Really love this venue, love the layout of this place. There are arcade games littered throughout, plus pinball machines, billiard tables, and even air hockey! All the games run off tokens which you can convert your bills and coins into tokens! Great late night too, usually a DJ on stage. The drinks are quite tasty too! Don't forget if there's some sort of event running there, there's usually cover as well.

San Francisco abounds with entertainment options. It’s the type of place you can enjoy solo or with children as part of a family trip. I visited here most recently with my family, but my wife and I made it a point to get away on our own at least once and one of the places we visited was The Emporium, an adult arcade. Walk inside The Emporium and you will notice a large movie screen on the back wall, an upper balcony, and seats that are curved and oriented toward the screen. It should be obvious that this was once a movie theater that has been converted to a place for fun and games. And there are quite a few games from which to choose. You can play pinball, pool, air hockey, foosball, and assorted video games all in the company of adult friends and adult family. Since The Emporium is all about adult entertainment, one would expect to find lots of tasty adult beverages, and that is certainly the case at this establishment. I tended to focus on the beer and I made many memorable malt beverage discoveries when I was here. If beer isn’t your preference, they have other drinks, too. Walking around and playing different video games will certainly invoke feelings of yesteryear when you would hang out at with your besties at the local arcade. With beer or cocktail in hand, the memories will be even more enhanced, and this is what I like best about The Emporium. It’s all about adult fun, reminiscing about your gaming days, and leaving the kids behind. Could The Emporium be improved? One way would be to add food to the mix. It would be cool to sit down with a quick burger or sandwich, then focus on playing games. Another way to improve would be with more frequent maintenance on the games. I noticed more than one pair of individuals having issues with the air hockey, for example. The air was barely flowing and that meant the puck didn’t glide the way it should. Family fun and entertainment can create lasting memories. But adults need to have fun, too, and The Emporium is a satisfying means to spend adult time playing games and drinking beer or cocktails. It’s a nice getaway that anyone age 21 and up should check out on their next visit to the Bay area.

A better Dave&Busters. The bar and alcohol was great which is the main reason to be here. The game choices were average. Nothing special and a few machines were out of order. Atmosphere is great and that's what matters

It's been a while since I've been here but I'm glad it's still lively and as much if not more than the last time I remember. Love the space, love the games, love the music and vibe. Yesterday everyone was in costume since it's Halloween weekend so the decorations were on point. Staff is dope from the security, bouncer and bartenders. Everyone is happy, I feel safe and noone is rude. The drinks are so dope. Creative and tasty. They aren't that far off from traditional cocktails but the different flavors and twists make them super unique! Arcade includes classic and new cabinets. Everyone loves air hockey, skeeball and basketball I'm sure they could get more of those because the lines are sometimes long but for obvious reasons they take up space. Still the curation of games is good. Upstairs is even more space and bars. Had so much fun playing pool to close out the night and had zero issues going in and out for a quick smoke break. This place is a must visit!

very cute spot, the most fun ive had with $20 in a while. I have the frozen raspberry margarita and was pretty good too. Some games were a little outdated but still worth a shot *pool tables are free* but shhhh Will return again for sure

This place was SO FUN! We went on Halloween weekend and it was free play on half the games. Beers are decently priced and drinks are a little pricey. The tokens are also expensive but that’s San Francisco what can you expect!

Great ambience, comfortable and clean. There's ID check up front and alcoholic drinks are sold. Many retro arcade games like street fighter, space invader or puzzle bobble to relive your childhood memories!

Casual bar/arcade with plenty of different games to try out! There can be a bit of a wait time when it gets crowded, but it’s never too long of a wait. PROOF and DJWAVYBB were playing bops, and the dance floor was busy all night! Very fun place to go for groups or a casual night out. Can’t wait to go back and finish using the rest of my tokens!

The place is good. Some good videogame consoles, but definitely they could do better.

Its a fun and lively place, but on weekends it can get really crowded. They have couple of pool tables, air hockey tables, and a wide variety of arcade games. Top floor has good view tables for stage shows. Usually have DJs on the stage. Beer menu is good, food is okay.

Cane by on a Tuesday night for a pinball league. A great spot to come for date night or with a big group of people. The machines all take tokens instead of quarters. The drinks were surprisingly good. We enjoyed a slushie and mule. It gets pretty loud in there with all of the games and music, would probably bring some sort of ear plugs to dim the noise next time. I’ve been before on the weekend and it was very busy, definitely recommend a week night to get to enjoy all the games without lines.

Cool joint. Never been. Was slow during the day on a Monday. Slushy drinks were good. Sweet and cold. Bartenders were nice. Go to game was the basket ball and air hockey. They had pinball and a bunch others. Upstairs were pool tables and another bar

First of all it’s Free! Did you get that? Free Wi-Fi, free entertainment, free water, plenty of seating, capacity 900 😝 lots of charging stations omg bathrooms, in this city lol. The staff let’s just say they could supervise a mental house and I’d fit right in lol. There was a wedding party last night for one of there staff and the atmosphere couldn’t have been more festive there was plenty of love to go around. Haven’t said enough lol just go there and yes they server alcohol and non alcoholic beverages. Did I mention you can bring your own food😜

It's a dope place! The music is wicked, the space had a great lighting setup, the employees were friendly and respectful. I enjoyed the drinks, going with the right crowd definitely makes a difference so I recommend reading friends but even the people that I met there had that energy that made it a great time. I will definitely be back

Very flexible staff who were accommodating for a work party. Lively atmosphere, attentive security, and all around good vibes. Bartenders in particular were very accommodating with special requests.

This was my 3rd time to Emporium and each time I go, I end up having that much more fun. They've scaled back on some the arcades unfortunately and yet to offer food on site. Thankfully they allow food inside. Bartenders were food and had good attitudes towards their customers and were friendly. The date and myself enjoyed our takeout and some good blended drinks they offer. Yes I'll definitely return with my date.

Emporium is a very cool space with great beer options and great arcade games. However when we went for the Niners game last night and the speaker volume was unbelievably crazy loud. The stadium seating for the game was amazing for the big group I was with but everyone was complaining about the volume and how no one could talk without screaming. When we left all our ears were ringing.

This is definitely a cool spot. Half nightclub half arcade, with a very helpful staff if you want to reserve a place for your group to be. It has a cool atmosphere with a massive screen behind the DJ booth. There's the main level, which has the majority of the action, but there is also a second level with more private tables and a separate bar. Unfortunately, it isn't that great of a nightclub or an arcade. Its limited by it's size, so it doesnt have a ton of games or a very large/active dancefloor. If you go on a weekend, do not expect to be able to play a game of pool or air hockey. There are usually pinball machines open but those are not great if you are trying to be social, which is why they are some of the only games consistently available to play. Despite some of it's shortcomings, this is a unique place especially within it's neighborhood. I had a really good time just listening to music and playing arcade games with one other person. Maybe this is a great place for groups of two or less, but larger groups will get seperated. I guess that isn't always a bad thing either.

This place is a great idea. Bartenders are good for cocktails and there's a decent beer selection if that's more your style. I LOVE the retro games that are super affordable (key!). My only complaint is that there aren't enough of them to handle a crowd and the place is really popular, so plan your timing wisely if want a chance to actually play any. I've only been once but everyone I've talked to have gone multiple times and they all say the same thing. There's definitely room for more games . I understand less makes it easier to move them back for parties but it seems like the main draw is the bar/arcade thing.

Rad bar & arcade - lots of fun games, would definitely recommend coming here! Bring cash in small bills unless you want to buy a drink, though - ATM spits out $20 bills, token machine only accepts $1 and $5 bills.

Fun spot. Lots of arcade games. Loved the Midwest beer, Daisy Cutter. I haven't had one of those since I lived in Philly 6 years ago.

First off, I would like to say. Thank you to the staff and the support team there. First time going, got pretty wasted and lost my phone. Ended up asking the staff and found the found at the bar. LOVE THIS PLACE!! Music is on point, mix of old school and new school. Games are great! Only thing I think they could use is a little bit of ventilation, gets kinda hot in there. Overall, great place!

Visited on a Friday evening with a group of 8 - short line and got in very quickly. Ordered their Pie Old Fashioned - yum! Bartenders weren't super friendly. Dance floor was fun and had lots of games to choose from. Lively atmosphere! Would recommend for a fun night out.

The most fun I've had at a bar in San Francisco. Lots of fun machines to play, and a great vibe that encourages meeting some new people! The classic arcade machines are an absolute blast and the drinks are on point!

My friend and I stumbled upon this place to kill some time before leaving San Francisco and it was definitely worth the stop! We had so much fun and wished we could stay longer! The bar arcade is set up with a bunch of classic arcade games and a few newer ones as well as some pool tables and shuffle board. We also loved the cool neon aesthetic and our drinks tasted good.

I been to 3 emporiums, San Jose, oakland and here and This Place takes the Cake and RAISES THE BAR! The place is a cool theater, night club, bar, restaurant and adult arcade wrapped up into one! They got movies playing, a dance floor and Mario Kart. It’s got a bit everything for everyone! A must go if you wanna do something with friends!
