(Translated by Google) This museum is free to me, has great architecture, has spectacular works. I recommend the following situations, I arrived on foot I do not know if I have parking, you could look on the website to see, the first thing you will see is the great architecture that this building has, I am a fan of photography and it was very sad to know that in this enclosure you cannot take photos with professional cameras due to copyright situations. You can only take photos with your cell phone and with professional cameras to the architecture, unfortunately I did not have a wide angle lens to be able to squeeze, what this great enclosure offers. But I did take many photos with my cell phone and you can take them by this means. At the beginning I will not lie to you I felt a little slow the pace of the exhibitions, It seemed like a museum, but I realized that this small induction prepares you for a great surprise at the end. The last three wings are the ones that struck me the most. They are simply very very very very beautiful. A first Flash with Frida Kahlo, in order to observe works of the greatest painters of contemporary Mexico, the Mexican school was my most preferred room, I will not tell you more, but when leaving that room, it is clear that the guides will know that you will leave With great emotion. They ask you what you think about the exhibition and you are amazed by saying WOW, then you pass to two other atonements a very interactive one where thanks to the conductive ink, the wall becomes a work of art by showing very nice animations through projectors. I liked this room. This museum is free and is amazing.

NOTE: The hours listed are *not* correct! The museum is open only on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. That means the museum is CLOSED on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. I’ve submitted updated times, but I guess Google is still reviewing them.

Go ahead if you like to see in detail, we enter at 1 and when we realized it was already 5 o'clock and we still had half of it !!!! 100% sure I'll be back to go through what I missed! In the old house of the Counts of Valparaíso, and the first headquarters of the National Bank of Mexico, the Museo Foro Valparaíso reopened its doors in November 2021. It has 16 rooms of viceregal art and the route allows you to admire the beauty of the building. Preferable to arrive by appointment. Free entrance. Gorgeous collection of Mexican paintings spanning centuries, in a beautiful mansion originally owned by the Valparaiso family. Most of the artwork is on the top floor in various rooms which are well staffed with helpful and friendly workers. When you are visiting various places in the Centro Histórico, make sure that you stop here for the fabulous art and beautiful colonial architecture. Free entry.

Amazing building with an extremely well curated collection of Mexican art from the 1700s to 1960s. The building is from 1750s and features some impressive architecture like a doble helix staircase and a double courtyard.

It is located in what was the Palace of the Counts of San Mateo de Valparaíso and Marqueses del Jaral de Berrio (so called because in New Spain those constructions that could potentially house the King of Spain if he had come to these lands, had to have a hall or room of the Estrado, where the King would stay). It was built between 1769 and 1772 by the Architect Francisco Guerrero y Torres. Also noteworthy is its arch without apparent support of 17 meters long. And its sui generis Double helical staircase. I highly recommend the visit. It is a very rewarding experience to admire the work of great painters and sculptors whose main theme is Mexico. Museography and reconstruction with the great support of the National Bank of Mexico. (Original) Espectacular Museo de Arte Relacionado con México. (Translated by Google) It seems to me that there are still elements to attract the attention of all types of audiences, children are not very excited, that although there are interactive rooms with a bracelet that you get at the beginning, they do not have a real order, you necessarily have to wait for the staff to guide you The works of authors are few, a couple at most. It travels very fast, in less than an hour. (Translated by Google) An amazing site. His painting collection is impressive. It has works by the most renowned artists in the history of Mexico, from the viceregal period to the present: Cabrera, Correa, Villalpando, Pingret, Clavé, Landesio, Velasco, Gedovius, Ruelas, Rivera, Siqueiros, Kahlo, O'Gorman, Varo, Toledo, etc. The part of the bank's history is very interesting and well mounted, including the interactive rooms that are dynamic and modern. The staff is very friendly and they answer any questions, they know how to explain the rooms and they illustrate well the themes and the works that you find. The building is simply spectacular. You get tired of taking pictures and you don't see in them how beautiful the space is. Take at least two hours to get through it well and calmly. The quota is limited to 700 people per day so you must arrive early. (Original) Un sitio increíble. Su colección de pintura es impresionante.
