One of the best, if not the best, skateparks in the area.

Super busy skate park - large street section. Come early to avoid the scooter and skateboard kids. If you rollerskate the full pipe run is a must! So fun.

Great neighborhood park with all sorts of features. The skatepark is pretty awesome, there is a huge amount of grassy area, picnic tables and a playground, tennis courts and a basketball gymnasium.

The skatepark is truly a work of art! I'm sure there were some playgrounds and other stuff around the skatepark but all I could see was the wide variety of banks, transitions, pools, ledges and rails that seemed to flow from the enormous full pipe that crowns the place.

It may look daunting at 1st but this park has so many good skaterz to learn from. It was built by the Skatepark Project formally known as the Tony Hawk Foundation. Deff in my top 5 San Diego Skateparks.

Very well set up large park. The Skatepark Project did a great job. Great for learning how to carve and multiple heights to learn how to drop into bowls.

I'm middle aged and skated everyday growing up. At the time there weren't skate parks. Visiting this skate park blew my mind! It is absolutely awesome!

Amazing skatepark! Some real thought was put into how people will skate it. It flows so nicely and has literally everything you could want to shred.

This skatepark is one my favorites and best in San Diego in my opinion. Plenty of bowls, rails and ledges for all experience levels.

This is the busiest Park I've ever been to. But it's cool b/c you can walk the dog around it & still watch your kids at the skatepark (w/out looking like your watching your kids at the skate park.)

Voted today and it was very organized although the lady showing me how to use the new computerized system almost accidentally put a different voters card number in but this is a really nice park for families tennis players and pets! 😁

Not a bad park, just on the small side. If you are walking to the park from the surrounding area the sidewalk situation is a little weird and the road is busy. Plenty of palm trees, sunshine, and grass. If you go at the right time of day you can see mainly men doing manly workouts by themselves in the shade if that's your thing.

This park has been renovated, snd a fine skate park built here. Would love a new rec center here, and that may happen. Cross fingers. Still, center offers array of programs, primarily for kids.

Good park with great transitions but there is always so many little kids in the middle of the skatepark but of you go early or late it is better

One of the best parks I've been to in a long time. This is one of the places where it feels like home, so long as you don't act up. This park serves as a hub for the locals that live by as well as a homing beacon for the ones who moved away. The Linda Vista Annual Family Reunion is held here to celebrate ALL the people of Linda Vista, past, present and future.

This park offers wide open fields, baseball fields, basketball courts, a small playground and a LARGE OPEN and amazing skatepark. With so many options in the skatepark, this place is great for skateboards, scooters, and bikes. Even if it's your first time on a board, this place is a great place to get used to textures, hills, and bumps. I brought my 3 year old, 5 year old, and 8 year old here and all three had fun and learned new things, really a great park.... Limited parking though, so keep an eye out for street parking if you need it.

Love that this rec center is close to all the housing areas with a skate park and a field with lights. Gives the kids somewhere to go and do something productive.

For it being my first time there. It was very nice, wide open space for everyone but there was alot of trash on the ground, other then that that about it.

The bathroom has no soap and half of the doors don't work. Homeless people make camp in there at night time, making it awkward and stressful to use the facilities. There are sometimes men in the women's restroom, which makes the situation worse. I think it's heinous to lock kids in the skate park when it is time instead of giving them a second to grab their things and go.

Great public skate park with edgy risk takers. It's a city park so there is plenty of smoking drinking broken glass and some less than desirable activities. However it's a huge park and the skate park is pretty good so is the indoor basketball gym.
