I came to this park with the intent of stealing a dog. Before you get all judgmental, I come from an area where dog-stealing is perfectly suitable behavior(Ocean Beach). So please check your facts before you try to clap 👏🏿 at me. Anyway, this park doesn't allow dogs. But guess what? These old people don't give a single you know what where you know it about why you know it. They let their little purebred dog children run leash-free, and guess who got a new friend to take home? 🐾 💋

This park is an amazing place to play around and/or chill with family and friends. There is a bathroom to use in the "Green Park" the smaller area right next to the giant field. That has basketball, handball, tetherball, and more courts, as well as two playgrounds and a big field. The only thing to note for this area is that the big area is part of an elementary school (Carmel Del Mar), so you can't go there during school hours. The Green Park is always open.

Great park next to elementary school and Boys & Girls Club. Couple of playgrounds and a baseball diamond. One of the only parks in the area with restrooms.

A small park right next to Carmel Del Mar Elementary. There is a publuc bathroom, a small play structure (no swings), a grassy area (large enough to have a big bounce house and a generator) and several picnic tables and BBQ grills. It's tucked in behind the school parking lot, which makes it a safe place to let little kids play there.

It’s a nice park but I rate it two stars because of irresponsible dog owners. It is NOT a dog park and dog SHOULD be on-leash. But no, owners let their dog run like crazy and they poop everywhere in the field while owners are busy chatting with their peers or on their phones. Dog poops can be found everywhere in the park. Disgusting! Park services should ban dogs into the park!

It's a nice little park/playground. Very safe, quiet and beautiful but very small. Little kids would be happy for a long time but older ones (7 and older maybe) got bored pretty quickly.

Great park for lacrosse tournaments. Plenty of things to do for siblings who aren’t playing.

This is a superior park that is basically 4 parks in one. There are 4 playground areas in the immediate area. They have two huge fields & a baseball diamond. The park equipment is tip top. They also have basketball hoops. There is a bathroom at the park along with water fountains. There is a lot of space to walk dogs & there are plenty of picnic tables. Parking is also abundant and easy to access.

Small community park near the elementary school. It's at the bottom of the Del Mar trails community. There is a trail all the way up the green belt; it takes about 5 minutes down and 10 minutes up via walking. The park has a play structure, sand, grass field, picnic benches, and restrooms. Not the best playground around but suites its purpose for my toddler.
