In this palace you can see royal toilet and the prison along with reliefs of some of the prisoners. The 3D model can be seen over at the museum.

Palenque is an incredible Mayan Ruin. The size, number of structures and condition of the site should make it much more well know and visited. The Palace is a nice, cool quiet spot for a quick rest and time of contemplation.

It is well preserved and explained. The palace is divided into different buildings with different purposes. The center court is well preserved, with sculpting on the pillars and roof. It is amazing to picture the life back then.

For me these are the best ruins in Mexico, as the jungle gives it a nice atmosphere!

We went out of our way to see this area and it truly is worth it to come and spend the day here.
