    Great staff.my returned car have to be at this location. however, at the website it doesn’t mention how to open the gate for the parking area since there is no body near to ask, i had to park the car at paid car parking and walk to the office and ask the staff how to open it. ( you have to press the push button near the gate and wait until the automatic reply to be finished “it will be speaking on Italian don’t worry just let it finish after 15 second approximately ” then a person will speak with you just say sixt and the gate will open )

    We rented a car in November 2022, everything was fine. But in 6 months after they sent us invoices to pay traffic violation fees without any evidences, police protocols etc. Moreover they reply on our letters very slow and give us links to pay which does not work. For 2 violations with no proofs they wanted 30 euros. After some time they sent the case to eCollect - the same problem. But each invoice costs 100 euros. And nothing from police. No clear understanding for what we should pay this sixt administrative fee. DO NOT RECOMMEND

    Luca and the staff are the greatest assets and employees of Sixt in Milan, Italy! They went above and beyond their calls of duty to ensure that we were satisfied. They asked all the necessary questions and made sure that we had the ideal vehicle for our trip. They are excellent problem solvers, caring staff, hard working employees, and great people. We had the best price possible with the best quality vehicle for our drive. I always have the best experience with Sixt in each country so far, and this Sixt location has been the best experience of all Sixt locations primarily due to Luca's, and the staff's, concern and critical thinking.

    I booked a car with sixt from milano to rome. When we arrived to the sixt place at the central station, the lady told me that i couldnt rent a car because my drivers livense was less then a year old! It is NOT i have had my drivers licens for more than a year! The date on the card is just when i got my new drives license after the other one was stolen! I then had to pay en extra 350 euros so my boyfriend could drive instead of me! Such a bad experience and miscommunication! I told her that it was not true but i couldnt do anything. We have tried calling the customers service in italy every day since, and we never get trough. We have waited up to 40 minutes to get in contact but no one i answering the phone! I will not book with sixt again it is impossible to get help and get in contact with them :(

    Professionals, and friendly. Ask for Julia, she’s one of the best I’ve dealt with, beautiful smile & solves the problem. I rented a small hybrid fiat 500, and drove it to como, the car was clean, tidy and tiny.

    Warning! Scam rental agency. In addition of not giving us the good car range we paid for and with cuts on the upfront tyre (see picture attached) we are stuck 30km away from Milano as the engine started to choke ("insufficient oil pressure") and we have been told to put some oil again. Now the garage has come but Sixt is not willing to send us another car and we are supposed to take a cab on our own to get back to Milan. We are losing a 2 day rental to visit Come Lake just because of how bad these guys are.

    I thought the service of a car rental could only be bad or average, but this agency was awesome. I had a trip problem and the manager and his team helped me a lot, trying to find solutions (it wasn't a car rental problem) to help me have a good trip. Very nice and helpful people :) Edit : I changed from 5 stars to 1, because even though everything I said above is true, I ended up being charged almost 300 euros more that what was agreed based on an invoice. Even though the team was awesome and nice, overcharging like this and despite what was agreed on an invoice I received is very wrong.

    First time with Sixt and not the last time! Good, professional and kind personnel to assist you with anything.. We rented a car for 10 days without no problems. I would recommend for you who consider renting a car. They speak also English. We got a Peugeot 308 and it felt brand new. All damages previously were registered and is noted on the contract. Drop off is easy, just follow the instructions and use the GPS to get to the parking lot correctly. Thank you Sixt. Regards Anton

    Staff were very friendly and helpful. However once again (this is the 2nd time in 12 months that I'm renting from SIXT) I did not get the vehicle type for which I booked and pre-paid for. Ended up having to pay additional to 'upgrade' to a better vehicle.

    A great experience with Stefano and Tatiana in sixt milano centrale. from 12-15 Nov. Personal help and care from pick up and drop off the Skoda which as a great car. Tatiana sent a helpful video to us get through the Milan Linate car park and return the car correctly. Great car and service. Highly recommended. Will come again.

    Not great! I called Sixt’s customer service to the number indicated in their website, to tell them that my bus was delayed, but the message didn’t make it to their office, so my car was not ready and we had to wait 40 minutes. Furthermore the tank was showing around 2/3 fill when I received the car (1st picture), they told me the display was not worling properly, however when i returned the car, I filled the tank and the display showed full (2nd picture). So they lied , probably to get free gas at customer’s expenses (?). On the contrary if the tank was not teturned full, they would have charged me the gas plus a fee. For this reason I was promised EUR 20 refund, but it obviously never happened. Just like any car rental in Miland, they will rip you off one way or another.

    Highly recommend this Sixt office. Whenever we travel in Europe, we use Sixt - reliable, easy to book, pick up and return cars, in office experience is always perfect. This time our experience was far and beyond perfect - Anastasia helped up so much, got us a great car and generally was very attentive making us enjoying our rental experience. I would highly recommend this Sixt for renting a car and going to the beautiful Italy.

    Amazing experience, very easy pick up, all the attendants were extremely nice and super helpful. For English language speakers, they were very accommodating. Its to the right hand side of the escalators on your way out of the station. The car was clean, perfect, and wonderful to drive. Would absolutely use them again! Edit: Maya and Yao (pretty sure that was his name, sorry if I'm wrong) were very kind and helpful!

    Very disappointed in my recent experience. I have paid a premium amount nearly £800 to hire a convertible cat the image showed a 4 series BMW. When I arrived to collect my hire vehicle I was informed no convertible was available. I have included images of my hire notification to show. I was told I was given an upgraded vehicle although it was only a saloon vehicle and even worse it has a break fault on it. I have provided an image. Not only did I not get the convertible I paid the highest premium for I was given a sub vehicle with break fault Disgusting. I only hired a vehicle because I wanted a convertible and I got a car worse than my own at home. Waste of money I wouldn't bother. I hired a convertible for nearly £800 and got a sub standard BMW with a break fault. I was told no convertible was available even tough I hired 6 weeks in advance. I suspect this is false representation of what they hVe available. And even worse they are gappy to hire vehicles with break faults Disgusting.

    Sarah at Sixt literally saved our holiday from being a disaster after we were messed around with a horrible car broker service. Sarah was professional and most importantly human when helping us find a solution to our situation and allowing us to get going on our way. Getting, using and returning the car was then simple and straightforward Massive thanks to Sarah and Sixt in Milano centrale. Would definitely book again and I’ve learnt my lesson, never go through car rental brokers!!

    We rented a van for a week and all the process done online went smoothly. Accessible and kind team! Yao was extremely helpful and nice for both the check in and check out process, whilst the person at the desk also made it an easy rent. Highly recommend!

    I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT TO BOOK A CAR THROUGH SIXT SPECIALLY FROM THIS BRANCH. We had a real bad experience with Sixt. We booked a cab well in advance with full payment and insurance coverage. At the day of pick-up, they refused to hand us the car due to some bizzare reason that photo on my country's driving license is not clear. I had a valid IDP and passport to support prove my identity but still they were not at all helpful and we wasted 5 hours of our planned vacation attempting to get an alternate solution. When we called our booking agent and asked the Sixt executive to talk to them, they gave another reason for denying us the car saying that my Driving License is of some old format. To me they gave the reason that my photo is not 100% clear. That's when I felt something fishy! I asked them for explanation but they simply denied me! I felt it was a case of clear racial discrimination. Finally, we had to spend more than the double amount to get another car (fall from an automatic BMW to a manual hatchback) from another company. They accepted my Driving License easily. I checked with Italy Car Rental and Noleggiare also and even they were ready to accept my Driving License. I had book cars for rent in the past through EuropCar multiple times and never faced any problem. So, in my opinion, never choose Sixt. Our whole 15-day vacation was single-handedly ruined by a Sixt employee.

    I declined all of the insurance coverages in person and in my online reservation. The attendant still added it to my rental and it took 6 weeks of fighting to get the refund. However they finally refunded the insurance portion. I will continue to use Sixt . . . I would just recommend being very certain that they do not add the additional protection/insurance when you check out. I have only had that problem here in Milan. Otherwise the rental worked out well.

    Check-in and drop-off was a seamless experience as the branch located conveniently just on your way out of train station to your right. Friendly staff. Giulio did a great job in upgrading my reservation, thanks to him and his female colleagues at this branch.

    MR. ANDREA REFUSED 4 DIFFERENT CARDS - Last april I was starting my journey around Italy, and had made a reservation for the Milan Central Station branch. When I arrived, I gave Andrea (supervisor, who refused to give me his surname) the card which I had used to make the online reservation. He refused to use the card, claiming "security reasons". I presented 3 other different cards, which he also refused, for the same reasons. Since I had no other cards (I had already tried 4 different cards), I was unable to pick up my reservation. I walked out of the store, went to a different rental car company, and rented with the first card I presented... If you have some specific rules regarding which type of cards you accept, they should be clearly advertised on the website during the reservation process, not some small letters on the bottom of the page that can be easily missed. Furthermore, you should instruct your "supervisors" to be more helpful and polite, rather than cold and distant, as if they don't care if you just lost your mean of transportation and risk having your holidays ruined.

    I was assigned a car without the desk person telling me it was an upgrade. I was charged almost an extra 400 euros for that. Be careful when you pick up your car especially when they ask for your electronic signature on their screen ... don't let them scroll down the contract for you (how foolish of me...)

    Booked a car for 12 pm. Got there 12.05.. there was a line… 1.00 pm I finally got to check in desk. Then quite fast registration.. and 1.10 I’m waiting for my car. 30 later, I went back again to ask where the car is, they say oh sorry it’s coming, one moment, it on the way.. but probably the car was on the way from Germany because at 14.30 car was not there! I had to go to the center of Italy for an event, obviously with 3 hours delay that made no sense, so I canceled my reservation.. thank you for ruining my Saturday.

    My first experience with Sixt was five star. I rented from Milan Central Station and Sarah at the front desk was super nice and helpful. She followed up with an email and even responded to some questions I had on her day off. Above and beyond. The car itself was a nice hybrid, in very good condition. All in all a five star experience.

    I had a terrible experience at Sixt in Milan on 30th June 2022. I had pre-booked a car for my two week holiday in Italy, with the whole holiday being based around the ability to tour in a car. When I arrived at Sixt and presented my UK driving licence to the young man at the counter he said he wasn't sure if it was valid as it did not have a photograph. My licence is the old style paper one, which I have not updated due to it not being necessary unless you change your address, which I haven't. I have used this licence to rent cars and camper vans in Italy (and other European countries) from other companies on many previous occasions without any problems. The young man consulted the manager, Leonardo Sciannelli, about whether it was valid in Italy and Signore Sciannelli told me that it was not and cancelled the rental. Obviously, this was a shock as I suddenly found our holiday plans turned upside down at the last minute and, to make matters worse, the manager seemed unsympathetic and unwilling to discuss the matter, so sure was he that he was correct. However, luckily there is an Avis/Budget office across the square and they were familiar with paper licences and accepted it without question. Unfortunately, the only car available at such short notice was considerably more expensive than the one I had reserved at Sixt. Furthermore, I later consulted a Carabinieri (police) officer in Milan who was a superviser and after looking at my licence he told me that there was no problem and that it was valid in Italy for up to three months. I am also unable to find anything on the internet that states that paper licences are not valid in Italy. Upon returning to Milan I visited Sixt again and politely informed Signore Scianelli that as far as I had been unable to asertain he had been mistaken in not renting me the car. Nevertheless, he would not accept this and advised me to write to Sixt customer service for clarification, which I have done. Three weeks later I am still waiting for a reply. Two lessons learnt: 1. change my licence for a new one before the next trip, just in case, and 2. don't use Sixt again (it was the first and last time for me).

    I booked a car in the class of BMW series 3 or Mercedes Class but all they good give me was a Volkswagen Tiguan which was way too big and clearly under in terms of quality. They did not offer any help besides proposing me a 30€ upgrade for a bmw X4. In addition, the car only had half full tank at picking while the lady at the counter didn't mention it. Clearly the company is lying on surbooking and their positioning is very unfair. Very poor customer service compared to sixt agencies i encountered in France
