The hostel is a bit far from Milan Central Station, however it is near the subway. Easy to find and you will be welcomed by the polite receptionists. Rooms are tidy and clean. More important is everywhere is air-conditioned, so at this time of hot season, it is a must. Two big supermarkets are within 5 minutes walk. For hostel live in Milan, I recommend you here.

Really close to the public transportation, especially Milano Lambrate FS. It's ok to spend maximum one night. The room are small, spartan but clean. The best thing is the bed is comfortable. I booked a Bed in 4-bed Female Dormitory Room. I been lucky to have respectful girls to share the room with, and of course I had the same foresight. There's an internal garden which is really nice. The common area is very big, but can't tell the same about cleanness, it wasn't heated at all and it was very cold, not really made me want to spend any spare time there not even eat someting, just the time to get a snack from the vending machines and leave. There are a lot of genitors cleaning but the place doesn't really look as tidy and cleaned. The building it's big, but price doesn't match the facility, really decadent, and not maintened. The elevator is really messy, mirror scratched and written all over. Receptionist are very gentle and accomodating, I had a late check in, after 11pm. I had a discount through booking, I paid a lot less than usual price, still can't really say it's fair. Just if you have to.

The staff was friendly, the location is just awesome because it's not inside Milano but very close to it, with a pizzeria 1 meter on its right. It's transport-friendly, and the room was made when we asked for it, and clean. Big +: the price in comparison with all the other bookings at that time Don't expect a 5 stars when you go to a hostel, obvious 😉

The rooms themselves were fine - lockers, plug, lamp, but that's it. Staff were super unreceptive, sometimes rude. No kitchen or cooking area, and absolutely no atmosphere throughout the hostel. Toilets/showers didn't seem to be cleaned anywhere near enough either.

The quality of the rooms is unacceptable. The shower head was broken, water was leaking beneath the shower glass and worst of all, we found BED BUGS. Oh, and you have to pay for the towels. We were lucky enough to spot them quickly and leave the hotel. The staff were also very kind and helpful, but the owners need to seriously improve the facilities. Yes the rooms are cheap, but even for their price, what we got cannot be justified. I would not recommend Mio Hostel at all.

The one star is one star too many. The only good thing about this hostel was the politeness of the guy who worked at the front desk. The hotel is run down and is in an industrial creepy area. It had 0 hygiene standards. It was the absolute worst and disgusting stay, I have ever had at a Hostel. The room reminded me of a jail cell. It had an sos bell by the door. The windows were high up and weren’t really made to open. Outside is very loud. It was extremely warm in the room. I came when everyone was sleeping due to some problems i was having with transit. I actually wanted to take a shower after the long day i had but, after looking at the shower i didn’t. It was highly disgusting and as was the toilet. I had a top bunk and the first thing i had noticed was the weird sweet smell that was coming from the bed. The more I looked, I also noticed the stained blanket. One look further and I found bed bugs. I immediately left the room and told the guy at the front. He then gave me another room. I had no choice but to stay because it was late at night and i just didn’t the money to get another hotel. I only needed the hostel for the night anyway. The room I was given was cleaner but, I still had this untrustworthy feeling. It looked the same and the light beside the bed and electrical outlet didn’t work. I don’t recommend this place, whoever owns it really doesn’t care. Just give out some extra money and go somewhere else!!!!!

Unfortunatly I made a mistake and booked one night at Mio. I called the hostel to cancel my booking after 5 minutes, we spoke and they tell me that the refund would be possible and I have to send them a message via booking. I did it, I sent so many messages via booking asking for a redound for this purchase I made by mistake. Of course no one responded me and they keep ignoring me. It’s easy money for them because of the cancelation fee, but come on, I called you immediately and you told me that it was ok to get my refund. I wasn’t expecting that the hostel was so incoherent. They prefer 30 € for my cancelled booking than a happy customer who will be back in another occasion…

THE MANAGER PHYSICALLY ATTACKED ME AND CALLED THE POLICE!! Background: If I could give 0 stars, I would! They most disgusting bed filled with bed bugs! When we complained we were moved to another room. Then they asked us to go back to our room without any guarantee that the bed bugs are gone and refused to give us a deposit. Then they called the police on us! When we started to record their incredibly rude behavior, the manager (this awful Filipino lady in the picture) physically attacked me and pushed me! I showed the video to the police who convinced them to give me my refund. Never book here! They are the worst of the worst humans, truly scum of the earth. They are liars, harassers and cheats!

The receptionist was so kind.If u looking for price/performance it will be a good choice.There is one problem for hostel it is location.So far away to Central and metro stations work until just 00.00.It's a big problem for Milano.

If I could give 0 I would, normally not one to complain but we arrived at 1am thinking we had a reservation as we received the confirmation, to our surprise we were told we didn’t have one and there were no rooms left until the staff found a 6-bed dorm which then told us she had to wait for a confirmation from her boss in which she only messaged and didn’t call at around 1AM Bad service overall.

There is no place for cooking, and the funny thing there is only one fridge for the all hostel guests. If you luckily succeed to put something inside the fridge, you will never see it again in half an hour. There is a camera looking to the direction of the fridge and I asked for the receptionist to take action about it since it was happening to me every day but he didn’t do anything. Everything in the showers is broken and not clean. On the other side, beds were comfortable that made the hostel to deserve 2 stars.

It does the job, but don't expect a nice new hostel. The rooms were small, don't expect it to be comfortable to linger there. There is no luggage locker in reception. If you arrive early, you just have to leave your bags in the lobby. This is a humble hostel where then lockers in the rooms are clearly homemade. It is close to the tram, the M2 metro is about 8 minutes away walling. The people were very nice in reception though.

Only 1 socket in whole room. Absolutely, ridiculous for this day and age. Imagine trying to charge 2 peoples' phones and laptop too. Why would you even have a double room with 1 wall socket??? 😐 The room was also 1 with accessible toilets without all the accessibility tools - the WC was way higher than the average but with step/stool to get on. People struggled to sit on the loo.

Do not go there, at best a 1 star hotel and early in the morning they put a big machine om that made insanely high noise and made our room smell like diesel. They offered us a shared bathroom room for 1 hour until checkout as compensation💀💀 0/10

The location is good, near the metro. The bad thing is that they sell a room that includes breakfast and it is not true. no microwave. there is no kitchen. There is no hot water. the table area is not clean. There are only two vending machines, one for coffee and the other for snacks

The rooms where dirty and had a strange aesthetic of using chipboard to decorate everything, that's all well and good but it had no protective coating so watch for splinters. Also the use of keys for the rooms is out dated. The location of the hostel is far out of the city however had a main metro link and train station nearby. (Use the train station for free with interail). Big food shops near by.

Please think twice before you choose this hostel! After four days, I came back home with over forty bites from bedbugs!!!!The previous comments, made me convinced that I got them in your hostel.In the bathrooms there is a general mess and dirt and after coming to room in night I was so honored to find another insects chilling on my bed :) I don't understand on what basis you connect people in rooms..I am a very young woman and I was assigned to a room with over 60-year-old man.Guess how I could feel about it...very uncomfortable and unsafe!It is unacceptable that you are not thinking about such obvious things..You better pay slightly more instead of choosing accommodation in this hostel!

I've given this hostel three chances, and while the prices are reasonable, I'm consistently disappointed by the lack of basic amenities. The absence of essential kitchen equipment such as a microwave is frustrating, and to add insult to injury, the coffee machine only accepts coins. It's baffling and inconvenient, to say the least."

I was in this hostel from November 10th until December 20th and I regret spending money in there almost 1000 euros in there for 40 days. Any Person can go in there unfortunately from drug addict to mental unstable people anyways. Reception not good at all, especially those Philippinas , there's a small balcony outside the reception in the garden, everyone used to smoke in there all of the sudden one day they out a a sign saying "No smoking" outside in open area, I was smoking outside and one of them receptionist girl, came and said do you see the sign, I said no it wasn't here before so I agreed not to continue smoking in Balcony so I went down in the garden and smoked, 15 minutes later her and the other guests were smoking freely in the same spot where she told me it's not allowed, that is stupid she doesn't deserve the job she has. Amateur reception. She should get fired.

Never been in a place that horrible. I was not expecting a hotel service from an hostel but this seemed to be an immigration centre like Lampedusa. Dirty, noisy and overpriced for what they offer. I have understood why there are not photos about the rooms. Avoid it!!

Clean rooms, clean toilets on the floors. Elevators. Vending machine. Excellent reception service, 24 hours. Near the station Milano Lambrate. Very quiet during the night. Big common areas and strong wifi to work remotely, if you are a digital nomad. Recommended for the price. One of the cheapest in Milan and overall good quality.

If you can afford to stay somewhere else do it, both mine and my girlfriends bunks had bed bugs. We heard of someone else in another room who had beg bugs crawling on him. There was only one friendly front desk worker, and he was on the night shift not sure his name. Or stay was split between 2 rooms, both of which had lockers where the locking mechanism didn’t work properly.

There were bed bugs in my bed. I had to cancel my reservation and I didn't even get a full refund. 3 days passed already and my body was still full of marks and itching because of the poor hygienic conditions of the place. It was a nightmare stay. Also, I can't tell that my glasses were stolen during my stay and the staff didn't help trough even if they had cameras.

Had a booking for 3 nights, saw bed bugs on the first morning and had bites the next day. We left before finishing our stay and luckily found another hostel. Not putting one star because we got our money back for the stay.

Bare bones hostel with the essentials (room and shower). Average cleaning. It can be noisy in the evenings due to slammed doors and guest conversations. Location is good, only 7 minutes walk to the Metro Station. Supermakets nearby. Delivery apps service the hostel.

This place is horrendous. One staff member was nice the rest were soo rude. The place is a dump. Creepy old men walking around and in a pretty sketchy vibe. Location is close to train stations.

From metro Luggage drop Extremely handy bar on the length of the bed to hang clothes, which works as curtain too. Little shelf next to the bed. Privacy vertical panel with external towel hanger. Fast wifi (fastweb 80 / 30) The 6 beds room has enough space. Dirty tables. Automatic vending machines not working The lounge is not too cozy BOTTOM LINE I would come back here only because of the price and the comfortable accessorized beds. It's a pity that they don't improve the lounge, it needs a restyling from a good designer.

Overall happy with their approach of service. Booked it using booking.com. Very easy to find as just beside a main road Staffs are realy co-operative and friendly. Room was neat and clean, big enough for 2 person. Hope they will increase the quality of the washroom. Apart from that everything is quite well.

even tho our reservation was confirmed by email, apparently there was a problem their system, resulting in us not being able to check in, sent away at 3:00 in the night and having to pay a room at another hotel for a way higher price. hostel mio refused to pay the price difference, neither did they offer us a taxi ride to the other accommodation. we were promised to receive a call the next day to talk about a solution, which never happened either. not a pleasant experience. we have stayed there a couple nights before and weren’t really impressed by their cleanliness either.

Very cheap, nice staff, but not that great of an atmosphere. Shared spaces could have been cleaner, but the beds were good!

Mio hostel is nearby center and thier prices are fair, they have small garden where you can have your drinks and coffees.

Nice location. Cleaning is done properly and daily in time. Staffs are polite and helpful. One chair was broken and they replaced it quickly. The staffs respond to every query politely. One request to the host is to change the blanket covers after every person checks out. I observed they are changing the sheets and pillow cover but not the blanket covers. This makes it unhygienic. I used my own blanket that I carried. Also the hostel has a smoking problem. They allow people to smoke in the common area. Otherwise everything else about the stay was superb. Would prefer a stay again if I visited Milan.

Its nice hostel (warm an clean). They closing common space and 11pm and they dont have backpacker Vibe but besides that its very good place to stay. :)

I was there for one night and DIDN'T have problems with bedbugs. Maybe I was lucky, idk. The hostel is located outside the city, but the metro station (M2) is only a 7min walk. You can also take the bus to the metro station. There is a Lidl and Carrefour near the hostel. All the rooms are different, mine (private room, 1st floor)didn't have a vault or a toilet. The shared bathrooms were right around the corner. Showers an toilets were clean, sometimes there weren't any paper towels. The room was located to the inner courtyard so it was very quiet the whole night. The staff was nice and easy but nothing special. So the hostel is totally okay for a night or two since it's one of the cheapest ones in Milan.

Hallo, Last night me and my friend slept in Mio Hostel in Milano, in the middle of the night we woke up both of us full of bed bugs bites, I'm allergic to it, The all bads were full of them, we didn't slept the all night, The guy in the reception put us in another room that also was full of bed bugs. We had the worse experience that can be from a night in a hostel.

The worst night I ever had in a hostel..! The place is full of bed bugs! I couldn't sleep the all night, thay couldn't give me solution, so I end up sleeping outside. And woke up with baits all over my body! Also my face! And also you cannot feel the air conditioner at all because it's too old.

We booked here last minute as there was an issue with the other hostel we booked. We were in a mixed 4-bed dorm. The room was pretty clean and not too cramped and it had a bathroom attached as well. Sleep quality wasn't great as it was quite loud from outside and it got cold with the AC on all night and only a sheet to cover you, but that could just be me. Every bed had a box to put your stuff in that could be locked and unlocked with the fob attached to the room key which was very handy. There was an outdoor space with tables and chairs so you could sit or eat. The staff were nice and friendly as well. The hostel also had Wifi which seemed very reliable for what we needed it for. The location was perfect; a Lidl round the corner, a few minutes walk to the metro station and then a couple of stops on the metro and you're at the central station.
