Beautiful clean, soft sand and crystal clear water. You can rent chairs and umbrellas, but do not have to.

Beautiful well maintained beach! Love it!

This is the top beach of El Malecon, and took its name from the Cosita Rica, the first restaurant ever established there. The scenery is beautiful, golden sand and shallow swimming areas. I often visit Carihuela there for the excellent drinks, also I like the Swank VIP and Cosita Rica Restaurant. ElevenPOP is another great restaurant with very nice beach front and service.

This is a nice beach. I went here while I was at Puerto Plata and was satisfied with my experience. I walked onto the beach and set my beach towel down on the beach. The sand was nice and soft, which I liked. I came to the beach while I was on a tour, so I didn’t have to much time to be at the beach. Because of this, I didn’t go swim in the water. After laying around on the beach, I left, satisfied with my experience. I gave this beach five stars because it has nice sand.
