If you visit Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic, make it your business to visit Le Cafe. I can tell you that just the coffee alone is worth the trip. There are few places that can create a feeling of comfort and good taste while also creating and providing scrumptious food. They also have a buffet lunch that is outstanding, although I favor their breakfasts. The staff is attentive and friendly without being intrusive or overbearing. The establishment is absolutely SPOTLESS. Their decor is visually pleasing and quaint. I tend to be snobbish about cleanliness about restaurant restrooms and this establishment's restrooms are excellent as well. Always clean, well lit and modern. Furthermore, the restaurant is conveniently located within a modern supermarket with an excellent array of domestic and international foods. There is a Scotiabank as well as a private hospital and plenty of medical offices as well. This restaurant is a solid 5/5.

Another great place to grab some really good food. Tried it for the first time and I'm hooked. For the price and portions.. it's definitely a winner.

Great restaurant, it's on the side of a grocery store & probably the best regular priced food in Puerto Plata. If you are looking for a clean place with lots of options, this is the spot for you.

The interior is comfortable, both in terms of décor and A/C setting. But that's where the positives ended for me. I don't know what other reviewers liked about the coffee. Mine was profusely bitter. I ordered a bottled water, and it came at room temperature. Really? A restaurant that serves bottled water at room temperature?? The food was OK, nothing remarkable. I won't be going back.
