Great getaway. our rooms were much larger than anticipated. everything was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. lots of activities at the resort, you don't really need to leave. I highly recommend this resort. I will mention, it is a bit out of the way but, that's what makes it so pleasant.

I will definitely come back. The resort is clean and very quiet. Far enough from the city but close enough to drive to Sea World and other attraction. The pool & Gym is great, we used it everyday. Customer Service is outstanding. Always there when you need something. James was awesome helping us out getting the BBQ Grill going as it was not working properly, and Leanne kept us up to date on the Resort Activities. Thank you all for your help and Hospitality. Our Family enjoyed our stay.

If we would have stayed a whole week or done any of the activities then we would probably give it a five star rating. We only stayed for a couple of days and didn't get to spend much time at the resort. As for the room / condo/unit it was large spacious and very well accommodated but not the cleanest. There was dust under the bed and in some other areas which accounts for the docked star. But I have recommended to friends and family that this is a great place to stay and very kid friendly as there is lots of activities on their list. Honestly I can't wait to stay here again due to his secluded location from the city and reminds me of home up north.

There are a lot of amenities for family's and especially kids. The rooms are nice size. Bed could be more comfortable. Lots of extra pillows and blankets. Full kitchen and living rooms. Nice patio. Pool is heated with hot tub. The washroom is free, free movies to watch. Fore log each night you ask for fireplace. Dinning space is good size. Area seems quite which is nice not too far away from things to buy. Casino only 15 minites away. Good customer service very helpful.

This place is perfect for my wife and me. Our favorite spot and we have stayed at 60 fours star hotels over the last year. Super clean, fully stocked full kitchen, it really is a big one bedroom apartment. Nice and quiet location. My wife likes to sit in the decent patio furniture and watch the wildlife. Goto the town of Julian and get some apple pie only 10 miles away. We actually extended our stay this time by one night.

We found our home away from home when visiting my family. We love that we can visit my home town but have a place to ourselves. The price isn't bad either. You get a whole apartment! The service has always been great. The rooms are a little outdated, but they said they are remodeling the rooms in 2024! The front lobby area just finished remodeling, and it's beautiful! 😍 we've stayed twice now (both 1 bedrooms) and have been super happy both times. This time, we got to use the fireplace. The 1st log each night was free, which was super nice. The. Views from both rooms were great. Very quiet day and night. Occasional kids playing or riding bikes that get loud but nothing too crazy. Made it feel more homey to me. Plus, they have a very cute resident cat that greets you at the front 😊 All and all a super great family or couple place to stay at. Short term or long term!

I recently stayed at Riviera Oaks Resort and had an absolutely delightful experience. The newly remodeled rooms were not only modern and comfortable but also added a touch of luxury to our stay. The staff were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make us feel welcome. What impressed me most was the array of pleasant activities for kids. It kept them engaged and happy throughout our stay, allowing my family and me to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings. Riviera Oaks Resort truly exceeded our expectations, making it a memorable and joyful getaway.

I can’t give enough accolades to the staff at Riviera Oaks. Pennie, Leanne, and Miguel manned the front desk and text messages. They all were incredibly quick with responding to all messaging. Our 2 bedroom unit was spacious and fully equipped. If we needed anything, a text was sent and voila, someone was delivering whatever it was that we needed. Thanks to a fully equipped kitchen, we actually cooked. We totally made use of the pickleball courts (beautiful!) and the golf course. We didn’t swim this time, but our days were lovely and we could have done that too. Thanks to good weather, we were able to enjoy our balcony.

This is a nice place to relax and we are looking forward to coming back when we have more time to enjoy the many amenities. Our first room was smoky, we appreciated efforts to get us into a cleaner smelling one. Would much rather come here than an Air BNB

From check in with Leanne and all the wonderful information she gave us I could tell it was a well run Diamond location. We were provided hiking locations, wineries, restaurants and even town directions as well as resort amenities and activities. The room we reserved was spacious and well appointed and you can clearly see pride in maintenance and managing of this wonderful gem nestled in the hills of Ramona. The surroundings are gorgeous and the peaceful slice of heaven quite attractive for those looking for a quality location that has nice rooms, a gym, activities, pool, racquet and pickle ball courts, video check out and so much more. Thanks to the staff at this location for providing a quality experience and also sharing the information and amenities that made a bid difference. Also a note that Francisco and the maintenance/cleaning crew are amazing and wonderful people. Highly recommended.

If you are looking for a home away from home, this is the real deal! And SUPER affordable! The suite is much bigger than a 1 bedroom apartment! It's clean, very spacious, and there's a fireplace!! (You are provided with a log per night). They have all the essential items in the kitchen to cook a nice meal (you have to bring your food). The bed is SO COMFORTABLE that we slept like babies AND the place is so quiet, it truly felt like we were on a retreat away from the noisy metro we live in. We loved how warm the pool and spa was, especially in the cold winter days! It's not far from downtown Ramona and a nice drive to Julian. So many things to do nearby, you won't get bored. Definitely recommend!!

Hot tub is a bonus. Clean and spacious rooms and service desk is a wealth of information from wineries to their own pool room.

Staff is really nice. Place is big and roomy but outdated. (If that bothers you) Nice location beautiful views and lots to do. Just be sure to wear socks/shoes/ slippers anything inside because your feet will turn black

We have stayed here three times now. It's a nice place. Close to Ramona, which is a really cute nice town! 9/10. Kinda far from San Diego for multiple trips there but I do like Ramona! Clean rooms, nice beds, FLUFFY, FLUFFY pillows. Pool, hot tub, bbq area, with other amenities like a spa and tennis courts!

We were looking to stay someplace closer to Julian other than staying in San Diego. We found this place and weren't sure but I am glad we took the chance. The resort is in a great location and provides everything that you would need for a stay. Although dated, our room was quite spacious and very clean. The one thing that we really enjoyed was the big patio that we had which was great to sit out and enjoy the pleasant mornings and the cool and relaxing nights. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to do whatever they needed to make sure your stay was pleasant. Overall we enjoyed our time here and wouldn't hesitate to book another reservation at this resort.

The facilities here are great and the staff are top notch. They took great care of us on our visit. The only downside is the location. It would be fine if you were a big tennis player or just wanted to stay at the resort. My family and I wanted to see the ocean and explore San Diego. The resort is 15 miles up in the hills and to get anywhere outside the resort was a lot of driving. Obviously not the Resort's or staff's issue, but that is how we felt.

My favorite staycation place to go. Great atmosphere great service. Also free laundry full kitchen and always clean in rooms and around property. Great amenities and alot to do for adults and some minor things to do for and with children. Not to far outta the way. If you know your way around San Diego you'll know it's not far to get to the beach or anywhere in town from east county all the way south or north. Prime location. Me and my partner go here at least once a month. Just to get away and relax for the weekend. With many hikes to do for all outdoor adventures.

A very nice resort. Wonderful amenities, well maintained, updated. Large patios and big bedrooms, only downside is very small bathrooms and no vents in them. Otherwise fantastic rooms. Definitely worth the visit and a return visit. I didn't interact with the employees, so I didn't rate that section.

This place is awesome for families!! We have 5 children and it is rare to find a room that fits us all. My oldest is 11 and so we don't like to have to book two separate rooms. The suite we were able to get here was really an apartment size with two bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen, dining table, a king size couch bed, and two large balconies! It was also very affordable! Especially compared to other hotels suites. Everything here is clean and well kept. Free laundry facilities with soap! Free burn log for the fireplace which we used each day, and games and movies to borrow! Two pools and two hot tubs! We never visited the tennis courts and other sports courts, but they had a line up of family friendly activities scheduled. The scenery and rural Ramona countryside was absolutely beautiful and the beach was only 1 hr away. There are several great hikes right around the resort also. This is our new favorite vacation stay when we come to SouCal!! The only downside is that restaurants and groceries are a bit of a drive into town. Only about 10 minutes but it feels like a drag to run into town when you're on vacation.

We stayed for two nights. Its about 30 minutes from the Safari park, through pretty winding roads. The rooms have decently comfortable beds (2) and a pull out sofa. Minimal cooking utensils, plates, stuff. I suggest getting some paper plates and stuff, otherwise, you'll have to do the dishes constantly. The rooms were clean but needs a major update. The property was recently purchased by Hilton, so I think they may get an update. It's my guess. The rec center was very nice with tennis courts, ping pong table, pool table, and a gym. You can check out bicycles for free from the front desk, where you check in. People were super nice and accommodating. Only thing that is difficult is that it's about 10 miles removed from the town, so getting food and grocery was challenging.

My husband and I have stayed a few times when we want to get away, but stay close to home. The hotel is very clean, very quiet and in a great location. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are quite big. It's pretty much a 1 bedroom apartment. We like everything about this place. The reason I didn't give it 4 stars and not 5 is because check out time is at 10am and I feel like that's a little too early compared to most places. I'm not sure if they offer late checkout because I didn't see that information when we booked, they didn't mention it when we checked in and I didn't ask either.

Wonderful resort, great location, very good customer service. Lovely pools. My only complaint would be that the furniture is outdated and very worn out and carpets need to be replaced. The size of the rooms magnificent and everything that you need is there. Cannot ask for anything better. The resort makes you feel like you're at home comfortable and content.

Resort is a little tired. Pool is nice, particularly in the 100Β° + temps. A/C worked great. Full kitchen, some cracks in the tile floors. Full patio with table and chairs. 6.1 miles from nearest grocery store (Albertsons and Aldi's). Many good hiking trails all around. Horseback riding too. Access to a decent gym, bigger pool, tennis courts and game room across the street.

This place is so nice! You can sit on the porch and watch all the wildlife that strolls by. They have a pool you can swin in. :) It was wonderful. My child really had alot of fun. The beds were comfy. They had a laundry mat right next door. I would highly recommend.:)
