Insta-worthy location which should be on your list if you’re visiting San Francisco. Awesome and colorful art all over the alley. There are phone stands in front of every art piece to capture yourself with the art without asking anyone to capture. Well thought off designs, just loved them all. Donations are accepted as the entry is free. Ample street parking available nearby, we parked at Joseph Conrad Square street parking and walked down the block.

Do not miss this extraordinary spot for photo ops right off of Fisherman's Wharf! So many beautiful murals. Our 9 year old and teenagers had a great time. Suggested donation of $5 per person but left to your discretion.

I went right when they opened so there was no on there. Which was great for me, so I got great photos without anyone in the way. I paid $5 to get in, but it was worth every penny! Be sure to tag the artist on your socials. This was a great spot!

Yesterday, while waking along Fisherman’s Wharf, maybe 50 yards from Ghirardelli Square, I stumbled upon a hidden gem next to a bicycle rental place, Umbrella Alley. This place is a gold-mine of beautiful San Franciscan themed murals, vibrant colors, and endless opportunities to take pictures. Amazingly, umbrella alley is FREE, but a $5.00 donation is suggested to help support their work. Another amazing thing is that no one on their staff is pushy or pressures folks for donations. It’s an act of good faith that I hope folks will do. They also offer jeep and Segway tours. This is definitely a place worth visiting and is good for groups, dates, or a night on the town. Definitely stop by if you’re ever in the area.

$5 entry fee, I gave them $20 so I could make a donation. The art is very beautiful and vibrant. Its a quiet little alley/parking garage across from the Hyde St cable car turnaround that has murals and sculptures to see. There is also umbrellas and balloons strung across the alley overhead. Fun little spot to get some good photos.

This place is a must see if you are by Pier 39, and want some photo ops. You can't miss this place. The art murals are amazing. The entrance is a $5 donation for the artists. After you are done here, you walk over to Pier 39 to see the sights and grab something to eat. Don't miss out on seeing this place.

Really awesome, Instagrammable spot for photos. It’s more than just umbrellas as the name suggests. There’s amazing murals and art that are beautiful, colorful, and free! (Suggested $5 donations for the local artists.) Phone stands are around to allow to to take pictures, great if you’re by yourself or if no one is around to help take a picture of you. Definitely a great spot to stop by if you’re in the area among the other touristy spots on the wharf.

This is a very colourful and nicely decorated place. They have a lot of different spots to take instagramable photos. It is more than just umbrellas. The have balloons, and various arts on each wall. I believe it is better to go at night because the colors look more radiant. It is free to enter. The also have a Greetings from San Francisco art.

Art is amazing, made to take pictures. They have stands that you can put the timer on and take the photos you want. We arrived at opening time and there was some cars blocking some of the art. Definitely worth the trip but I'd wait a little later.

Great photo opportunities. Your $5 donation per person goes to the artists. Money is collected in a box using the honor system. The location can’t be beat. It’s really close to Ghirardelli Square and across from the bay.

Great FREE place with amazing colorful PHOTO OPS for social media posts! Love the Murals and ARTISTIC WORK! Too bad people can't take photos with the "CALIFORNIA DREAMING" mural anymore :(

SUCH A GREAT PLACE! A donation gets you in, and then take all the free photos you want! Bright, colorful, fun murals, and I hear more are coming. I was so impressed and we had so much fun clowning around and posing that we donated MORE! Spent about a half hour here, and murals are outside and in a sheltered garage. My 14 yo and I had a great time.
