Most amazing donut spot ever!! Order the creamy bun!! A warmed donut served as an ice cream sandwich! Staff is always nice and prices are incomparable!

My 88 year old Mom who lives @ Fredericka was craving donuts. So I went to Yelp and was presented with various donut shops with varying reviews. Landed on Plaza and am definitely a fan. Sweet older couple behind the counter, LOTS of fresh donuts at 9AM and 11 bucks for a bakers dozen. The donuts were super fresh and really delicious. The cake donuts were even airy and not too dense.

I've been coming here for over 10 years. Not often because it's a rare treat to get a doughnut or ice cream but often enough. The kindest staff in this family owned and operated shop. They have Thrifty ice cream by the scoop! The make a ridiculously good pastry cream filled doughnut that is a must try if your lucky enough to find it, It's not too sweet and very light. My boyfriend always gets the croissant breakfast sandwich and he's pretty pleased with it. I want to try the pistachio cream shake next time.

Plaza D... WHY DO U STILL HAVE sign that says open taped to the front of store? We both know that stopped being an awesome 24hour shop right after covid. Are you trying to taunt me? I miss going in at 4 am for just made still warm rings of sin. I won't ever forgive you but I will keep buying chocolate and cinnamon doughnut holes. So keep making them. And stop making wait at the counter while you do small things that don't really matter at that moment.

Was visiting from out of town and stopped here on the way back home. These donuts were so good and I thought the prices were even better. My friends and I were very satisfied with the whole experience. I will definitely be back when I'm in the area again and recommend this place to others.

Excellent donuts! Super clean and tidy place with a huge selection and friendly staff. A dozen =14 here! If you’re looking for the best donuts in the San Diego area, this is the place. Easy access with nice parking area in the back.

Expensive as h***!!! $19 for 12 donuts and then if you get another donut that is not on there doesn't dozen donut list they charge you extra money and don't tell u. Plus they say you get 2 donuts free but its not free its actually more. I asked for the maple donut with bacon they didnt tell me and went ahead and an extra dollar. Their donuts aren't that good? You can get a dozen donuts the sames taste at Sunny donuts down the street for $14 & better service. They don't charge you extra for any other donut!!

The chocolate glazed old fashioned donut is tender, moist, and delicious with just the right amount of crunch. The service was fast but friendly. You get a dozen plus two free donuts. I paid $18.50 cash. I think there is a charge to use credit. Left a tip in the jar for good service once she taped up the box. Got home and saw that she added three glazed donut holes.

Great place, super friendly and the most delicious donuts. The breakfast sandwiches are also a slam dunk!

While in the area, I ventured to see if they sell Chocolate Bavarian donuts. And of course they did! Yummy. Even though it isn't my favorite recipe here, the donut size was good, the taste was scrumptious 😋. Yep. It was gone in a flash. It cost $1.50 for a little heaven. Totally worth it!

Wow! Quite possibly the BEST sugar donut I have had in my life. Only wanted to have a half and ended up eating all of it. The glaze was very good too. They were very fresh. I plan on returning hoping the are just as fresh because they were really good! Worth the visit!

Bought a box of donuts and a small cappuccino, then we bought 4 more donuts and a large cappuccino after eating a few of their donuts! Super delicious and soft!! I highly recommend this place!

Plaza Donuts is a solid mainstay in the South Bay. The donuts are always fresh and it's always nice to have an option to have a breakfast sandwich as well! The people that work here are always friendly and courteous! Overall great donuts. Eat up!!
