I feel sorry for customers whose first Goyard experience is with this boutique. Our experience was very poor and we didn't even have to lineup. I can only imagine how disappointing it must be for those that line up to eventually enter the store and be treated with disrespect. Being told (curtly I might add) to wipe our shoes (from rain) and being looked up and down to scan for our worthiness was beyond the pale. After the scan was completed, the staff judged that we were worthy and actually treated us well from that point forward, but the damage had been done and we lost our desire to shop. I'd highly recommend trying another Goyard boutique such as in Hong Kong or Beijing, where I've had excellent experiences, or switch to another brand like Loewe where we had consistently great experiences in Milan and Italy. When you buy luxury goods, you're paying for the value add in: 1. Buying experience, 2. Quality product, 3. After sales service, and 4. Status. If you have to stand in line for 30+ minutes, and then be treated with disrespect, you're losing half the value add of the luxury brand. Why bother with that brand then?

Rude and disrespectful staff. They show the bags for certain people. Also be aware of handing them over your ID or passport if they ask for ot prior to any purchase as they claim they need to check if you made any previous purchase. Additionally, based on personal experience the leather quality is the worst as you can see in the pictures.

I would like to make a complain about the store in MILAN. First of all, when I came to the store with my wife after waiting for two hours in 18/8 17:30, and want to try some bags, the sales associate who serve us called Julia, gave us a very bad attitude, and then she chat with other two sales, looks like she don’t want to serve us. When we selected a bag and want to choose another one for our friend, she said one client can only buy one bag, even we have two people. So we want to take some time to choose which one we want to buy. But the other sales (like manager) ask us to wait outside the store but not in the store. That is very ridiculous. It look likes we disturbing them to work. But we are their customer too!.It makes a very bad shopping experience and a bad image about Milan. How do your brand to be success with treating your customers like that?

Do not come here! Service is super slow and the queue is usually 2+ hours long. Just bad management and bad customer experience. They could simply let more people in the store but they chose not to and just let the customers get frustrated. Absolutely the worst and slowest store in this area. YOUR TIME IS WORTH MORE MONEY THAN WAITING HERE!!!!

We waited 2 hours when we came at 1030 (the store opens at 10) and there was a queue. We were served by Andreas and what an enjoyable service from him. The guy at the door was also very helpful to check different stocks while we waited in line. Thank goodness Andreas told us the tax office is nearby so we went to process our refund but realised we were given someone else tax forms by goyard! Imagine if we had only found this out at the airport!! We went back to goyard to get our forms sorted and they almost gave us another person form again but we checked now and finally it was mine. I don’t know what is going to happen to the guy that has our tax refund form and passport number. Please check ya purchases and tax forms before you leave.

The queue usually starts from 930am onwards, even on a weekend. Was here on a Saturday morning, the queue moved quite quickly and the staff were extremely professional. No idea what the bad reviews were but I was served with the utmost professionalism. Very happy to have gotten by preferred Goyard bag in under 30mins. Staff were helpful and polite, you’re not allowed to take any photos inside, but you’re allowed to make video calls. Limited to 10 customers in the shop at each time, it’s a beautiful gallery of Goyard bags and items.

So so experience. No instructions on how the line wait times worked. Got 2 beautiful pieces but the process takes way too long. Only one in the area so people choose to wait in line. Very small once inside.

I should have listen to the recent bad reviews. Waited outside for 30 mins only to find out the styles I wanted were not available. I didn’t not even get to go inside because I was told the line would take about another 40 mins long with only 3 parties ahead of me. It is also true the store is far from fully stocked based on the inquires of other customers in line. Zero concern for their customer’s valuable vacation time. This is not the honorable path to exclusivity.

Would give 0! Waited TWO hours in line with other individuals I got to know in line and the individuals in the store finally came out to answer if they had the bags everyone was interested in. I would say half the line left because they had EXTREMELY little product in store. Very unhelpful and inconsiderate of people’s time. For example for all tote bags they only had black, white, orange, and maybe yellow. Maybe it’s supply chain but when/if you go bang on that door until they tell you if they have your product. Waste of time!

Amazing experience at the Milan boutique despite the near hour wait for about 10 people in front of us. The associate considered the styles I wanted, and pulled out a gorgeous style for us not even on display in the store. They explained every detail for each bag we enquired about. The store itself is very tiny and crowded, which is why they must limit the number of buyers in the store.

Arriving at approximately 9:50 am, I found around 15 people already waiting ahead of me. Fortunately, the sun wasn't directly in our faces. The person at the entrance was quite helpful, checking our preferences and item availability to prevent unnecessary waiting. We eventually entered at 11:10 am. Unfortunately, the lady attending to us wasn't exactly the friendliest. It turns out they're quite selective about who gets a bag – unless you're a VIP or have a profile with them. Interestingly, most of the regular bags had customizations, and they made it clear they wouldn't consider offering them without these designs. Quite a peculiar experience, to say the least.

My friend and I took a day-trip to Milan from Rome and knew we wanted to splurge on some luxury goodies at Goyard. When we arrived, there were about 10 people in front of us, however, after the sales associate told us the wait-time, about 4 people in front of us left. Still, we waited 2 hours to get in (even after they told us it would only be about 45 minutes). The SA inside didn't look too friendly, but once we started chatting with her, she opened up and was very helpful. They didn't show us a ton of inventory, they basically asked what we were looking for and then showed us items that aligned with our requests. Luckily, they had my friend's dream bag and the matching wallet, card holder, and passport holder. I was looking for a Jouvence GM, 2 card holders, and a passport holder - all of which they had. So I left very happy. The experience was really awesome - they were very courteous inside and I think the long wait is due to people that just go in to browse or people that wait in line and then call their groups once it's their turn to go in. It happened a few times where someone in line would get on the phone and like 5-7 people would show up to go inside with them. Some of the people that were in there when we were, asked if they could buy X amount of bags and wallets and the SA's had to explain the limitations. All of our SLGs came in small boxes but the larger bags do not. I totally understand that it's not ideal to take boxes, especially to cram into our luggage, but they told us that boxes are usually only provided for SLGs and trunks. I like to organize my purchases in my bedroom display - so I was a little bummed that my toiletry just came loose in a dust bag. Anyway, GREAT experience all around - very happy with my first Goyard visit/purchase.

while I did have to wait in line for the store, I respect the staff want to ensure and intimate shopping experience for their guests. The store does have limited selection, due to a shortage of stock, the the manager (a gentleman) was extremely helpful in letting those waiting know what was available.

I visited this location on a Wednesday. I joined the line around 2:30pm, was in the store by 4:30pm and out by 5pm. Although the line was long each staff member made the experience worth the wait. When i was able to enter the store my SA thanked me for waiting and for my patience. She asked what items i was interested in. She was kind and patient. I was able to get the one item I wanted. I initially wanted the green petit flot bag, but after careful consideration I went went the classic black style. My interaction with all the staff members were very welcoming. I can’t remember her name but Thank you for your help.

My one star is not related to the buying experience or sales associates, but its because of the staff member that was responsible for the queue outside. Why? He asked us what we were looking for individually to let us know what’s available and what’s not.. he said everything we wanted is not available and we should leave to not waste our time. The second day we went, we ignored him and continued waiting, surprisingly what we asked for were all available in all colors I wanted.

If there are ZERO STAR, that will be better, today it raining outside. I wait outside already one hour. I really do not understand why they can hire more staff to serve customs in the same time instead of just one group of custom.

Small shop, fewer Items available, extremely crowded and a long queue. Paris is the better choice for Goyard. The staff is very welcome and professional in Milan.

Very bad treatment and they say it is forbidden to take pictures, and there are people who take pictures normally just so they know them, but no one plays. They take pictures and say it is forbidden and you are stuck in a queue. There are people who come on appointments and enter and ask them for appointments so that I can enter on an appointment and they say no.

Limited inventory. I waited an hour and half in line, and showed them 4 things that I was looking for and they told me they didn’t have any of it. The wallet I wanted in green, they only had black in stock. And the other bags I wanted, they only had them in 3 colors. So I didn’t end up buying anything. In my opinion, there is no point in having this shop open if you don’t even have enough inventory for the demand. Don’t waste your time/day here

Disrespectful!!! The woman with super thin brows was so annoying and grumpy for no reasons she acts like crazy and raising her face with her eyeballs almost fell out every time I say LITERALLY ANHTHING and it’s only about the Goyard product of interest. It was so strange she was acting like a craZy horse whenever I do or say something so we literally had to leave to store while shopping and spending 30’ waiting to get in. SO TERRIBLE SHOPPING FOR FRENCH BRANDS IN ITALY!!!

Quite a pleasant experience shopping here despite what some people experienced - fast service and my purchase was completed within 20 minutes! Super easy. The man who opened the door to welcome us was nice too!

If shunning business is the new marketing than Goyard has it well developed. The phone does not work or ring to anything. 7 Unanswered emails as a repeat customer. This is an embarrassing, ridiculous way to "manage" a store or business.

So, The bag my sister wanted was available, but because its her first time and not registered in their system.. they cannot sell it to us ??!! Atrocious customer service, especially from Giuseppe. Poor communication skills and lacks common mannerism, should not be working in luxury retail. I had an appointment, but I was early and there was nobody waiting. He refused to see me and insisted to come back at my appointment time. I told him I am walking in, and he gave me an attitude. You are a disgrace to the company. If you’re looking to buy Goyard, go to Paris. Stay away from the Milano store. They will tell you everything is out of stock even if you are within purchase limits. I’ve been buying Goyard for many years, and this was the most disturbing experience. Goyard, do better with your employees.

I'm very disappointed with the male manager of this store and his attitude could discredit this famous brand. There were 2 Middle Eastern women in front of us and 3 Middle Eastern women behind us. We waited for over 2 hours and it was the turn of the 2 women in front of us to enter. At that moment, they asked the women behind us to come in with them, and they cut in line. I explained the situation to the male manager, but he did not respond. He just stared at him stupidly. People standing in front of stores are not idiots. All of them are recognized for their abilities in their respective countries. You don't just sell stuff, you have to develop more professionalism.

Very crowded very small shop, the line seems short but they take only one person in every approx 15 min… so if u r at the end of the line of 10 people u will wait for 2,5 hrs.. good luck!
