More waterfalls in Chiapas right? By far the best waterfalls, easy to get with colectivo from san cris. Around ADO station you’ll see a bunch of places with vans, ask for Comitan (around $60 mxn-1hr30mins) from comitan cross the street and take another colectivo to chiflon ($40 mxn-45 mins) and then a mototaxi to the park ($10-7mins). Choose the right side of the park, and hike all the way up to the very last waterfall , you can swim at the bottom to cool off. Entry is $50. Its nooot worth it to take a one day tour to chiflon and montebello, not enough time and if you have to choose go for chiflon!

Amazing place, one of the best sights in Chiapas. Ignore the cheap tour deals from San Cristobal, and base yourself in lovely Comitan. We arrived to the falls from comitan at 9am and were literally the only ones there for over 2 hours.

Absolutely stunning. Easy to visit in one day from San Cristobal De Las Casas. Just take Colectivo to Comitan and then across the road you'll find another Colectivo to waterfalls.

The pictures of this place do not pay justice to the uniqueness and magic in there. The beginning looks very nice, just a usual trail next to some waterfalls, but as you reach “el velo de novia “ (the main waterfall which is referred to as the brides’ veil) you will understand this is one of the most wonderful waterfalls. Don’t miss out on the upper waterfall called La corona (the crown) , just continue going up and you will see a gate with a man issuing tickets to access to the top part of the waterfall. Great spot for a swim up there and get to see the entire waterfall.

Beautiful place with several waterfalls on the way up to the top. The walk up to the main Waterfall Vela Novia is well maintained and I felt it was a easy walk. There were people of all ages going up to the top during our visit. Sadly the two top waterfalls over Vela Novia was closed due to a recent landslide. Great to visit during Monday-Friday as it is less people. Entry is 50$ There is a Zip Line that you can take from the top back down for around 400-500pesos. We did not do it.

I don’t think I can begin to explain how absolutely beautiful this place really is. I don’t think it’s very difficult to reach the first viewpoint, that you can see on the third picture, but there are other two after that one, at 800mts. and after 1km. if I’m not mistaken, I didn’t get there so I don’t know how the path is. Personally I decided to go back to the main entrance on the zip line which was really fun, and they have 2-3 different packages for different prices

Beautiful waterfall, definitely worth the detour. Takes around 2 hours to go up and down. I would recommend planning more time If you want to enjoy the water.

Beautiful piece of paradise, definitely worth a visit if you’re in a Chiapas (and Chiapas, definitely worth a visit if you’re in Mexico…! :)). Photos doesn’t really express the beauty of this path and waterfalls, WHSmith are indeed majestic.

Such an incredible experience. The waterfalls are located in the natural park that opens in the morning and closes in the evening around 5pm. Not many people know that it’s possible to sleep inside the park in a few cabañas. You have the opportunity to sleep surrounded by nature, I recommend it!

Absolutely worth going there. Check entrance prices, as there are two sides. Left entry less expensive. Consider spending the night in Comitán, a lot of charm.

The view and the experience just worth the visit. Just make sure to go on a swimsuit, you’ll get wet for sure and comfy shoes.

They had stairs to climb and railing to hold onto. I'm a senior. It was fantastic. People in swimming. Inexpensive

Incredible. I couldn't believe how big the last one is! Real pretty. It gets nice and cool in the water. I think it is technically prohibited to swim, at least in some places we saw signs, but we saw some people swimming and did the same.
