I love how we have these unique cuisine in San Francisco I can try without flying thousands of miles to Nepal. The food here is so delicious and the people there are really nice. The cook came over to say hello and kept pouring us drinks 😂 They have very good service. I feel I’m ready to climb Mount Everest after eating this food 😁

Fantastic experience on all levels - this was my best dining experience in several years. The food was ultra flavorful and the meat (lamb, chicken, and salmon) were all perfectly tender. The staff was courteous and generous. As far as pricing goes, we felt like we time-warped back 5 years. $15 bottle of wine at a restaurant seems unheard of, and food prices were also reasonable. We got a plate of momo and 3 main dishes for 4 people and this was a perfect amount of food. We will most certainly be coming back and we hope to see you there!

Food: 4/5 Service: N/A Ambiance: N/A Overall: It's a good choice if you want something different for take out. The extended review... Food: Basil Lamb Combo - 4/5 - The good thing about this is you get a complete meal and tasty things to try. There were lentils and veggies that came with the dish that were very flavorful. Add some rice and naan and you are good to go. The basil lamb itself was very fragrant and I enjoyed it very much. Service: N/A - I did take out! Ambiance: N/A - I did take out!

Amazing from start to finish! Excellent service. Excellent food. The owner/chef stopped by to make sure our dishes were to our liking. Who takes the time to do this anymore? You can tell they care about their customers and quality of food. Will be back with more friends ❤️👍

Solid spot way up in Bernal Heights with staple Nepalese dishes. The momos are good, and the combo plate with tadka and veg is super nice (love the metal plate). I only wish it included achaar and raita! Lacks a bit of what I loved about the food in Nepal, but pretty good for America. Overall a nice experience.

This place is the finest hole in the wall! My husband and I stumbled upon this place while on our evening walk and the smell of the restaurant lured us in. We couldn’t help ourselves but to read the story of the restaurant on the wall and where it began. We were lucky enough to be greeted by the owner! If you chat him up, he’ll even sit with you and have wine. A wonderful story and wonderful homely atmosphere. I don’t even know where to begin with the food. It was all so good. We tried almost everything and gladly took leftovers home where we even finished them that night. The flavours down to the blends of spices. It was all so good. I’m Sri Lankan and can really vet this place as amazing food filled with rich culture. I can’t wait to go back.

Really great cosy place for authentic Nepalese food in SF. The store owners are incredibly nice and welcoming. Parking might be available more easily on the street next to the store or a couple of blocks down. My pick of the treat was the steamed Himalayan momos we had!

Delicious dishes! Deserves the really high ratings. The lamb platter was out of this world. Such a nice service, gave us complimentary wine free of charge as well!

Great spot for some authentic Nepalese food at a solid price. The food is delicious the and portion sizes are generous. The garlic naan is a must, along with the dumplings.

Busy area, a bit rundown, parking can be a challenge, dinner area is narrow & noisy. That notwithstanding the food is very good. If you're hungry, enjoy Asian food, and happen to be in the area your tastebuds will thank you.

Best Jhol momos I have had in a long while. Owner/chef uncle and aunt were really friendly and humble. Made us feel right at home.
