This is the case when you want to write a review. I spent about a week choosing a hotel in Milan and could not come to a clear decision. On the last day before departure, the choice fell on this hotel. The staff met us at 00:45, we had a late check-in. A big plus for the location, a couple of minutes walk from the main station. Our bus from Bergamo airport also arrived at the station. The city center is about 20 minutes walk. There is a metro stop next to the hotel; after a long walk, you can always take a ride and quickly return to your cozy room. I would like to note the cleanliness of the hotel. There was cleaning every day, a special thanks for that. Well, breakfasts, varied and perfectly selected products, delicious desserts. Bottom line. Thank you very much for 4 wonderful days spent at your hotel. Definitely recommend!

Walking distance to Milano Centrale. Clean hotel. My room was very comfortable and very clean. Bathroom spotless. No mold. Clean toilet, bidet, handles and shower. No buggers on the shower wall. Room attendant does a great job. Room mini bar had some goodies free of charge which was really nice. Front desk informative. Fast check in. I had to check out at 5am. It was a fast check out, FD attendant call my taxi ( taxi driver respectful. I felt safe) and even had a breakfast box to go for me. Super nice. Breakfast: A little bit of everything, organized and clean. Love that they had nutella! Bar area nice.Love the welcome prosecco. I am a solo traveler I felt safe. Water refill available 24 hrs @ 2nd floor. Overall I am satisfied with the hotel. Very clean hotel. Perfect hotel for couples or solo travelers. Many places to eat nearby. Pizzeria Napoli fast for a take away pizza. Fratelli Coppola good Pizza and delicious chocolate dessert. Peruvian restaurant The Big Bang Rest. Their Lomo saltado and causa tasty. My two favorites cuisines:Italian and Peruvian. The only issue I had was on Saturday night that I didn't sleep because some guys that were assisting at the night bar next door(not part of the hotel) were talking so loud outside , even screaming at some point.

Cozy 4 star hotel near Milan central station. Con: The room is clean but a little bit small. You can hear subway passing with vibrations. Pro: Minibar is free. The bar is nice, but the breakfast is just amazing, better than any buffet in Las Vegas. However, my favorite part is the staff here that always willing to help and provide the best service as of today. They are passionate about their work. I am grateful that I pick this hotel.

Nice hotel, very close to the station. Staff is young and friendly, speaks good English, is very accommodating and quick to fix issues (hairdryer was faulty). Room was clean and functional. Nice spa (free to use but you must book in advance). The restaurant was an excellent surprise: tasty cutlet, superb risotto (by far the best I had in town, and I tried a few...), great wine. Oh, and the breakfast is amazing: fresh juice (you make it yourself), all kinds of breads and cakes, ricotta, etc. I will come back!

My recent stay at this hotel in Milano, near the Central Station, was an experience beyond expectations. Travelling with my mother, we were greeted with exceptional hospitality that set the tone for an unforgettable visit. The hotel's proximity to the Central Station is incredibly convenient, making it a breeze to explore the city. Immaculate cleanliness and a welcoming ambience awaited us upon entering our room. The attention to detail in the room's design was evident, and the complimentary mini-bar was a delightful surprise, adding an extra touch of comfort to our stay. The Internet was great, as well. The breakfast offered a feast, featuring a diverse array of options. From delectable pastries to fresh fruits and a Nutella fountain. The restaurant and bar further elevated our stay, with complimentary Prosecco at the bar. The hotel boasts an impressive range of facilities, including a gym and a spa. What truly stood out was the provision of a shower for guests to use on the day of check-out, irrespective of when they returned to collect their luggage from the free and secure storage. This thoughtful touch added immense convenience to our travel plans. The staff at this establishment were the true gems of our experience. Warm, courteous, and ever-helpful, they went above and beyond to ensure our comfort. From the front desk to the restaurant and bar staff, their friendliness and professionalism left a lasting impression. Overall, our stay at this hotel in Milan was nothing short of spectacular. The combination of a central location, luxurious amenities, great breakfast, and outstanding service makes it the only choice for future visits.

This hotel enjoys a strategic location adjacent to the station, granting easy access to major transportation lines. The standard of the accommodation was commendable, with our room being spotlessly clean and stylishly modern. The staff were notably cordial, always willing to lend a hand. I had no specific complaints about my stay; indeed, I found the pricing to be fair for the quality provided. One standout feature was the extensive breakfast served on the top floor. It catered to all tastes, with a variety of savory and sweet options like scrambled eggs, cakes, and fruit salads. Overall, I was pleased with my experience at this hotel.

Milan was the last leg on our trip that took us from Naples to four other major cities before arriving in Milan right before midnight. The customer service was sadly lacking to put it lightly at this hotel. The front desk staff were condescending, dismissive and projected an aura of aloofness and arrogance. We ran into an issue with our reservation where we had booked a room for three but it was appearing as a party of two. Rather attempting to accommodate, their solution was to book an additional room. No compassion and no understanding whatsoever. Also, no manager or supervisor on duty, nor a willingness to contact management to find viable solutions. The fact that we were traveling with a minor, we had no choice but to book a room at a different hotel. Thanks Marriott for helping us out in a difficult situation. We ended up staying at AC Milan and the service couldn’t be more strikingly different. Bottom line, IQ Milan is a relatively small hotel with limited flexibility and lacking in customer service. Typically poor customer service is endemic of poor management, quality control systems, and no presence of customer service professional development for staff. Do yourself a favor and seek larger hotel chains such as Marriott or Hilton. Not worth sacrificing service for saving money. In our case, we ended up paying for two nights at this hotel since they were unwilling to waive the room cost plus the expense we incurred staying in AC Milan.

Great place! Rooms are modern, clean and comfortable. Security is top level, with multiple key card access points. Location was fantastic, right across from the Milano Centrale train station as well as the metro station to connect you to anywhere you want to go in the city. The staff was very helpful and spent time describing the best places to go in the city and how to get there. And the spa!! No extra charge to use the private spa, just reserve a 45 minute slot at the front desk and enjoy. Spa was extremely clean and honestly our favorite part of our short stay in Milan. I would absolutely stay here again if I ever find myself returning to Milan.

Loved my stay here!! The room was comfortable and clean, amazing amenities (fully stocked mini bar, lovely spa including a jacuzzi and a sauna, welcome drink - all included with my stay), exceptional staff who were so kind and helpful, and the location is 10/10. I’ll absolutely be coming back! Wished I had time to make it to the rooftop bar, it looks amazing.

The staff were incredibly welcoming and the rooms were clean and as advertised allowing for a wonderful stay. The air con was brilliant and a lovely area to cool off from the heat of Milan. An incredible location right next to the central station. The only issue I had was the TV was old and did not have smart cast/function to enjoy streaming TV.

We loved the iQ Hotel Milano! Great location, very clean room, great space in room, the bed was so comfortable and we slept so soundly. The customer service was impeccable!! We loved it there so much at the beginning of our vacation, we stayed there again at the end of our vacation before heading back to the US. I highly recommend the iQ Hotel Milano!

Truly amazing service! The staff helped me with everything I needed, and their attitude was very positive and welcoming. The rooms are very clean, and all the bathroom toiletries are provided. The location is great if you want it near the train station, the neighborhood seems fairly safe and to get to the center of the city, you only need 15 mins with the metro. Overall, great experience and I highly recommend this hotel!

I’m so glad we picked this hotel. It is perfectly located across the road from Milan Central station, close to buses for the airports, trams/ metro for the shops and tourist attractions. It was our first visit to Milan during the last week in March 2023 and it got off to a bumpy start with a delayed Ryanair flight which meant we reached the hotel in the early hours of the next morning, which I emailed ahead to inform the reception team. On arrival in the early hours, we were warmly welcomed and nothing was too much trouble for the hotel reception staff. They were all very helpful and kind throughout our stay. Special thanks to Chester, Veronica and Kim on reception. The hotel, including the rooms are very clean and the bed and pillows are comfortable. Our room was cleaned daily and we got complimentary bottle water everyday in the fridge. The fresh breakfast every morning in the top floor restaurant was very nice, bread, eggs, meat, fresh fruits, lots of cakes, cereals, teas and coffees. The beautiful space on the top floor also hosts a bar and restaurant in the evening. You get a complimentary free drink during your stay. Special thanks to Viviana and the main guy in the bar with the nice smile serving drinks and food (I forgot his name) who were very professional and nice people. We didn’t use the gym on the top floor but I had a peek inside and it looked very clean. We had to book an extra night due to Ryanair cancelling our return flight and the reception team were very helpful in this. All in all, I definitely recommend this hotel for your visit to Milan as it is very clean, comfortable with great staff and very convenient for all public transport needs.

I am surprised that nobody mentioned the subway noises in the reviews. If you live on the 1st floor, you can hear and feel it. The location is amazing just make sure you don't live in the room 103-106, big noise with subway and also the office /cleaning storage room across the hallway and it got noisy from subway and inside when the cleaners start to work in the early morning.not good if you want to sleep late. Later I request to move to a higher floor and it is way better . I would come back for the location if you need fast access to train station and subway, but make sure you request a quieter to.ahead of time, if you are a light sleeper.

Just a five minute walk from the main train station. Friendly staff and Housekeeper Tamara, was very friendly as well. The rooms were a bit outdated but ok for a traveler on a budget. If you don't like your room for some reason, don't be afraid to ask for another one. I did and was pleased getting a better room.

Location is close to Metro and train station, but far from shopping and Duomo if you like to walk. Staff was friendly and they offer complementary luggage storage. The content in the fridge was also complementary which was a very nice touch. The biggest appeal about this place for me was that they had a water machine for us to fill up on water - ICYMI, there is essentially no such thing as free water in Italy. Rooms were nice. Would recommend this place to friends and family.

Milan stole my heart, IQ hotel was the cherry on top for a vacation to cherish. Awesome experience staying 4 nights, surrounded by employees every single one of them making sure you’re welcome providing best service a tourist asks for. From receptionists up to rooftop 6th floor where you have the gym, the spa, the bar, the restaurant and the breakfast area, everything was excellent. I will attach some photo or video if possible. The room had all accommodations, comfy mattress and pillows, all toiletry amenities included, water kettle tea/coffee bags, snacks water bottles beverages and juice (free). The rich breakfast menu was fresh fruit, boiled egg, omelette ham cheese veggies yoghurt cereal, nuts, jam, fresh baked yummy apple/orange/chocolate/berry cakes, all kind of milk, coffee espresso cappuccino corner. This same floor has smoker’s corner sealed from non smoker’s where it’s roof is open to sky, make sure you bring your coat on winter time. You feel secured in this hotel as access to entrance is only with your room key. This hotel is just across the central train/metro station, few minutes to Duomo by the metro or 30min walk. Definitely recommend IQ HOTEL MILANO

Super nice hotel. From the location, the room, extremely polite and helpful staff, the facilities, excellent breakfast choice. Everything was absolutely amazing. Highly recommended. Definitely we’ll come back again. Thank you for making our stay in Milan joyful.

Way too pricey. The receptionist gave us a very disdainful look upon arrival and given our reaction of surprise at the price given what was indicated online. Even now, the price advertised seems really acceptable but when we arrived it really wasn't so good. Also, the windows in the room do not really open and the street is quite noisy and polluted. Only good thing was the shower that had a lot of pressure in the water.

Its been 3 years im coming to this hotel every november and the kindness of the staff is that good and friendly which it deserves 5star The staff are incredibly polite, friendly and supportive. Place is cozy, clean. Its near the rail station so frequently you will feel vibration and also at a low rate of train's noise. Price was fair

Comfortable & cozy place to stay at. It is easily approachable from central station & from nearby shopping places. Hotel itself is nicely decorated on modern design pattern. Reception staff was very helping & welcoming. Overall my stay was very joyfull and memorable and I would surely like to visit IQ Milano in future as well.

The hotel is located very near Milan Central train station - definitely a plus point as it is really accessible but this also means that quietness is compromised. Checked into the first floor of the hotel as rooms on other floors are already occupied. Had to put up with the constant noise caused by the trains and drainage/flushing sounds? Not so good for light sleepers. Apart from the noise, the hotel is not bad - convenient, value-for-money, clean and modern.

iQ Hotel Milano is one of the best hotels I have stayed in in a long time - really lovely staff, thoughtfully-designed rooms and a great location by Milano Centrale train station - there is plenty in the local vicinity but the hotel is also right next to the metro station (you can get to Duomo in about 10 minutes). Special shout-out to the housekeeping team who keep the hotel absolutely spotless and replenished our fridge with free still and sparkling water every day. The rooftop bar is a nice place to chill out and we were given free drinks vouchers which we thought was a lovely touch. You can also book private use of the jacuzzi and sauna for free - if you go around dusk you’ll be able to see the starling murmurations swooping over the train station from the jacuzzi which was quite an experience! Breakfast was a huge spread and also had gluten-free options. If I were to use one word to describe this hotel it would be “generous” - many others seem to be cutting down on costs and slimming down services but iQ Milano really made us feel like valued guests. 100% recommend and would return in a heartbeat!

All the night, we heard the train and could also feel its vibration. All the night people were coming back (till 2am), and when someone opened the door or took the elevator, you could hear that as it's happening in your room. The materials in the room were very cheap; we couldn't even close the shower doors. It for sure doesn't worse the price.

We stayed for one night and for a very reasonable price received a modern and well equipped room along with an amazing international breakfast and a free welcome drink. Excellent covid safety precautions and all staff were extremely friendly, shoutout to Giuseppe! Can highly recommend on every level :)

Great hotel! We booked last-minute and we received a warm welcome. We stayed in the twin room and it was really clean. Especially the rain shower was great and the temperature was very pleasant during the hot summer months. Moreover, we slept like a baby because the beds were comfortable and it was quiet on the top floor. We can highly recommend the hotel!

Very nice and helpful staff. Great location, very close to the main train station and metro station. You can easily get to any part of Milano. Clean and modern rooms and a lot of little things that make your stay nicer - free water bottles every day, vending machine with snacks, machine with ice cubes, even microwave and welcome voucher for free prosecco in the hotel bar ;-)

Great location, service was good... a bit pricey for what it is... a bit of renovation required Rooms feel very small, for what u pay Spa evening (1 hour) was the highlight of the stay ... had it all to ourselves.. as its only small... but was well worth it as its free (part of your stay) Drinks at the roof top... pricey... for what they are BREAKFAST not worth it... id recommend going outside

I cannot recommend iQ Hotel Milano enough! All the staff are so welcoming and friendly and provide you with amazing knowledge of the city and how to get around. The room was lovely and modern and the rooftop bar and spa were simply incredibly! Additionally the breakfast spread was delicious and varied, with lots of options for gluten free, dairy free or vegan. All in all, an amazing hotel with a fantastic location! We can’t wait to come back and visit soon.

This hotel is close to central station which makes it very easy to get around the city via train and subway. The hotel itself was very clean and modern, and had very comfortable rooms compared to others that I've stayed at in Italy. The front desk staff were helpful and very friendly when my husband and I arrived for our stay. Breakfast was amazing and one of the best that I've experienced in Italy, having several foods to choose from and also always being well stocked. Would not hesitate to stay here again if returning to Milan in the future!

  • 1/5 Christoph S. 1 year ago on Google
If you consider staying in this hotel, insist on getting a room on higher floors. The rooms are hardly soundproof. On the lower floors you will here the sound of subways and the building starts to shake. If your neighbours in other rooms aren’t extremely quiet, you‘ll here them too. The same goes for people in the hallway outside of your room.

  • 5/5 Steven H. 1 year ago on Google
One of the best hotels and staff experiences I've ever had. My wife and I checked in on Nov 2. Front desk staff was very friendly and accommodating. We had to leave early next morning to get to the airport and wouldn't make it to breakfast, so they generously put together a breakfast to-go bag, which was full of plenty of food and given to us upon check out. Very nice clean room and bathroom. Very comfortable bed. The bartenders for the guests reception on 6th floor were amazing and friendly. Had a couple of phenomenal Negronis from them. Milano Centrale is a few minutes walk away, so great for getting to the airport if needed. I would highly recommend staying here and I hope to get back soon myself. Thank you so much for an incredible stay, iQ Milan. Will definitely stay again when we return! 👍👍

IQ Hotel in Milan is a decent option for travelers looking for accommodation close to the main station. While the rooms may be slightly small, the hotel's staff is friendly and helpful, ensuring a comfortable stay for guests. The breakfast provided is also of good quality and provides a nice start to the day. It is worth mentioning that the pictures on the hotel's website may be slightly misleading. As with most hotels, it is always a good idea to set realistic expectations when booking a room. Overall, IQ Hotel in Milan is a good choice for those looking for convenient accommodation near the main station, with good service and breakfast.

  • 4/5 alisha 2 years ago on Google
We stayed for 2 nights in the IQ Hotel. The hotel is very modern and the rooms are very nice and clean. I wouldn't recommend the rooms in the first floor. Because of the metro it is very noisy until 2.00 am. We went to the reception and they changed out room very fast without any charge in the middle of the night. The Reception Team is very friendly, I definitely rate them 11/10! Especially Samuele is very kind. Breakfast was disappointing.. Because of Covid-19 you can't make self service at the buffet. The Breakfast Staff was really slow and not really friendly. I think it would be much easier to bring a plate on the table. We had to wait very long. We will definitely come again!
