went a little after they opened in the afternoon, 4pm or so, bought for 3, $69 total. service was friendly and helpful. ambiance was relaxing. overall, good experience.

Pad Kee Mao rocked. Will be back for those spicy noodles. Khao Man Gai Yang was moist and yummy, served with tender rice and side of fresh veg and basil. Tamarind or sweet soy sauces. Ultra friendly service too!

Found this place by accident and glad I did. The atmosphere was friendly and the food was amazing. Pepper, who runs the front of the house, was very helpful and just happy in general, which is refreshing. A must try if you are in the area!

We got the green curry, khao soi, Thai tea and mango sticky rice and everything tasted great. Happy to have this place on our block now.

Food was so delicious and the staff was very friendly! This is an awesome new place in Oakland to check out for a quick and yummy lunch or dinner. All of the sauces are so flavorful.

The khao soi is excellent and I was pleased overall with the first two times I went. But the third time they made the portions smaller and had a smaller bowl, even though same price. If this is the new norm, I won’t continue to return because there are other good local thai places.

Great new addition to Uptown Oakland! Thank you Gigi for bringing a little piece of Thailand to us! The food is phenomenal. It is fresh, unique, and comforting. Everything down to the dressing on the side salad is homemade and the flavors are so well thought out. 10/10

My co-worker and I tried this place for the first time. They messed up our order and gave my co-worker the wrong food. My co-worker didn't say anything since they were busy during the lunch hour. She was fine with the food they gave her. The staff their realized their error and came to our table with the correct order to go without us asking. This was excellent customer service. Okay, now about the food. EXCELLENT!!! The garlic ginger rice is everything!!! If the rice was all there was available I would still be happy and satisfied, but luckily, they have so much more. The rice came in the Khao Man Gai (traditional). The fried tofu was soft and savory. Do yourself a favor and get some crispy chicken skin. We will definitely be regulars at this lovely little restaurant.

The owner/cook was so helpful she really did everything to accommodate me and my order. I will definitely be coming back for the food and the service.
