For only 50bs, you can watch WWE certified cholitas fight💀 Ticket also comes with a small soda and popcorn so that was a plus. I enjoyed watching this (although it was a bit too long😅)

when we went - May 22 - half of the audience was not Bolivian, half of it was. Actually all our Bolivian friends (20-30es) told us they went to see it as kids. If you go directly you’ll pay 50pp, and if through an agent with transportation and all, it will be 90. Overall it was less touristy than expected, and the show is really that, a show, with good spirit and fun and liveliness. The women wrestlers are amazing, they are the real thing, true athletes - and I guess they also must face quite a few prejudices in their own society. As far as we could tell, they honor their own culture and their gender - both mental and physical. We really enjoyed it.

Was an hr on the bus from Selena then 45 min before anything happened then it was a bunch of guys that started wrestling. Finally the cholitas came out and they were entertaining but spent too much time trying to engage the crowd against the opponent. The ref started fighting and at one point was strangling the woman with a belt. Ref isnt supposed to be involved or fake strangle a woman. Then 3 women were in the ring together, who agains who? Then the finally was 8 wrestlers men and women total chaos and stupid, they started using chairs out of the ring and hitting opponents over the head with plywood. Men were fighting women, not cool felt very abusive. Turns out I can’t enjoy men fake hurting women. The woman in the red dress had some awesome acrobatics, but over all was a waste of a night.

Incredible, absolutely go. But go by yourself, no tour needed - easily accessed on teleferico

It was a fun evening watching this show. Just the two kids taking photos or videos were blocking the show all night was annoying. They were apparently kids of the presenter or owner of the show. Do they do this every night or was that just that night I don’t know but they were always around and blocking the view in all the photos I took.

Way too long and organized for the tourists. This is a loudly show. The real essence of it is not there.

Definitely a tourist trap. In the beginning its fun but it takes way too long and its obviously invented to entertain tourists. I thought it was a must in la paz, but i wont recommend it..

Excelente organization for the event. The place was almost empty and lots of tourists were there. I excepted a more local-oriented show. Great value for the ticket. Also, didn’t appreciate that locals were sat in the stairs and not the same as tourists. The women put on an excellent show!

Had the best night ever here! So weird to watch, but laughed a lot! They really know how to amuse a crowd!

Super campy, but it’s somewhat fun once you get into it. The quality of acting is not high, but stunts are still impressive. Almost all tourists.

Great entertainment but the beer was warm and seats uncomfortable.

Great show for max one hour. Unfortunately, the show in total is 2,5h so if you're not a fan of wrestling you simply will quickly get enough of the fake punches. However, the organisation is pretty good and you don't have to necessary book it as a tour from the agency. Just show up at the place. But please bear in mind that the place is in El Alto which is considered not too safe for tourists (better to move around there in a bigger group).

You have to take it for what it is...a tourist attraction. We booked our tour through our hotel, at 90 BOB per person, it was definitely a tourist price. But if you accept it for what it is and give into the cheesy nature of it all, it can be a fun evening. We went, cheered, and jeered with the rest of the people and had a great time. But if you think that it's authentic, think again.

I've been to Lucho Libre in Mexico City and was expecting more of the same on a lower budget. While it was definitely a lower budget production, it was a lot of fun. The acting was worse but they had some funny storylines and got the crowd into it which i loved. Definitely silly and a touristy thing but would still recommend it.

It IS in this location! There is another (competing?) one at the Ceja Multifunctional but this one exists and looks more fun

is bizarre but at the same time really entertaining. I dont like fake wrestling at all but this one is a must go. the cholitas and fighters interact with the public, you will definitely laugh and enjoy watching this.

10/10 worth going, so much fun. Bought tour ticket through hostel but apparently it’s possible to go on your own too

Absolutely a fantastic show! When you watching the show you are also supporting the community! Be careful that when you tell taxi driver Cholitas, they might bring you to the old place la ceja del Alto which is not actual place anymore, please tell driver exactly on the google map place. Or you have to walk 12 mins like us. The show starts around 5:15 and have amazing women wrestling shows! The entire show will end around 7pm.

Loved it ! Booked the tour with Andean Secrets; transport, snack and a souvenir, had so much fun, 100% must see and do while you’re in la Paz.

Pretty entertaining. The men's fights are pointless. Also every fight tells the same story...

  • 1/5 Kale W. 1 year ago on Google
The show is completely staged, it feels rather fake tbh, I would not recommend it

It's very interesting to see the show. Don't miss it. Don't go with kids though.

😐 Add an elevator for the elderly and disabled. Because there are so many beautiful things and works of art at the top. If the authorities had some intelligence they would make another museum in the north lake and center of the city of El Alto
