ looks a bit like Bob Marley. What if we put a guitar behind his back?

Amazing breathtaking view of almost all the city. We took the cableway to the top, it was very clean, affordable and a much safer option than taking the stairs (which is not recommended). Once up there you can buy beverages and ice cream in little stores located on the sides.

Very nice view although you can't go up inside

Pretty huge statue of the Christ... i think after the christ in poland second biggest. Yes view is not the same like in Rio but it's till nice and teleferico is pretty cheap... like everything in bolivia 😉

It was an amazing experience with the lights it was so real like Cristo was moving his face. I was very impressed. I loved!!!

It's a good place to visit and have a great view of Cochabamba. It's advised not to use the stairway to go up or down as delinquents are known to harass visitors on those.

Beautiful views, it’s an iconic hotspot of the city, you can get there by car, or climbing the stairs, also riding the cable car, great experience

If you in Cochabamba I recommend to visit the Cristo de la Concordia, you can walk up there or you take the gondola. It's not expensive by the way. It is the biggest Cristo Statue in south America, even bigger than the one in Rio de Janeiro. Very nice view all over Cochabamba. Anyway it's a nice thing to do here... highly recommend.

Amazing thing to see up close. You can walk up to it or get a ride from a cable car. You can see the surrounding cities from very far away, beautiful view. I was told that on Sundays you can go inside the statue to go to the top for a small fee.

Beautiful view, not too crowded. Take the teleferico is very cheap and comfortable.. Stay away from climbing the stairs(safety precautions).

Very beautiful statue. Make sure you climb to the top while visiting for great pictures of the city! Take the cable car for another beautiful, quick trip!

Nice spot with an awesome view over Cochabamba. Also the restaurant is quite well equipped and offers hot meals. The cable car is a bit old fashioned and the cars don't travel continuously, so the wait can be long due to having Limited nhr of people Transported to each direction at a time

I like it a lot even though I couldn't climb up to the shoulders. It is possible to get inside the statue and climb it up to get an incredible view of the city but there are no lights inside the Christ so usually it closes pretty early. It is possible to reach the Christ statue by stairs but I would suggest to go up through teleférico and down by walking.

Take the teleferico and enjoy the statue amd the views from the top. Well presented, clean area and not overcrowded. Also don't forget to get a picture from the photographer. Everything is cheap here.

Great Instagram place. The statue of Jesus is bigger than the one in Rio de Janeiro and is the second largest in the world. Definitely worth checking out for yourself if your in Bolivia.
