My husband took my 20 month old baby who has fever over 48 hours, previously he took her 2 times. They said come back if she still with fever. Tonight she has been complaining of pain, she doesn’t talk but she looks off, she haven’t drink enough water and I know for a previous experience they are very selective with their clients, so if you’re white your ok don’t worry about this review BUT if you’re Latino or Black like my husband then more likely they won’t see your child, no mention if you’re not dressing nice or they know you’re coming from a shelter they will ask you not to go there, they will say “try General Hospital” that’s another story. Since my daughter was seen yesterday and they prescribed antibiotics they just told my husband “there’s no pharmacy here” and he didn’t a prescription, he said wanted someone to see our baby girl who once again has been over 48 hours with high fever, is not drinking water, looks sleepy and I think is an emergency. But I guess he’s not the kind of clients they like to see there. So sad how they discriminate minorities.

The best emergency child care that we have been to. We trust their doctors and absolutely love their services. We have tested them more than 5 times for both our kids.

We just visited UCSF Mission Children's ER. I and my daughter were sitting in waiting area for more than hour. There were no patients. Then they transferred us into patient room and we were waiting there more than two hours. At beginning after my request registered nurse showed up and checked my daughter's asthma wheezing. After more than three hours none pedaetrician came into the room, then registered nurse stated that I can leave and go home without further objective explanations. It is second time we facing with unethical, unprofessional night shift ER medical staff of Mission Bay location. If there are no patients, what are they doing instead checking and properly releasing patients. What for they are getting paid by medical insurance provider just for hanging out, not performing their assigned duties. Probably sleeping in shaded dark room. Shortly lazy, rude and idiotic crew members.

I cannot express how much this hospital has given me a piece of mind especially the numerous of times I’ve taken my daughter to the emergency room. As I sit here now, I want to acknowledge ER resident Phil Delrosario and I’m assuming Phil’s attendee Aaron. They are so easy to talk to, bedside manner is definitely there and you can tell they genuinely care. They are compassionate and these are the doctors we need especially when it’s comes to our little people. Thank you UCSF for giving this mom a piece of mind.

I wanted to update these reviews. We rushed into the hospital early morning and received urgent care immediately. We were able to sit and wait inside a room. (They have TV for the kids to watch!) The nurses were all super helpful and did what they could to calm my son. I couldn't have asked for better care.

Going to the ED is something no parent wants to do. Having a child on the spectrum adds another level of anxiety. We found ourselves spending the day with the wonderful medical staff today. They were beyond awesome, and I am so grateful to them.

Nicole and her team provided excellent care to our toddler from admission all the way to discharge . The staff were all very efficient, caring and professional which led us to completely entrusting them in caring for our child .

If I were judging solely off my last experience at the ED I would’ve rated it 1 star however in the past it has been better. This is gonna be a long one Short points ; staff were over worked, Staff were unknowledgeable , Unhelpful and slow act, Both my kids were born here and we spent 91 in Nicu so we’re very familiar with the hospital and usually have nothing but good things to say however last night we came in because my sons cap fell off his tooth ( a cap witch was placed on him by the dentist in this hospital) After 2 hours of waiting in a hallway our “dr” who never introduced himself, walked up and asked why we were there, he seemed confused and asked where his dentist was we said here upstairs, he said “they don’t have dentist “ and said he had to look into it and walked away. 2 hours later after we tried to leave he came back and said he spoke to dental and they don’t have the material to put his cap back on though that was odd as it is simply dental cement and kind of a necessary tool of the trade but whatever. 40 mins later they discharged us and said they’d made a appointment for the next day at 8:00 am at Ucsf parnassus. Today we’ve come to find it was not a appointment but is instead a walk in time and now we are going to have to wait several hours to be seen. Why couldn’t the ED receptionist just told us that they don’t have a dentist and told us wake up today and make a appointment? Instead we spent 4:30 in a hospital getting exposed to god knows what. Had to wake up at 5:30 am to get my son ready and get our car drive across sf to parnassus when we live walking distance to Mission bay and now we still have to wait!!! This is unacceptable very unprofessional. We never felt like our sons pain and discomfort was even a concern to anyone at the Hospital and obviously patients time is not valuable to Staff. Why lie and say we have a appointment and why send us across town when his dentist that’s he’s been going to his whole life is literally upstairs!!! Also why would you space a otherwise healthy kid between two very sick children who obviously had some kind of cold / flu ? I thought we were trying to contain viruses from spreading…Not cool mission bay do better

😠 Worst experience I’ve ever had in my life visiting the Zuckerberg hospital. Had high hopes since I live 3 blocks away, the convenience. I came in for what I thought was a trivial problem and an easy fix, a small fragment of contact lens stuck in my eye since Saturday.(yes I tried the recommended re...

😠 I just checked into the ER, from the moment I walked in I felt uncomfortable. The nurses looked at me like I was virulent. 😠 Truly nightmarish; like something from medieval times. I have two recent experiences (Feb 2021, and March 2023). The ER wait time just to be admitted was 3-4 hours each time, and the total time spent in the ER was about 12 hours each time. These delays are dangerous. And the conditions were incredib...
