    This car rental office is a rip off. I reserved a car and paid in advance and agreed to collect the car the next morning before opening hours and the employee said someone will be there. The employee only opened the office after the opening hours and due to an argument between the employee and my travel partner I was refused the car. Me, the person that reserved the car did nothing wrong. It was an employee enforcing her powers over me. She said she will make a full refund but until now there has been mo email proving this. Avoid.

    By far WORST car rental experience. When we got the car no one gave us information about how to use it or checked the damages with us. We didn't receive the dropping off information email as we were promised by the agent and then we couldn't find ONE person to support us, because clearly at 11pm everything was closed and even the emergency numbers weren't answeting, so nobody gave us information about how to drop off the car at 4am at Bergamo airport. When we finally figured out by ourselves how and where to drop off the car the was no available seat for SIXT cars and had to leave it to another company's seat. And on top of all this, we have been charged around 100€ more than what our contract indicated with no further explenation or email!

    They didn't have many options for auto cars on the day I arrived. Mini copper, BMW 2 coupe or Audi A7 while my reservation was a BMW 3 series and I need luggage space. Marco at the station was friendly and patient enough to work out A7 for me within my budget and full coverage insurance. Otherwise, I didn't plan to purchase insurance for my reservation as my credit card already covers most common cars but obviously not an A7. The moment I singed, the car was already across the street without getting down the garage to pick up the car. A7 doesn't need to be mentioned too much, one of the prettiest dynamic matrix LED headlights and tail lights!

    This place has terrible business practices. They allow you to rent a car online but when you arrive to their offices to pick it up they ask for documents that they haven’t stated as necessary in the preliminary renting process. According to them is necessary to have international license in Europe but they can’t prove it or show any legal framework to sustain it. They are not helpful but rather rude. Go to the Avis just by, they will rent you a car without international license, they are helpful and even funny. Sixt is baaaaad!

    STAY AWAY! A small toll fee of EUR 20 suddenly became EUR 240 16 months later because these guys failed to send the invoice to the correct email. Never did they try to contact me via phone, instead of sending reminders to an empty mailbox. They never let me settle with the 20 € But quickly handed over the settlement to a third party collector. I have never been treated this poorly by any rental company - ever! I strongy urge people to choose another company.

    Excellent, fast and efficient service at the heart of Milan! Collection was super easy, and we were assisted by a stellar agent, Anastasia. The car we had asked for was in excellent condition, we did not encounter any problem during our rental period, and the instructions on how to return the car beyond opening times were well timed and more than adequate. Highly recommended!

    Originally pre-booked an Alfa Romeo Giulietta Aut with full insurance for a 10 days to the Dolomites with a stop to Verona 1) Arriving at the front desk and was told that the Alfa Romeo has a very low clearance which is not good for mountain drive as it will get damage very badly (the road is actually paved all the way with no off trail) and she knows we bought full insurance 2) She suggested a upgrade to with a extra 30 euro/day (Audi Q3) which we declined. She finally convinced us to get a Minicooper Camden full electric, and the nightmare begins. It was our first full EV experience 3) we were told the car has a battery autonomy of well over 250km (actually 183km per manufacture) 4) were told that we will same on fuel as it’s an electric car (it ended up costing more than gasoline) and there will be charging station everywhere for free lime McDonalds, supermarket. Etc. (False, you need a functional phone with data, download an app and hope it can connect. Super charges are almost inexistant and regular charging station takes well over 4-6h to get the battery up 30%) 5) they gave us the car at 25% battery and we went back to the agency to ask them to help us find a charging station and the staff told us the battery is full at 100% on the left side of the pic and the 2 barres at the right is the RPM?!? And told us everything is ok and just told us to go and never intended to help us (It almost left us stranded on the high way without power) 6) Milan to Verona takes around 1.5h usually and end up taking us over 8h as we where constantly trying to find charging stations and everything down to minimum energy usage (no AC, no fan, no audio even) 7) In conclusion, the front desk knew about our itinerary to the Dolomites windy up and down road and still pushed us to get a city-drive EV car (by the way, we saw less than 3 charging station in the Dolomites) They have been dishonest about the mileage, gave us a car that’s 25% charged and told us it was 100%! Luckily, we were able to switch to a full gasoline at Verona airport after 8h of scrambling around looking for charging stations.

    I had a very bad experiance with sixt Milano.we had rented a car for two days and after returning the car the office was closed for the whole day and helpline was unable and on next day they said they will refund our 350 euros but now they are saying due to cleanliness of the car they deduct all our security. i attach the receipt its really bad for the company to provide this kind of quality service. really disappointed.

    handed the car to me right at the traffic light on a single carriage way. there were cars behind my rental car and there was absolutely no time for me to inspect damage. I found a scratch on my car on that same day, and documented it unfortunately only a few hours later. Sixt however are unwilling to to budge and are billing the full bill of the bumper to me.

    Jimmy made our renting experience excellent. He gave us clear instructions on most grey areas a non-local would have trouble such as tolls, gas, returning the vehicle after hours and even provided re-assurance that we did not need a reservation from well in advance the day of our trip. The vehicle was perfect and we did not encounter any problems.

    Disappointing experience with SIXT Car Rental Milano I recently had an extremely disappointing experience with SIXT, which I feel compelled to share as a cautionary tale for potential customers. Throughout my entire interaction with them, I encountered several serious issues that negatively impacted my rental experience. Misleading Information and price discrepancies: During the booking process, I was confronted with a variety of prices offered by the company representatives. Each time I contacted the company to clarify the information, I was provided with three different prices, leading to a lack of transparency and trust in their services. Check the price on the website before renting!!! Returning the car to a different location than initially announced: I was surprised to find that I couldn't return the car to the airport, as initially agreed upon. The car was actually supposed to be returned to a location near the airport, where you had to take a shuttle bus back to the airport. When I rented it, I was told that I could return it directly at the airport. This crucial information was not communicated to me initially, causing stress and nearly jeopardizing my flight schedule. Delayed security deposit refund and unjustified notifications: Despite being assured that the security deposit would be refunded immediately after returning the car, this did not happen. I received the refund after 7 days, which was an unpleasant surprise. Furthermore, I received a subsequent notification from the company claiming that new damages were identified on the car, even though it was not inspected at the time of return. These claims are questionable and raise suspicions about the integrity of their procedures. Even though I opted for the all-inclusive protection insurance offer, I later noticed on the invoice that I have standard insurance. These issues significantly affected the quality of services provided by SIXT, and my overall rental experience was negatively impacted. I cautiously recommend this company and suggest potential customers be extremely vigilant, seeking detailed clarifications before finalizing any transactions with them. The only advantage is that they work on weekends; otherwise, it's not worth renting from them.

    I had a fantastic experience with Sixt rentals in Milan. Elham, the agent, was incredibly helpful and provided quick service. They even allowed me to store my bags at the station so I could explore Milan Duomo. Highly recommend Sixt for their outstanding service and friendly staff!

    We had an excellent experience at this location. We did not have to wait and the agent who helped us, Anastasia, was excellent. The car was brought to us across the street from the office. It all went smoothly and it was easy to get out of Milan onto the autostrada.

    Overall a good experience here. The staff were excellent, very friendly and helpful. There was only one part I wasn't totally happy, and that was the type of car I was provided. Even though I had booked and paid in full a couple of weeks in advance for the BMW X1 (or equivalent), with the other possible variant being the Audi Q3 on the Sixt website, I was surprised to receive the Jeep Compass, which when I looked at other rental agencies were all at a cheaper price than the BMW and Audi. I had no choice but to take it as they wanted to charge me even more for a larger SUV even though I'm a platinum member and thought I was eligible for a complimentary upgrade where available. The Jeep was comfortable and good, though the mileage was very bad for a hybrid vehicle.

    If you are used to renting from Sixt in Germany, expect a sharp decline in quality and conditions of cars. Have rented here 5-6 times and ever since time there was an issue with the car (oil, ad blue, wiper fluid etc.). The cars are not handed over cleaned properly and often show a significant number of damages, paired with high mileage. Service is friendly and efficient but expect 20-30 from check in to receiving your car.

    We booked with the app the night before. When we picked up the car, we were greeted kindly and given an overview of the booking. 15 minutes later we were in the car. The car was clean and without damage. The return also went well, but there were few places marked with Sixt in the parking garage. Easy to find the key box.

    The service has exceeded my expectations! Ordered the cheapest option online (Citroen C1 or similar) and recieved an upgrade - a Fiat 500L due to shortage of car in my class. The car had only ran 7k kilometers and was great. The service of Mr. Giacomo L was also quick and clear. There were no problems when returning the vechile. Highly recommend when in Milan!

    I rented a car in July. When I left the car, I saw that the air in the tire was a little low, probably a nail stuck. 250 Euros was cut that week. Then, in October, another 480 Euros was withdrawn from my card and no one returned to my e-mails and explained to me about it. I sue you.

    Thanks, Filippo, for assistance and the car, which we received in the centre of Milano in 2 hours after we received information about it absence. Upon our arrival and despite the fact the the app showed us available cars (such as fiat 500) in the Milano center, we were informed that only Audi A5 is available which is 2 times expensive than fiat. We were surprised that we can not rely on information which provides the sixt app. Luckily we received Fiat 500X in good condition, but next time I will call in to question the information information reliability in the sixt app. Neet to note that it was easy to return the car in Malpensa airport.

    The team here - Leo and Maria were amazing! Super helpful and friendly, they were very clear with every detail and shared all information correctly.     I'd like to share an excellent experience I had with SIXT Milano Duomo, which really proves the difference between a premium / best quality-for-price rental car company vs those only focused on cheapest price (with all hidden costs along the customer journey..). Due to serious personal circumstances I had to cancel a reservation the same day of pick-up (pre-payed contract). I very much appreciated their understanding of the exceptionality of the situation which led to a free of charge cancellation. This was clearly an exception from their end (and has to be so) but the takeaway is that they are flexible and open to study each and every case deeply and serve customers at best. Thanks again and will be my only choice of car rental going forward

    Disappointing and not SIXT standards I knew before. So bad experience from the pick up through return. Dozens of scratches and damages at pick up and i had to take long video to record all these damages, no joint inspection at pick up. Then you have to show the guy at return 2 minutes video on the damages happened before your rental. On top of that they charged me Euro 72.33 + tax for less than 10% of the fuel used. Much surprised from such company like SIXT.

    Very, very disappointed. The vehicle was delivered to us with no complete fuel tank (only 6 over 8 lines and as you know the first two lines involve more fuel litres than the others), we noticed it few kilometers after departure, maybe we had to have reviewed it before but also the Staff of Sixt (we have pictures with time and date depicted). Our vehicle returning was scheduled to 11:30 but due an multiple collision in autoway to Milan (also we took pictures about it) our acces to car parking was at 11:51 (also we have photo of it) and Sixt settled as delivered hour at 11:55 causing it us an additional billing amount of 53,99 €. If Sixt wants to be strict should be done strict in all terms of the rental, for me is a shame/abuse to be strict only in terms of your interest (we mentioned to Sixt Staff the fuel tank issue showing them the pictures but no action was taken by themselves). I had rented cars in several companies and continents and only I have suffered issues with Sixt

He also suggested an opportunity to upgrade the car for a profitable price. The car was simply amazing (Volkswagen T-cross), rode 1300km with no issues. We are beyond happy:)

    I ordered a 7 seater from the site, to ensure we have room for luggage. Firstly, Sixt was the only agency providing this category. Cudos. We found the rental office very easily. The agent at the desk was very helpful and spoke clear English (still rare in Italy). The car was as expected, with ample room for 5 grownups and luggage. It ran smoothly without a problem for two weeks until we returned it. The return at the airport was easy and quick.

    The agent (Elham, thank you!) was very professional and kind. I ordered "Sixt Roulette" deal and was pleasantly surprised. Picking was easy: the documents, key and car were ready in minutes. Returning car(Milan Airport Malpensa T1) was very easy and fast too. Overall a very positive impression and I will definitely look out for Sixt when I hire a car again.

    We arrived for late pickup our vehicule and the lady at the reception helped us to collect our Fiat 500. She was very helpful and deserve 5 stars ! We were helpful to reserve and take the car within 1hr. They are also very well located in town. I would recommend using them !

    Extremely friendly and helpful team. sixt is the best car rental company due to their professionalism and varieties of cars options with high-class services and competitive prices. I'm amazed with professionalism of sixt staff, as Mrs Elaham in Milano Duomo branch so professional and friendly she represents the high quality service as she explained the options very well as well as the contract with nice smile and speedy process. I strongly recommend sixt as rental car company. They already have me as loyal client.

    Worst experience ever, I recommend picking up from different branch not this one.I arrived after working hours due to a delayed arrival so I called sixt customer service and they told me it’s ok you can pick it up the following day and will charge you starting from your pick up date. I went to pick up the car and the agent basically kept using the word because you are late we don’t have the car you picked will give you different one Jeep renegade while my original car I picked is BMW 3-series or similar so I was like that’s fine, then she was like the jeep is a higher grade! So we will charge 50 euro extra per day! And this is the only car we have since you are late or if you want you can cancel your reservation! I had an apportionment and just wanted to leave and wait until they ask for feedback, I was given 7/8 tank and still was charged for not returning full although it was noted, my advice avoid this branch and ensure the tank level is noted or just tell them I want it full if you can wait! It was noted but still got charged so now I have to contact them and share the picture of pick up versus return.

    We were very happy with this small office at the Piazza Duomo. The young gentleman was very kind, we were allowed to leave our luggage for some time in the office. The information which he gave was correct, accurate, not trying to sell us all the extras by force just by gentle explaining. The car we got was clean, working well, on time at the delivery.

    We were here in July and were served by Elham who provided us with an exceptional service, we asked for an upgrade and she was able to apply a discount for us to get the car that we wanted. She had a beautiful energy and her smile was contagious. We rented the car for almost 2 weeks, had no issues with it and returned it in Rome at the airport where the staff was also very kind. I really recommend this agency specially that we have had other bad experiences with other companies in Europe. Special thanks to Elham you are a sunshine 🌞

    Never rent from this company again. He rented a jeep in January at the agreed fee and I just handed the car over without checking it and upon delivery they said we will inform you by email. After four days they sent me a charge + 100 € And I sent them a message why they are charging me 100 € while something else was agreed upon someone from their offices called me and said sorry I will look into it, no they didn't just call me they just sent me the invoice and they kept my money! away!!

    The staff in the branch were really nice and helpful, especially the branch manager Leonardo who helped us a lot even after we took the car. We had a small problem (engine light turned on) and he was really communicative and caring and made sure we got a replacement car in another branch (and even an upgrade!). Everything was super easy and comfortable, and we would definitely rent here again :)
