Very weird and strange modern art. Unless you’re in to weird breathing dolls with their organs ripped out and feet sticking out of walls I would not recommend. No photographs were allowed in the exhibits either so you don’t even know what you’re getting in to until you’re there. Also, there were so many stairs and it was hot as blazes outside so that wasn’t fun. Either way I feel like you shouldn’t have to climb to Mt. Everest and back just to see some art. There are much better things to do with your money and time than go here, however I would recommend the connected Bar Luche.

Loved it! Great mix of contemporary art in a large, stunning architectural space. The onsite bar/cafe is fun and Ristorante Torre looks amazing although I didn’t have time to visit. Ticket included access to their observatory at the Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II to add to your Milan experience

There are 5 locations to be visited for 12€, but only the main building with 9 floors îs interesant. The others are non-sense You enter an empty space and think what i gave the money for. În the Main building we went to the 9 floor by lift, where are the most interesting rooms (the dark room, the mushroom room and the filming room) and then go down and visit all the floors except 6 and 7 that are restaurants. I recommemd just for one time to be visited. Not go back there again.

The buildings are architecturally speaking marvelous but the art exhibitions just don't seem to be enough. The architecture is phenomenal. It is a really impressive site to wander around. Surely the permanent exhibition in the tower is the best one, but it somehow felt confused. Nevertheless I enjoyed thr evening!!

So, so, so disappointed. The star given goes for the temporary Wes Anderson expo, but the rest truly and utterly lacks cohesion. The buildings are beautiful but soulless and it’s not intuitive to get around at all. The staff does not help you with that and look like they hate their job. Also, they follow you around as if you’re going to steal something and even interpose with you and the pieces exhibited… For 15€ I expected much more than whatever it is that they’re presenting you. I’m an art lover and this place did not feel like it shared my passion, quite the contrary, which is truly a shame if you consider the spaces they have at their disposition! To top it off, they say the entrance is free for people with disabilities but there are stairs literally everywhere… To sum it up, I’d say they use the Prada name to lure you in… If you hope to find anything related to that brand, do not go there.

A beautiful art gallery with are for every taste. The elevator in the big building is awesome. Every floor in the big building is worth it to visit and the skyline view that can be seen in the top floors is awesome. Do not leave Fondazione Prada with out having coffee and panino at the coffee shop.

Very progressive and lovely space to see art. Go to the top of the tall building to see beautiful views of Milan and make sure you stop by the café, which serves perfect cappuccinos and espresso.

Amazing museum. Architecture is great. Permanent collection is really nice. Exhibitions sometimes sad, but it’s always a pleasure to come. Only one problem. Always guardians are forbidding to do something. Here is closed, here u can’t go, please don’t touch, please don’t do. I personally think that museum must be more open. I’m not speaking about touching exposing things, this is clear. But museum must be interactive, and when it’s not - I feel myself in the cage.

To be honest, I expected to see the brand itself, to touch its history and origins. But instead I saw installations not connected with Prada Brand anyhow. There were no information about any of the works. One thing that is definitely worth seeing is the view on the sunset and on Milan in general. A pretty strange experience, but some exhibitions were nicer than others

For me, it's considered out of nowhere, but worth a visit. Check out the calendar first so you know what exhibition you will enjoy at Fondazione Prada. Also don't forget to visit Bar Luce next to it - a 50's themed bar designed by Wes Anderson 😊

To escape the madness of Milan inner city it is well worth walking out here. The Luce Cafe and Torre restaurant invite for some relaxing time with a great view from Torre. The ‘Who the Baer’ temporary exhibition was excellent and the permanent collection well worth it, although the number of artworks displayed is rather limited, these are interesting and mainly large scale works.

An absolute must see when in Milan if you're a lover of contemporary art. Both the building and the exhibitions totally worth it. You can easily spend half a day here and take cool pictures.

Beautifully designed set of buildings - a masterpiece in terms of architecture, but who ever thought of putting just one elevator in the tower, should be given a free day in the building and must be required to enjoy the slow ride on every floor. I waited for about 15minutes for the elevator to go up and down and then another 15 minutes so that I can go up. Not a very smart choice, right? I ended up spending more time on that elevator (with the waiting time) than the most of the exhibitions. With only two-three installations, Fondazione Prada has been a disappointment. You see, Pirelli Hangar Bicoca offer a lot less but more striking installations and it is free. Don’t waste your time.

Wow! This place is piece of art. The whole building is worth visiting. And the exhibitions are also amazing. It is a little bit far from the center of Milan, but there’s many ways of arriving there. A must-seen in Milan.

Great architecture. The exhibitions were thoughtfuly curated to convey Easy to consume feel-good art. All together a fun day at the museum. Beautiful café designed by Wes Anderson and a nice restaurant with a terrace and a nice view (though too expensive for very small portions)

The Fondazione Prada is a contemporary art foundation located in Milan, Italy. It was founded in 1993 by the fashion house Prada and is housed in a complex of buildings designed by the architect Rem Koolhaas. The foundation hosts a variety of exhibitions, events, and educational programs, and is dedicated to promoting contemporary art and culture. The Fondazione Prada is a must-visit for anyone interested in contemporary art. The architecture of the buildings is as impressive as the art on display, and the exhibitions are always thought-provoking and engaging. The foundation also has a great restaurant and a bookstore, making it a great place to spend an afternoon or evening. The architecture: The buildings are designed by Rem Koolhaas, one of the most famous architects in the world. The complex is a mix of old and new, industrial and contemporary, and it is truly a sight to behold. The art: The foundation hosts a variety of exhibitions, from established artists to emerging talent. The exhibitions are always well-curated and thought-provoking. The events: The foundation hosts a variety of events, from film screenings to concerts to lectures. There is always something going on, so you are sure to find something that interests you. The restaurant: The restaurant, La Scala, is one of the best in Milan, but a bit pricey🤑. The food is delicious and the views are amazing. The bookstore: The bookstore has a great selection of books on art, architecture, and design. It is a great place to find a unique souvenir of your visit. If you are planning a trip to Milan, be sure to add the Fondazione Prada to your itinerary. It is a truly unique and unforgettable experience. Here are some tips for visiting the Fondazione Prada: Buy your tickets in advance, especially if you are visiting during peak season. We visited in August when Milan was completely empty 🏜️ so we bought the tickets on the spot. Allow enough time to explore the complex. There is a lot to see and do, so you don't want to feel rushed. Wear comfortable shoes. You will be doing a lot of walking and climbing stairs (there is an elevator 🛗 in one of the buildings for disabled, elderly or pregnant visitors only. The main building has an elevator for everyone). Bring a camera. You will want to capture all the amazing things you see. Some expositions you are not allowed to take photos of 📸, but in the other buildings there will be plenty for you to capture. Be prepared to be inspired. The Fondazione Prada is a truly special place.

Hands down the best toilets in the game, multiple amazing toilets. Make sure to check all of them out. The art is pretty great to a little bit of conceptual stuff for everybody.

Awesome architectural building. The details make the difference. The permanent exhibition is a must as well as the current exhibition. The time I visited the exhibition "recycling is beauty" was taking place. The place is a must see when in Milan. Book your tickets in advance.

I could also give 5 *. But more than 70% of the exhibition space was closed. But the entrance fee of 15 € was not reduced! This is called a thief. On the other hand, the area is beautiful.

The location right next to the railroad makes it not the best nor the prettiest but it’s definitely worth to go there. When I was there not all of the buildings were available. The exhibition in the “tower” was definitely the best. Exhibitions in other buildings were not only much less interesting but also had unnecessary queues and time schedules.

Keeps lovers of contemporary art and architecture entertained for 2+ hours Stunning architecture, even the elevator and cloak room. Stunning views from the 8th floor, good variation and display of works Staff are friendly and knowledgeable (most staff are artists, art historians) The design bar looks cool, but off course overpriced Oh and: drinks dispenser on -1 floor, next to cloak room

I loved this art center! The place itself has an amazing design, and the exhibitions were great. You get to walk around multiple buildings, visit the tower, all the time exposed to modern art. A must!

One of the coolest design museum I’ve been so far! Really cool terrain with a lot of cool buildings. Expositions we’re also super cool everything in there one way. We went on a day when it was raining all day in Milan and it was perfect to visit! Definitely recommend this!

Pretty cool from an architectural perspective. Floor 9th is fun, with an upside down installation of mushrooms.

The staff is kind of rude for starters. The tickets were 12 for students and as much as I understand that the museum covers a large area I don’t think it contained enough for 12€ spent. So the money isn’t really worth it. There are some pieces that are really good the mushrooms the camera room, the room with the bugs, and a few more. But expect for these pieces it was kind of just soulless, there’s amazing places for pictures for Instagram but artistically it leaves so much to be desired. Overall it looked kind of dystopian when we were there. On the bright side though there is a part dedicated to Wes Andersons movie asteroid city witch was nice and also a nostalgic vintage cafe designed by Wes Anderson I liked their food and the cafe just looks gorgeous in my opinion. Overall I don’t think I’d come again, the place just feels empty. Some parts are overfilled and some of the others are just not worth walking the stairs.

Fondazione Prada is a great place to check out if you're interested in art, design, and culture. The buildings are all really interesting and the exhibitions are well-curated. I especially enjoyed the exhibition at the Torre building, which was really thought-provoking. I also really liked the Bar Luce, where I had a delicious espresso before heading back to central Milan. The overall vibe at Fondazione Prada is very relaxed and inspiring. I highly recommend visiting if you're looking for a fun and unique day out. Be sure to check out the Torre building! The exhibition there is definitely worth a visit, but also de Wes Anderson exhibition about Asteroid City.

Worth a visit for the architecture, not so much for the exhibitions. You’re not allowed to take photos in some of the exhibitions and the staff can be a bit intense. Also a lot of queuing for the “haunted house” that has highly conceptual, bordering on meaningless art.

Great architechtural project by Rem Koolhas, specially taking intl consideration history of the building (formerly a jail). Building decoration and details are fascinating and very carefully designed. Don’t miss the bar-cafe, it’s usually very full but the sandwiches are great for a good price. The main exhibition is very interesting. Mostly pop artists.

Gorgeous location. Excellent curation and collection of works. Naturally, covid has taken a toll on the logistics of the experience but the staff are friendly and knowledgeable and excellent and it's 💯 worth the visit (as well s to Bar Luce next door).

  • 5/5 Jeff S. 2 years ago on Google
Fondanizione Prada has a great collection of rotating installation art presented in a setting that is as delightful as the art itself. The architecture and interior design alone is with a visit. Even the elevator is an experience. The art is an eclectic collection of mostly large scale installations from artists around the world. Highly recommend a visit if you are near by. Be sure to start at the building near the entrance gate. Naturally we went to the tall tower first but the exhibits begin at the out buildings.

The museum is rather far away from central Milan. This museum does NOT exhibit anything to do with the fashion brand Prada! I enjoyed the museum, it’s a very large space, and the staff was helpful. There is a cafe area and a gift shop.

Such a beautiful place to visit in Milan if you’re into fashion or architecture. The art is really interesting and thought provoking and I loved even just wandering around outside around the beautiful buildings.

The museum is situated at an industrial area. It is designed like a prison, the stuff is dressed in grey clothes and the entrance is made of steel . Later on you see the exebitions which are very nice designed. The bar has a beautiful view of the city.

  • 2/5 Manasjyoti B. 1 year ago on Google
Not much to see for a ticket of €16. A very few contents are displayed. In building 11, you can find some paintings, and some inverted mushrooms designs. 4th floor has 3 old cars. Architectures are good and also some of the stuff were really friendly. Recommend to visit some other places if interested in seeing some fashion museums.

  • 3/5 Ana S. 1 year ago on Google
It is a good space but the reality is that it doesn't have many exibitions. The exhibitions also lack some explanation. Overall it was a good time spent but for the price of the ticket I was expecting much more.

  • 5/5 Oana J. 1 year ago on Google
Modern and huge artistic space, with several different art exhibitions. You can find also a restaurant and a bar inside the complex. It is an interesting project and the pieces displayed there are modern and contemporary. It’s worth visiting it.

  • 5/5 Ana G. A. 1 year ago on Google
It is a museum of contemporary art. Personally, I don't like contemporary art and it's hard for me, but I think it's an essential museum to visit. The architecture and design of the building is worth it. I was completely captivated by the architecture, and the design of the bathrooms, the elevator, stairs, and the facades, I think they achieve the experience they wanted to convey to the visitors very well. It seems that you are in a prison or modern concentration camp. That's why it's worth it and if you like art in general, much better.
