Took my wife here. Almost pooted myself walking past the trash can at night as a raccoon successfully pulled a jump scare on my wife and I. 10/10 view. Was irritated I missed the exit before crossing because I don’t understand why the tolls are a thing but if I didn’t I wouldn’t of came across this location and I loved every part of it and. Anyhoosers enjoy my pictures. I definitely recommend.

Been to San Francisco over 2 dozen times and I finally stumbled across this location. Loved the view point and angle of the bridge. Got some great pictures and caught it all during the golden hour or sunset. Please go, but lock your doors and take your valuables with you. Lots of break ins in the parking lot.

GET FULL DIRECTIONS BEFORE GOING! Please be warned-go slower than normal because you WILL miss the exit AND it’s a sharp turn. I had poor service so we ended up going to the Visitors Center parking lot until it updated. From the exit, turn right, and then another right. Follow it until you see Langdon Ct on the right. It is a FREE dirt parking. Make sure you have NOTHING in your vehicle for safety because it’s not patrolled and has a lot of foot traffic. Bottom line, I believe this is the best spot hands down to take pictures.

An amazing viewpoint of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s quiet, secluded and gorgeous! There are trails to take to especially going down the coast and a good area to relax! Bring a jacket, it gets cold!

Perfect place for pictures. Ample parking. On the grounds of an abandoned building, the terrain can be a bit more challenging to navigate for some. Highly recommend this FREE location.

One of the best vista points to view the Golden Gate Bridge. This is the location to capture those Instagram pics of the bridge between the two tree trunks. There is plenty of parking space. However, several signs posted warning visitors of window smashing and vehicle break-ins. It's a good alternative spot compared to the visitor center on the opposite side, but I'd recommend both as you get different views of the bridge from both ends.

I never get bored with the views from here even though I have been here 100s of times. The parking is getting progressively harder and harder here. I wish there was good public transportation to this location from main points within the city. Also this place is increasingly getting very unsafe. Please make sure you don't leave valuables in the car, specially with them visible from outside. Expert thieves can get in and out in seconds. That's amazing, in a perverse way.

This is a great spot to take in views of the bridge and old fortification. It's a high spot, so you can see quite far. It wasn't crowded at all, so it's easy to find free parking. There are a lot of good spots for photography.

Tucked out of the way and uncrowded, with excellent views of the bridge and the shoreline along an easy walking path, plus interesting graffiti on the old bunkers. Worth a stop!

One of the best views overlooking the Golden gate. This is where all the locks are on the fence for people that have either passed away or people that got engaged in married it's a lovely sentiment there are locks everywhere that date back years and years ago I recommend at least seeing it one time and bringing locks for yourself and leave one behind.

A lot of places to walk around and see the bridge if there isn't a lot of fog. Lots of buildings and interesting graffiti. You can walk to the other viewpoint from here fairly easy too. There were also tour cars here. Little yellow cars that fit 2 people and talked.

Beautiful, somewhat secluded place to snap photos of the Golden Gate Bridge on the grounds of old coastal artillery batteries. It gets windy and cold, so bring a jacket.

It was beautiful and very windy. We went there for sunset and had best time of life. Initially we were not so sure about the place to be honest but it really was a beautiful experience.

Great photo spot! Very windy. You can walk or bike from the bridge. Not to be missed!
