The true definition of a quality shop is what they do when things go wrong. When you run a shop, things happen out of your control quite often, and when I say they went wrong with my transmission I very much mean it. I was out of town when an installed part failed. 1,200 miles away in Texas... out of town. The story is long so I'll skip the details. The owners answered on a Sunday... While on vacation... dropped everything, and did not stop until we found resolutions. They were all over handling everything that was going on and I could not be more impressed with their professionalism in the face of adversity. Myself and the owners handled everything from A-Z with professionalism, kindness, understanding, and genuine empathy. So few shops operate with this high level of integrity. You're done shopping. Cheaper isn't worth it. You can trust them and that's priceless.

Honest, helpful and reliable. Shop owner is on call 24/7 which is great peace of mind no matter where you go. This type of work on your car isn't cheap but needless to say that good work isn't cheap and quality is worth it.

Honest Honest Honest I called the other to have my mom's 2015 Nissan Pathfinder inspected. I spoke with the representative and expressed my concerns. After listening to me he stated there was no need to bring the vehicle in unless it was disabled. Instead of telling me to bring the vehicle in and charging me an inspection fee he told me to wait. Most mechanics shops would have had me bring the vehicle in and charged me an inspection fee like they did in Fontana. Thank you for taking your time and listening to my concerns. Most of all thank you for being honest!!!!

Sal is the best (defined as honest, competent and fair) transmission guy I know. I went there fearing the worst, but he quickly put my fears to rest and told me the problem was not in my transmission, but instead was my motor mounts (the car was making a horrible grinding noise upon heavy acceleration when it shifted gears). He could have easily sold me a transmission rebuild, but instead had the integrity to be honest, even though it cost him a sale. This is why I highly recommend Rancho Transmission to everyone I know that needs transmission work! I can say this with confidence since he also worked on my Navigator where once again i was afraid that i needed a rebuild, but Sal diagnosed it as a broken valve spring. A shift kit and a normal fluid service was all I needed, saving me $2k! If you are having transmission issues, go see Sal!!

Sal was so great. I went in with something that I thought was a transmission issue according to a previous mechanic i went to. I called him on a Saturday and he was able to see me that following Monday. He drove my car around and was able to tell that it was not a transmission issue. He could have easily charged me for just checking it out or even charged me for unnecessary work, I wouldn’t know any better, but he didn’t. I will be going to him for my transmission oil soon, I will recommend him to all my friends and family and have even gave out his business number on the neighborhood app for my neighbors.
